HF, I cant ever remember any placing not dipping the SP lower than the offer price, it's usually a given unless you follow it by exceptional news which would be a rarity. Don't think many can say that the weren't expecting a SP nosedive, I know I was.
You can currently buy at a lower price than the 1.25p offer price. This happened at the last open offer.
Well said TechyRob I’m going to try for extra again this time I got twice my entitlement in July. This time I don’t expect to get very many extra shares at all. 100% take-up incoming. I’m finally seeing a glowing light at the end of a long Quadrise tunnel.
Good luck all holders here 😊
Thanks @TechyRob for a balanced rational post. Totally agree
As techy says, the Placing/subscription was whipped up and pretty much already a given by the time it was announced, which means the £1.5 million was already in the bag before the announcement as II's took the full amount offered to them without hesitation. I have no doubt in my own mind that if the full amount QED were asking for went straight to II's that it would have been fully subscribed aswell, the fact they are giving shareholders an opportunity to raise the extra £1 million is not because they couldn't raise it with II's, it's most likely simply done as a courtesy for the layman shareholder by giving us cheap shares as a gesture of goodwill. They could have easily shut out the average joe shareholder and gotten all the cash they asked for via the II placing.
If I'm able to, I'll certainly be taking my allowed portion, as despite the setbacks, news will be inevitably edging closer, and if we do get that QED, Cargill & MSC agreement all signed by the end of this month as the anticipated, then we will certainly be rising north quite abit, especially now the funding has been resolved, even if it wasn't the avenue of the funding itself wasn't what people wanted, but what matters is that its sorted for atleast a year or so now.
Not sure how I can partake when my shares are on trading 212?
" to say there is ‘absolutely no chance’ is utter rubbish"
No one can ever be held to account for their nonsense online
Well as the placing and subscription has already raised £1.5m there is clearly investor appetite, and as they’re now only looking for a further £1m through OO (which the placing and subscription investors can also partake), to say there is ‘absolutely no chance’ is utter rubbish.
Also as has been stated previously - the request on investors is much lower this time (only 1 share offered per 19 held), so my read of the situation is that a full subscription is, on balance, quite likely.
'We are getting news shortly….unfortunately It just didn’t come before they needed cash.'
Good lord he now even knows more than JM.
We are getting news shortly….unfortunately It just didn’t come before they needed cash.
I am on planet ‘happy’ . Come and visit one day. You might actually like it 😀
'Probably positive that the Open Offer will be over subscribed too'
Unless we get news shortly what utter nonsence.Absolutely no chance of being over subscribed. You have to wonder what planet some people are on.
I will be absolutely staggered if the open offer is fully subscribed..We do now know there was an additional motive behind the QRF visit.
Hotty, you talk sh*te!
12 pointless posts since the announcement yesterday evening.
OO is one share for every 19 shares held, vs 8 last time.. isn’t that shooting oneself in the foot and possibly even be less successful?
Probably positive that the Open Offer will be over subscribed too
"Or what could happen is if the placing is successful the 1.5m should be enough"
It has been successful.

The Company has conditionally raised total gross proceeds of £1.5 million pursuant to the Placing of 118,922,107 Placing Shares and the Subscription of 1,077,893 Subscription Shares in each case at the Issue Price of 1.25 pence per New Ordinary Share. The gross proceeds of the Placing and Subscription are expected to be supplemented by additional gross proceeds of up to approximately £1 million to be raised pursuant to the Open Offer.
This is very true. Or what could happen is if the placing is successful the 1.5m should be enough to get us to year end anyway and to commercial deals. The share price may even rise on this good news and maybe the OO will be a good gesture from the board as us holders will get a the opportunity for a few more cheap shares. Clearly very few will subscribe if the share price is anywhere near the offer price as otherwise we would all be making the same mistake as last time.
"4G we all know u are full of bs, and that you cant be trusted"
I've been reading his posts for a decade. I don't know anything about you apart from the fact that you seem to have a hard on for him.
Last time the OO was 38% successful…
Last time we saw the SP go down as low as 0.66p..
So again, why buying at 1.25, when with a little patience you can get the same sub 1p, this is not charity here…
My bet is that the success of the open offer will be even less successful..
This could only work if a major announcement comes very soon to keep the SP stable, else QED could not even make enough money to last till EOY…
'Should the Open Offer be fully subscribed, the net proceeds of the Open Offer will provide the Company with a clear pathway to profitability and the resources to progress opportunities in Central America and Southeast Asia, thereby creating a presence in the marine bunkering hubs of Panama and Singapore and enable progress with bioMSAR development.'

"... should active project milestones be delivered on currently anticipated timelines."
What are the chances of that being achieved?
If you look at the QED record, the chances are ZERO!
Aussie.
The net proceeds of the Placing and Subscription are expected to provide Quadrise with the necessary working capital resources to 31 March 2025, by which time projects in Morocco and Utah are expected to be generating commercial revenues, and the trial with MSC will be near completion, should active project milestones be delivered on currently anticipated timelines.

I think, mentally, I'm going to read all announcements as true and then add 4 months onto them.
Nice to see both Andy and Jason buying 2.2m shares in the placing and other director 1m+ in the subscription
> I have lost count of how many placements and open offers there have been now.Must be over 10.
Hottie usually loses count when he gets past 3.
