Now that would be nice.. at least that penny share status is behind us now (hopefully)
Morgan Stanley reckons Rentokil's long-suffering investors may at last have cause for cheer. The broker says the pest control to parcels group, which has issued a string of profit warnings in the last two years, may finally be recovering thanks to cost-cutting and growth plans. It says these initiatives could add 45p to today's price of 101.5p, off 0.1p, and that CitiLink's losses are being trimmed.
RSI 5 <30 . Bit of an oops there! In English, RSI, Period 5, One year View, Daily timeframe. Buy when below 30 and trending UP on SMA 50 or look at previous RSI dips and confirm the company isn't about to go down the loo. But the RSI period does need adjusted in accordance with the volumes so the 5 can become a 6 or a 4 to get a sane read. And the trend cannot be ignored, Quite fascinating watching RSI's intraday. For a SP to go DOWN, the share price must first blip up. And for an SP to go up, it must first blip down. LGEN is an easy one to try that on with a 1 minute window, intraday between 8am and 9am or 10.30 and 11am.
As per moosh, or if you have reliable stop loss mechanism keep moving them up till you get stopped out. Either using 15 min candles or some sort of trend/resistance/historical price.
Rentokil Initial has agreed to a cheaper and more streamlined form of audit deal with KPMG. Rentokil disclosed in an interim statement on Friday that the company has cut its annual payments for external and internal auditors by one million pounds, or almost a third. Under the new agreement KPMG will take on all external audit work. Internal audit work will be carried out by KPMG alongside Rentokil's own internal team. The move has surprised many who argue that there is a potential conflict of interest and the arrangement goes against new corporate governance rules.
The words 'challenging' 'difficult' and 'debt' (in scarey amounts) appear far too frequently in this report for me. In this environment it's not out of the woods yet...... I'd say although its not all doom and gloom here, use caution if investing with this one. ATB.
break out time
its hit 1.00 on a couple of occasions, would be nice to get there and hold for a while
Very promising, glad I hug in.. all good things come to those who wait!
the big mans thrown in the towel half way through the revamp!!!
The AGM was well received!
AGM today so will be interesting to see if it affects the prices. Q1 Update recently was very good so I doubt there will be any bad news.
Not holding these but came across an item that DB has upgraded these to Buy from Hold
I think that these have reached their level now and will probably stay around about current price until next update. But I think they are worth holding on to for the long ride.
I've read the stuff i posted below. i am amazed how much they have put on but some people reckon this share is a buy, some a sell but it's going in the right direction and i reckon its a medium term buy
I have to say these shares have risen even higher than I had anticipated. I thought they would hover in the mid to late 70s until later in the year. I suspect reading the update and the associated media comment that Q2 will be difficult but Q3 and 4 will be good. Anyone concur?
I'm with you on that. the news was basically all good today so unless some catastrophy happens i see no other way than up
I bought in February but I think I am going to hold on to most if not all shares for the long term. Chairman, Chief Exec etc at Rentokil are on the promise of some tidy bonuses if they get the shares back up where they should be and they seem to be heading in the right direction faster than predicted. As long as the momentum an be continued in these difficult times I think this will be nearer £2 than one in the long term.
I took a punt on this this morning and its made me a tidy little profit. someone is interested and if you look at the charts this has a lot further to go i think. i was going to day trade but i think i'm going to hold. this will make £1 plus, maybe more
1m share buy just before 4 at 77p?
