I think I will also sell all my shares based in BS postings. Oh hang on a minute when I look at his posting history he can't even decide whether he is a verbose lexicographer or an everyday spammer. Hmmm in that case I think I will continue to hold out. Nice try Bondy xx
Hi Poole gems I used to live in Poole so hi!! BTW RTs mate across the pond has gone QSAG researchers spotted this a few days ago so there are no cronies to worry about. Next HH
splendid.....all except blondestreak's drivel, unfortunately.
PooleGems (apologies if this seems like I'm stalking you :-) .) I'm just picking up on a couple of points you've raised. Don't you reckon that, if upwards of fifty million can be raised through the sale of the telematics stuff that this would be a positive outcome? I do. Fifty million to invest in something over here. Fifty million for an acquisition that is under the nose of the Board and not an outfit across the Atlantic that was started up by one of RT's mates and who's still got a finger on the console. Fresh board, fresh start; why not? I know that they've pulled the plug on most of RT's bathwater but I reckon his babies should be chucked out with it.
...just about everything's disappeared from this board again today. PooleGems, similar to your posting, nothing really to do with Quindell, simply a question: If all the stockbrokers, solicitors, Tory politicians and Queen's Counsellors that live in the lovely little villages around Heathrow Airport can hold up any reasonable development of aforesaid airport for about a quarter of a century, how long do you reckon the same crowd in Surrey and Kent will manage to stop an oilfield underneath their summerhouses, rock-gardens and pergolas being developed?
OMG, thankyou for letting me know Bondstreet. I have just instructed my broker to urgently sell my Quindell shares, that I have held for nearly 4 years, because of your new shocking revelation.
Great post. I agree with every word. Already have a few UKOG. ATB
Risk regarding the capital return.... what risk !.............. I don't see any risk ! If the court were to say that there is to be no capital return, then the price of the shares remain as at present, until the 10 shares becomes 1 share, so now each share will be worth around £10 each, possibly more when the value of the rest of the company's is known. If you were wanting this 90p per share right now, then what's stopping you from selling whatever you want right now ? The only downside as I see it would be a small selling charge, for myself I would be more than happy if they did NOT give the 90p return at all !, just give us it's shareholders regular updates as to what the company is presently worth, and what profit or loss it's made each quarter, within 14 days of each quarter ending, then we can all make valid judgements if we wish to leave our monies in this company or to sell and place elsewhere. I have been with this company when buying at IN @ £6 each only to see the value of this company fall, so then purchased more at various stages, and my best buy was on 10th December last when I purchased a further £50,000 @ 25p each, and various smaller purchases in between, all of which I still hold, so presently averaged down to around £1. Always remember you have not lost or made anything until you sell your shares. I am fed up as many of you other shareholders must be, when posting are made saying if only I had done this or that, but that's life, nothing is certain except death, and if you feel that way, then all I can say is shares are not for you, and suggest you buy premium bonds If they do give the 90p return, then I will possibly buy another 9 million shares in United Kingdom Oil & Gas (UKOG) @ around 1p at present, coal generators are being shut down and replaced with gas, so when the 'flow-tests' are know for the Weald and IOW shortly and this gas/oil can be extracted without fracking, then these shares will rocket, still that's only my opinion, and if they don't then I will only have myself to blame, and WON'T be crying or posting any negative postings or blaming others. With Quindell, yes there has been problems, but that was all due to the old directors, now let's give the new ones a chance to come good, they have sold part of the company, and then have a further offer of 50 million for the telematics side which they are rejected, so they must know something we don't about it's true value or would they not have sold ! In the next few weeks I can only see this share hovering around the £1 mark until all is known, and possibly just a little higher nearer the 18th December so hold tight to what you have and good luck.
Thanks for the info
""I know you meant to add, capital reduction is , subject to shareholder and court approval, "" Firstly of course, you actually know nothing of the sort, I suppose you are now claiming to be a mind reader? Everybody except you is aware of the (virtually non-existent) "risk" regarding the capital return. The Bod have carefully crafted the procedure to enhance the chance of success well beyond "probable", IMO. If I am proved wrong don't hesitate to remind me. I know you won't.
I know you meant to add, capital reduction is , subject to shareholder and court approval, BONDSTREET.
As stated in RNS: - Trading in Ordinary Shares ex-entitlement to Capital Return is expected to be on 18 December 2015 with the expected dispatch of cheques to Shareholders or crediting of Shareholders’ CREST accounts (as appropriate) in respect of Return of Capital entitlements, on or around 31 December 2015.
Hi Guys. I am sorry if this has been asked a million times or if its common info but I dont follow this chat every day. My question is: Do we have a date yet for receiving the 90p ?
Kripes, Arbitrader, I've just realised that I've made an assumption there based upon no evidence whatsoever. You have MADE ludicrous amounts of money doing FOREX etc....haven't you? I mean, this being only your seventh posting I've nothing to go on there, have I? Silly of me.
No, Arbitrader. Like so many on here you're almost certainly right. I'm probably only on here (me being the frequent loser that I am) in order that some of the received wisdom of so many of you self-confessed winners in life's race rubs off on me. Now, though: YOUR turn. Make MY day by telling me that you are going to carry on building up ludicrous amounts of money by continuing in FOREX, spread-betting, day-trading......
Thanks for your reply. However your newest reply (which refers to my name) is utter tosh and not comparable to Quindell, or (knowingly) factual to the Quindell situation. Let's get factual, on track, and let's compare apples to apples. I'll report your most recent post for the above mentioned reasons. Admin, if you're reading; this is my reason.
Blondestreak has had to resort to SCREAMING IN CAPITALS......touched a raw nerve have we? Post reported as usual.
Blondestreak: looks like you have a very raw nerve....maybe its all those posts which Admin keep deleting. ******.
CRAIGEVANS With regard to the current SFO investigation into QPP it appears the latest ruling by the appeal court on OLYMPUS that a company can not be prosecuted for misleading auditors does not preclude a different charge being brought against the company should evidence be found to support such a charge ..... I have copied and pasted from a story in the FT which supports this opinion .... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................ The SFO charged Olympus and its UK subsidiary, Gyrus Group, in 2013 under section 501 of the Companies Act 2006 — making a statement to an auditor that was misleading. The appeal decision could make pinning corporate liability using the SAME law difficult for similar cases in the future. However, people close to the Olympus case say that the SFO could have used DIFFERENT charges.http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/8c57044e-87c9-11e5-90de-f44762bf9896.html#axzz3rvZn3Lo2
I totally agree. The things you mention are gambling and gambling is for mugs. Spread betting can be lucrative but I think the percentage for success is about 5% of everyone who tries it. I don't bother with the lottery because they only release 45% of their total income in prizes. My partner does £12 a week, I ridicule him quite often but we do share the occasional beautiful dream of winning it.
Although these comments have been posted in the past, due to apparent repeated spamming of the board I think it is appropriate to remind ourselves of certain genuine facts..... This post was made some time ago but is constantly ignored by those with an agenda, as those new to this comment will see, Quindell fits virtually all the criteria. (Though not all as they haven't been taken over.) RE: SFO Matters to be taken into consideration in establishing that it is not in the public interest to prosecute a corporate entity "(f) The offending is not recent in nature, and the company in its current form is effectively a different body to that which committed the offences. For example it has been taken over by another company, it no longer operates in the relevant industry or market, all of the culpable individuals have left or been dismissed, or corporate structures or processes have been changed in such a way as to make a repetition of the offending impossible." Would seem highly relevant here. Taken from the CPS guidelines. Legalese
""Since the specific focus of the SFO Investigation is currently unclear to the Directors, it is not possible to determine whether the SFO will, in due course, seek to pursue a prosecution of the Company.."" We now know, following the Olympus case that the SFO will have no intention on "pursuing a prosecution of the company". Therefore this item is now irrelevant. rather like the contributor who keeps referring to it. An e-mail to admin explaining recent events should lead to these mis-leading posts being removed.
Haha you are hilarious Rocal I must say! Because you can't make something work, it is surely a scam.. Now please tell me, to really make my day, you have children whom you teach this philosophy.
I think we have a golden opportunity. ATB
Lolz, that's practically EXACTLY my own experience! I've now consigned (in my own mind, at least) day-trading to the same wheelybin as spread-betting, shorting and FOREX. Of the four of them FOREX must, by far, be the doziest. If I discovered that my best mate was doing it and I really cared about him I reckon I'd kidnap him, take him to a cellar and keep him chained up for a couple of years, or at least until he came to his senses! :-) When the lottery first came out God knows how many years ago I was among the first to buy a ticket. The worst thing possible happened to me: I won ten quid. It happened the next week too, and so I flung about two quid a week into the crazy scheme for about six years. When the maths crashes in and your eyes finally open it's a great feeling. You find yourself completely immune to all that "You've got to be IN it to WIN it bullsh*t"!
