Surely got carried away at first - with a little help from so-called friends

Does not mean the TECH will not deliver

Tees exile, he owns 13.9 percent of the company. You would of thought that he would happily give all these shares to science, for the good of man kind. Don’t get fooled, he is just as greedy as next man, I can see past his saint act.
I suspect Gareth Cave's primary motivation is intrinsic, to use science for the greater good, but I am absolutely sure he would rather make money than lose money - wouldn't anyone?
There is evidence that human creativity thrives far better when it is intrinsically motivated - as per Dr Cave's primary motivation https://www.verywellmind.com/differences-between-extrinsic-and-intrinsic-motivation-2795384
He could also buy a few shares and see his investment dwindle…..oh the joys of being a RMS holder….moan moan moan…..
Well Jp if Gareth Cave isn't in it for the money then he can give some of his shares to the new Ceo.
bristoldoug64, Dr Cave may be a brilliant scientist but the trouble is that he has stated he isn't in it for the money, which is a bit worrying because we as investors are, and we got sucked in by the November hype of Dr Cave's bigger boats etc and are now massively down on our investments. I'm 80% down and I'm rather disconcerted to think Dr Cave isn't in it for the money because investors have ploughed lots of money into his business with little or no return, and looking like that for the future. I mean the bod had the first covid killing mask in the world during a pandemic and couldn't sell it. Rather worrying imo and doesn't bode well for the future of the company. Seems always like jam tomorrow.
Dr Cave, is a good scientist, but that doesn’t make him a good person. In my opinion and I have a right to an opinion and you don’t have to agree with my opinion. Dr Cave is a selfish man, who thinks very little of us investors. He has small man syndrome and he is border line narcissist.
That is my opinion of dr cave. He better step up and stop treating fellow share holders like 5hit, we live in the times of social media. Having said all that, he is a very good scientist lol.
Ok so yesterday’s RNS told us very little. It’s true that the BOD have failed to deliver on the expectations of us shareholders, and like some others on here i have reservations about the abilities of Legg and co.
That said I think it’s unfair to single out Gareth Cave, he is after all the brains behind our tech and I’m sure he genuinely believed his comments about needing a bigger boat. Let’s be honest at the time we all did and it’s why lots of us invested or topped up.
It would appear that we simply didn’t have the experience on the BOD to get this to market quickly and in volume at an affordable price.
Whatever their failings there is still time to fashion a successful business out of a missed opportunity
