Wowzers what a great bit of unexpected cheeky news. I think this is massive not only in the context of displaying our technology in front of high-end potential investors/shipping community but the fact that BMZ will be a Zero emission fuel is major news in itself and this is a clever way to test and accelerate the concept to market. So showcasing this kind of thing in Cannes is a double whammy. Literally showcasing our technology and solutions in front of multi millionaires. Hopefully they can crack the fuel, every faith in the world-class chemistry wizards we have to make this work and perform well! It would be a great advert for us.
I thought it would take them much longer to develop BMZ to be honest….is this why they needed extra money from the last raise for this R&D on this front? I’d be interested to know how far along they are in developing/testing BMZ at QRF. Fingers crossed this all goes well, it could be massive for us and Vertoro. End of the day we have to be planning ahead because we want to be a one-stop-shop for decarbonisation solutions! Simple as. Don’t underestimate what it could mean. Just because they are planning for the future doesn’t mean they aren’t focused on the present and delivering on current core projects and in fact it only adds more reasons for MSC to want to pursue QED when they have a MSAR platform which is adaptable and flexible depending on what fuel sources/blends they use. The IMO are implementing incremental year on year carbon tax across the shipping industry, right up to net zero by 2050, where I’d imagine by 2050 the Carbon fines would be quite financially crippling, kind of like buying a pack of cigarette right now in the UK lol, so if you are MSC you’d want to have a plan in place for the future. Hence why they are working on it because it could essentially be QED’s golden ticket to being a blue-chip company. Jasons gonna be sailing the ocean on a BMZ fuelled Yacht smoking a cigar haha. Keep the news flowing ;)
Maybe they had to release an RNS statement just to state the obvious to be in line with the regulatory bodies and to get investor queries off their backs. Would have been nice for them to formally state in the RNS what is causing the hold up. At least they've stated they are focused on the delivery of the Project agreement asap, if they are going to issue a revised forecasted date, then please make it a realistic timeframe and don't over promise and under deliver, it's the other way round Jason lol!
Great news on the Valkor front. I must admit I was not expecting anything, especially on a Friday. The way I read the last RNS is that we should expect more updates over the coming weeks and months now. That domino has been pushed which should start a cascade of events which ultimately will be a big milestone for Quadrise, once they get receipt of payment from Valkor, not only is this a major milestone for the company and actual revenue in the bank, but could open up more doors in America. Those yanks have a lot of dosh and when it comes to sales……making your first is always the hardest.
Once the company can prove they have a solution, real world data and a happy customer, it enables them to market something & bag new business/deals, galvanises the team whilst improving environmental credentials of all the parties involved. Who knows this Utah project could evolve into something much bigger for Quadrise! In addition, if we start making money and steadily progress towards commercialisation, it means any underhanded tactics to try buy our technology on the cheap will be off the cards when we have cash flow. Not getting ahead of myself, but if things start to go our way for once, then the potential for growth on our very small MCAP is mental. We’ve got money in the bank and I hope we start to get a flurry of good news and tangible progression from here. GLA Basher
Great uptake and fair play to the BoD who have orchestrated this raise successfully. That gives us a good cash runway now and should stop the SP being suppressed. Positive news inbound! Get your postman hat on Jason and start delivering ;)
I thought that was a very good meeting and very positive & well put together, outlining timelines, incremental carbon capture penalties, expected 2024 milestones and their future plans etc... We are where we are and AM literally said they recognise now is the time to deliver on project milestones and deliver value to Shareholders and capitalise on the position they are in. We've got much more cash in the bank now giving us a runway till next year and an amazing opportunity now for growth & pathway to commercialisation. Be interesting to see how much is raised on the 12th April! I’m just viewing Valkor as bonus money….don’t expect anything but it will be a pleasant surprise when it materialises.
The timeline for the agreement with MSC/Cargill is out of their hands so very little they can do to expedite that! Although it will be very exciting when it drops! The way I see it is right now QED are massively undervalued, they've got like 5-6M in assets, world class SME's in this field and a portfolio of valuable IP patents - worth a fortune IMO, especially when the water in emulsion technology means we can use waste streams that competitors can't (in the context of developing BioMSAR Zero)! Certain soluble reagents and chemical compounds, catalysts etc require water to dissolve in and work. JM very much focused on the cost saving but I think he should have mentioned that point too, not only can we make it cheaper but we can literally use waste streams which is only exclusively available using our technology & those waste streams don’t adversely affect the environment (Carbon Negative). When we cement this agreement with the 'bigdogs' it will be huge in the context of propelling us forward and a statement of intent from MSC. Albeit frustrating when were in limbo not knowing when exactly it’s gonna land! Keep your chins up lads; the tide is turning thanks to global GHG regulations! Fingers crossed we get good news soon! You'd need new training for a new fuel 100% the properties & handling of it will be completely different. Risk assessments, COSSH, environmental regulations etc... However the cost of training seafarers is peanuts to the world's biggest shipping company. I agree the amount of training and changes that each type of fuel would need will differ and some fuels can be much more dangerous than conventional fuels. Obviously green methanol is highly flammable and storage of it in designated containers has much more stringent controls e.g. away from igniting sources & ensure ventilation, to migrate the risk of fire & explosion. But ye I agree that training to shift to BioMSAR would be much easier than Methanol or Ammonia, especially since the team have highlighted at how safe and stable our fuels are & easy to integrate into existing equipment. Health & Safety first!

To be fair, like many others, I was hoping for good news on the back of them raising cash but this funding issue is what's been keeping the SP down, so at least get it out the way now and then good news afterwards might work more in our favour, especially as it give an opportunity to buy more cheap shares. We all knew it was the elephant in the room at the most recent AGM. Progress has been made on all fronts but we were all hoping for the MSC trial agreement in full! Now the Board must deliver and work their socks off to progress us on all key projects. Nice to see the BoD staking more this time round but for the love of god, get a move on and start delivering for Shareholders. There's a massive shift in environmental agenda globally so now's the time to capitalise! Pull up your socks and deliver!
Interesting paper attached to this post. Note the part that says its beneficial to use waste streams for fuel and not sources of crops for food or feed under the fuel definition section of the paper. Note that Bud Darr was in attendance for these discussions and made a comment on the linkd in post 21 hours ago.
They are emphasing investments are needed in fuel supply chains and also the fines for non-compliance of not reducing GHG emmisons will increase incredimeditally, not sure if that's year on year but I guess so. Better crack on the eh

Come on now you veterans have seen it all before! This company has so much potential for growth & this share price will multi bag from here. Just have a few hurdles to jump and we will formally be in bed with multi billion pound corporations! I actually hope the news doesn't come too soon so I can keep moping up cheap shares.
10p to get hit at some point this year IMHO.
I firmly believe we have a v strong product & technology with a real life viable pathway to Netzero on the MSAR platform. Don't take your eyes off the prize champs
Fear not! The big news will drop before the end of this month and we will be flying high! They must have a plan for the funding and once we get that sorted in tandem with positive project updates, we can kick on. Defo overdue a big break which I still feel will happen soon ;)
How volatile is this share? What goes up, must come down! This could be a pipe dream. Essentially investing on the hope that there is tangible commercial amounts of Helium available for extraction & storage to sell, which in itself is a very complex operation. Still looks very much in it’s infancy this, miles off commercialisation. However if Lorna can deliver over the coming years, this could be a strong buy at these kind of levels. Worst case scenario it goes sub 1-0.5p which is a good time to buy & DCA.
Oh no, all my money is floating away 😂 into the abyss 🤯 This share reminds me a Sirus minerals for some reason. Helium..... a tiny humble element..... From small things come great beginnings. Lol. I'm not deramping, Honestly I do hope it comes back but my initial stake was only £200 on this which is now halved. Be interesting to see where this goes over the coming months. GLA
