But HH you have to admit BS has been TOTALLY CORRECT when he says that the sp is having another down day. The only problem is: on the up days within the range, he forgets to mention it. I'm sure it was oversight on his part. Quack quack ;-)
Hi Mullins...I've no personal knowledge of PH but would hope that a BoD of this calibre know what is needed to get this thing back on track. I see they are already making changes at Director level: IM is getting on with his job, quietly and effectively.
BS has been posting that the Shareprice has been falling for the last 2 months. However the sp has been range bound for all that time between 95p and 100p and this is normal as we are awaiting news.
I had a look at Peel Hunt yesterday. They are very active and look to be a very good outfit. I would imagine they will be involved with the new BOD regarding the strategy going forward. I cannot imagine they have taken on QPP to stand on the touch line. Things will remain quite here until we get the capital repayment and consolidation.ATB
Yeah it is, a mate of mine has a few, I promised to keep half an eye on it for him.
Hmmm I didn't think of that HH: YLF can maybe suggest some good reading. But I've heard their 'deal' is only good for people who can't do sums.
Cheers...its a punt but with very interesting prospects now. Interesting also to see what shareholders acting in concert can achieve...
So if I "lost" £100K here while not monitoring what was going on I think I could rightly be called irresponsible However if I then turned to a BB to advise me what to do next I think I could rightly be called an idiot. Good luck with your "investing" Dave - I strongly advise you to read some books on the subject. Before you stuff another £100K into shares though ATB HH
Good Luck with NEW.
Good Luck with NEW.
Just appeared as usual.....more big numbers.
*ecstatic with £1.70 now. Or £8 as it will be come December. And that's walking away with a £50k loss. I wish I'd never heard of QPP but I did and I have to deal with it. Can we not just all agree to disagree rather than behave like kids in a playground? (BS)
Say what you like about Rocal, he got out at 1.70ish. I'd be eggstatic
@Dave: reading your posting history, I strongly recommend that you contact YLF. You went from £25k down to £100k which is terrible, especially as you couldn't remember your account password. Really frustrating. YLF have set up this claim to reach out to people just like you. Go for it!
This might give you food for thought Dave. The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has dropped its two-year case against Japanese group Olympus over a £1.1bn accounting scandal The SFO announced in a statement that it could not prosecute individuals involved in this case because Japan does not extradite its nationals for investigation. Olympus and its British division Gyrus were charged with offences of making misleading statements to auditors in 2010 and 2011. The company’s chief executive at the time, Michael Woodford, exposed questionable accounting methods at the company in 2011, which he claimed lasted 13 years, after being fired for questioning the board over several large and obscure payments relating to acquisitions. Woodford sued for unfair dismissal and reached an out-of-court settlement in May 2012. A statement by the SFO regarding today’s decision said it “follows consideration of a court of appeal judgement in the case handed down in February 2015, which ruled that English law does not criminalise the misleading of auditors by the company under audit.” A court order restricting the reporting of this case was lifted today. Olympus’s acquisition of Gyrus in 2008 was one of the main deals called into question. Olympus’s board resigned following the scandal and three former executives pleaded guilty to covering up losses at the company in one of the largest financial frauds in Japan’s history. The camera firm was fined £4.6m in Japan. The SFO charged Olympus and Gyrus with misleading a prosecutor in 2013. However, London’s court of appeal ruled in February that that was not a criminal offence under English law.
you could await the outcome of the SFO enquiry or if like the Olympus litigation QPP decide to settle YLF claims, you could join that action or start your own litigation all my opinion I am not a lawyer ..........dyor
Apologies if this has already been done to death but I have not been on the share chat for quite some time after losing best part of £100k on QPP. Finally the swelling on my balls induced by the wife has gone down and I can now start living a normal life again!! She then came across a webpage going on about a company called My Legal Friend who are doing a group litigation claim and I was wondering if many people have gone down this route or is this just a waste of time, knowing my luck even if they did win the fee would cancel any money won back! ...... if I didn't laugh I would cry, at least I have my health!! Regards Dave
How so? You hold 12 shares apparently. You have no money in this :D I'd still suspect you of day trading shorting, hence today (for the first time in a while) the movement has been pretty much negligible. I can't see any other reason you'd keep reading/posting on the BB :)
"I never even had TWG on a filter list, and God knows, he WAS a "troll"; in the truest sense of the word; just about every single posting of his was insulting." That's complete rubbish and you know it. "That button, as I see it, is for abuse, pure and simple. " The report button is there and people clearly can & do click it. Unlike you, I think people should click it for violation of any of these rules http://www.lse.co.uk/chat-rules.asp 5.k is a good catch all. As such, please report my post, it has absolutely naff all to do with QPP and shouldn't be here.
Was that a NO? Just "No" would have been a good enough reply. I really don't care what you think and nor did I ask.
Kripes, CM, why are you still asking? No way at the moment am I BUYING more!!! My stance (I think this is going to be a mixed metaphor) is, as for a long while, "sit on the fence", ie. HOLD. It has to be, surely. If you've GOT Quindell shares, then hang on to them at least until you're paid, and, if you haven't got any then hang on to your money until a picture emerges. Why the hell would I, right now, hand over nearly a quid in order to get back ninety pence and be left with a couple of RT companies that I'm constantly saying ought to be flogged off?! If Quindell did that and had some money to buy some quality outfits then what a prospect that might be. As things stand almost nobody reckons that Ingenie or Himax (Himax in particular) have anything like the value that many on here believe.
@Rocal "Everything (practically) that's been written today by all and sundry, both sides of the dressing-room, gone." I had a quick scroll back over at DTM ... I didn't see much of interest that's been deleted, just the usual. Perhaps post over there if you have so much to say because it doesn't seem to get deleted? Bought any shares yet? No? Didn't think so :D
Hi Rocal. You are right. As for me I thought I would just pop in and have a look but I think I have at last managed to break free of this page. Now I have plenty of time to deal with the rest of my portfolio instead of wasting my time by searching through the piles of inconsequential posts looking for a bit of genuine and interesting information about Quindell. Thanks to all the genuine investors on this board who have posted interesting information about QPP. May pop in from time to time so GLA.
Well, fellers. All you guys who simply CANNOT keep your prodder off that button must be pretty proud of what you've achieved today. Generally speaking, individual postings do not disappear,_whole threads do, and that's exactly the situation today. Everything (practically) that's been written today by all and sundry, both sides of the dressing-room, gone. Why in God's name do you not simply use the "filter" facility instead of taking it upon yourselves to be the "prison letter-reader" who decides what others may or may not read? I get infuriated by what some of you write, as you do with me, but it's not up to me to remove your posts. It's up to me to either reply or to avoid you (filter), which I also don't do.
Which post are you referring to A_E_MARSH? Is it this one? . . "Bordersman: I can't argue with any of that. Xavier: I can't argue with any of that. All I keep banging on about is that nothing of that previous business plan could have been sustainable. The bubble would, sooner or later, have burst. If it hadn't been Gotham then some other journo would have come along. All (in my opinion) that Gotham did was (albeit in order to line their own pockets in the process) all that Gotham did was to state that Old Quindell was "a country club built on sand", That's now that view of just about EVERYBODY in the financial journalists' world. It's the view of auditors, it's the view even of the present board. I'm just intrigued (to the point of staying on here) as to why so many here do NOT subscribe to that view. A_E_Marsh, you persist in trying to persuade me that I should wait for the outcome of some inquiry or other as to RT's guilt. Why? Why, me being a partisan-witness to his idiocy, in that I'm sixteen grand short as a result of it, do I need some panel or other to confirm this for me? Why??
