I did 3 great day trades making between £5k and £8k each time. Unfortunately the 4th time it went wrong and instead of pulling it out at 10% down I left it in. Stupid. When I think back, things aren't as bad as they could have been. I haven't worked for nearly 2 years though so any 'profit' from the day trades is long gone!
We all know this please stop the spamming. it's getting worse than Jadwales and he was awful at it too
CRAIGEVANS YOU MAY WISH TO READ THE CIRCULAR ISSUED BY QPP . TO SAVE TOU TIME I HAVE COPIED VERBATIM FROM THAT CIRCULAR, BELOW IS THAT TEXT FROM CIRCULAR STATING DIRECTORS UNCLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF SFO INTENTION Since the specific focus of the SFO Investigation is currently unclear to the Directors, it is not possible to determine whether the SFO will, in due course, seek to pursue a prosecution of the Company and/or any individuals, or whether the SFO will seek a resolution of its investigation which does not involve a prosecution.
I concur GS. I have a soft spot for Rocal. After all, we have all had our journeys here and Rocal is, in my view, second on the list in terms, of all time, entertaining posters here. I was in Tesco on Sunday perusing the toast toppings. I saw the yeast based spread, thought about it for a moment, then bought it.
@Rocal "At least you'll soon have some money jingling in your purse! :-)" Surely you too will have over a tenner CR from your 12 shares? After consolidation, you'll have just 1 left - so that'll be a 20% loss for you. No wonder you're so miserable ;)
I just use the tools which the forum make available. Free Speech only ever seems to get spouted by those who don't want it. You leave Rocal alone...he's alright ;-)
Bondstreet. Since you are intending to highlight facts here, I am letting you know that I have reported your post because it is not a known fact, as you claim it is, that the focus of the SFO is unclear to the (current or past) Directors.
More spam, how was your trip to Bern?
While some on here may think this a risk free share and post those views as unchallengeable, the road ahead is far from risk free as the below circular addresses . Any potential investors should caveat all views negative and positive with a dose of the facts below ..... Since the specific focus of the SFO Investigation is currently UNCLEAR to the Directors, it is not possible to determine whether the SFO will, in due course, seek to pursue a prosecution of the Company and/or any individuals, or whether the SFO will seek a resolution of its investigation which does not involve a prosecution. Further, it is not possible to determine whether any such prosecution (if pursued) would be successful, or what the quantum of any fine or confiscation imposed as a result of a successful prosecution might be. However, the Company expects that it would have sufficient assets to pay any fine that it considers to be reasonable (and satisfy any ancillary orders) imposed on the Company by a court in the event of a successful prosecution by the SFO. Shareholders should note that if, for any reason, the Court declines to approve the Reduction of Capital, then the Return of Capital will not take place.
Good Evening GS, I hope you are well. Your above post is going to get a Rocalesque free speech rant shortly, lol. Some very exciting times ahead for us all. Best of luck in the future with our investment. I have been quieter here of late and have spent more time researching the tech side and its possibilities. We do seem very undervalued at present. ATB mate.
can we put up some NO POSTING signs all along bond street.
I report his posts. Drivel...All of it.
bondstreet. why are you spamming the board with quotes from RNS's whilst offering no point.? Are you expecting that people have not read them.?
Thanks for pointing out the blindinly obvious
You are very boring bondstreet
More drivel...what's your point?
Drivel....getting desperate? Clutching at straws? What about the thesaurus?
potential investors may like to take note of what the directors think in that the road ahead is far from clear of obstacles to recovery ....... below has been taken from QPP circular .re capital return and related matters ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Since the specific focus of the SFO Investigation is currently UNCLEAR to the Directors, it is not possible to determine whether the SFO will, in due course, seek to pursue a prosecution of the Company and/or any individuals, or whether the SFO will seek a resolution of its investigation which does not involve a prosecution. Thanks for correcting me GS BS Has been TOTALLY CORRECT a bit like a stopped watch that is TOTALLY CORRECT twice a day. I am sure BS is kicking himself for not informing us all when the Share price has an up-day. . . I expect he is a little embarrassed but not to worry as we have been able to fill in the blanks ourselves. I will now take care to watch out for his next post as we need to know FACTS ATB HH
You're probably right, GrumpyScouser, and the group that you've mentioned is also likely to be quite large. I've followed this board all the way since I first bought into Quindell and I've noticed that a lot of people have been averaging down. Now that you've reminded me what the old prices were that's made it a bit clearer in my own mind too. I first bought a large (well, large for me) bunch of those at something like thirty-four pence and then later another smaller (top-up) tranche at something like forty or forty-two p. I'm still well down. When you look at these quite disparate ( though not necessarily desperate :-)) groups of shareholders it becomes easier to understand why people hold such different views about QPP, doesn't it?
When I hopefully get my 90p I will just be back to pre Gotham profit only just but I am still kicking my self for not selling at 42p never mind live and learn, GLA
Lolz/Rocal: there is a third group also, as I really don't see this as the two extremes you've listed. Those like me who first came across Quindell a month or so before Gotham. My first purchases were at around 40p (old money) i.e. £6. However, during the course of the last 18 months, I (they) made further purchases which I (they) continue to hold, including well below £1. Not at the very lowest as I didnt have the balls, frankly, at that stage. I'm sitting on an extremely modest loss today, and am very comfortable that I'm doing the right thing for me. During the next 12-24 months this will remain a substantial holding for me unless information is published which casts doubts on the new direction. ATB
Hi, Lolz. You are right in saying that I got out at 172 pence, but, unfortunately for me I tried on a couple of occasions to day-trade my way back up and after a couple of wins I lost out again. My own fault, completely. Day-trading works for some people but, in this case it didn't for me. The averaging-down maths for me has gotten so complex now that I suppose my final exit point would be somewhere around one pound and forty. It's still a massive punch on the nose though because I originally bought in around Christmas time in 2013 and whatever that price was it was certainly way above one pound forty! So, just like you, I'm well down on this one. There seems to be two groups of Quindell investors to me. There are those who got in in the region where I did and for whom this is just about the worst share they ever heard of and there are those who bought in this year, some as low as in the thirties, and for whom this is just about the best investment they've ever made! I don't suppose those two groups will ever see eye-to-eye! All the best, Lolz, and take good care of yourself. At least you'll soon have some money jingling in your purse! :-)
