Think of BioMSAR like a baseline Biofuel that can become more sustainable and economically viable fuel choice dependant on the reagents they drop in and are available at scale. So the aim is to get to Zero eventually but the beauty is is flexible and adaptable so should smash this regulatory criteria.

It's a great question and an important consideration for anyone involved in biofuels. However, this actually plays to QED's strengths and the unique advantages of BioMSAR. So while it looks like your trying to dig for something to short the price, you've actually found a good reason for QEDs biofuel and emulsion technology to be head and shoulders above the rest 😆

The concern highlighted in the article revolves around the sustainability, emission savings, and certification of biofuels. Specifically, it's crucial that biofuels meet stringent criteria to be recognised as sustainable and to receive the appropriate certification under the CII and EU regimes. Without this, biofuels could be penalised as if they were conventional business as usual fuels.

QED is leveraging drop-in waste streams that are not intended for crop use—these are billions of tons of materials that would otherwise go to waste. This dramatically lowers the well-to-wake carbon intensity of BioMSAR compared to other biofuels that rely on traditional feedstocks, which can sometimes be contentious in terms of sustainability (e.g., using crops that could otherwise serve as food or feedstock).

Because BioMSAR is derived from waste, it should smash this sustainability criteria that regulators are focusing on. This means BioMSAR is not just compliant, but actually advantageous under the CII and EU regimes. The incredibly low carbon intensity of BioMSAR, along with its production process, positions it to achieve the highest sustainability certifications—ensuring shipowners and operators benefit from its use rather than facing any penalties.

These regulatory requirements are a significant competitive advantage for QED and BioMSAR over other biofuels that might struggle to meet the same standards.

Rightly pointed out AKHM because of the Methane Slip LNG is actually worse for the atmosphere as CH4 is a much more potent GHG than CO2. Co2 is much easier to remove from the atmosphere too. The regulations imposed by the IMO take into account the entire spectrum of emissions so not sure they would save on Carbon costing when your basically just swapping from one pollutant to another.

It went our way! Approved! Yes! Valkor's approval for over 100 wells is a significant milestone, especially considering the challenges faced during the last trial with Hoodoo. I was worried they would try to drag on their objections forever and be a thorn in our side.

It is impressive that each well can potentially produce oil for over 20 years. I had no idea! This partnership could be a long a lucrative bread earner for Quadrise!

I like the fact Valkor already have boots on the ground in Utah and can scale up massively on their initial wells drilled. Good to hear the HSO samples have been prepared for Quadrise to begin MSAR® and bioMSAR™ formulation and testing in Q3 2024. So we should hear news on both the testing results and Valkor project funding soon. Then once they have the project funding and operations are in flow….sales! Is commercialisation on the distant horizon? 1st sale is always the hardest and with success with 1 project, bizarrely I think it would give us the impetus to get other projects over the line.

While MSC are dragging their feet, it is reassuring to see substantial developments with Valkor and OCP, great potential for QED's growth when the stars begin to align.

If we were to compete in the Olympics, we’d definitely be running the hurdles! That was a big one we got over yesterday, we have more to jump but the finish line is in sight now :)

I like the part where you mentioned they can actually utilise the MSAR at the wellsite to power the extraction which will increase their mark-up of the whole operation and act as an advertisement for sales, whilst being much more environmentally friendly than your conventional methods. This is yet another selling point for what is truly a brilliantly engineered product. MSAR is the OG.

Be a huge milestone if we can make it in America and attract investment from yanks :) Are we on the cusp of going commercial? Jason might have to buy his team some new QED T-shirts haha. A lot to be excited about on different fronts....once we make it in one sector then the floodgates will open & the rest will follow and all the negative bears will have to go into hibernation. I hope all you negative bears have enough supplies stored up to last you through next winter. At least a bit of MSAR could keep you ticking over haha.

Jason has not posted on Linkd In in like 8 years and then 4 posts in the last 3 weeks, clearly because he’s now confident that he will be the CEO who commercialises this company and turns it into a revenue generating business. Sounds like he is starting to feel proud of his past and present achievements, which is a good sign. No more burying your head in the sand….unless it’s tar sands!

Something is in the air for sure. His so close I can taste it comment was actually right when you think of all the groundwork gone into pave the way for the position we in now, it’s been a long journey but we are about to go commercial! OCP are world leaders, absolute giants, they have 70% of the world’s phosphate reserves which is a massive commodity required for making fertilizer to grow crops. They generated revenue of 5.6 billion in both 2018 & 2019. And we’ve signed a Commercial framework agreement with them, yes frustratingly took it’s time to get this point with the bureaucracy hoops and slow processes , due diligence stuff etc these type of companies need to follow, but once you’re in bed with them you’re not getting out! I’m buzzing we have a deal with OCP and it looks very promising for future revenues….. once the paid for 30 day trial is completed at their Jorf Lasfar site & we have a fuel supplier. Should just be a formality! They have the right pump procured now too ;)

Valkor progressing well now and could lead to revenues soon, huff & puff the honey for money!

MSC/Cargill agreement hopefully signed off soon so we can revolutionise the shipping industry and have real world environmental solutions now, the potential for growth in that sector is mind-boggling, hence, why we all want this agreement boxed off asap so we can start the LONO trial! No idea when this will drop? Hopefully soon!

I said we were due Morocco news soon last week and weve got a very promising update. I'm in Gran Canaria now so actually rather close to Morrocco but my binoculars don't reach that far 😉 We're live and kicking and on our way to commercialisation. I think it's because it's dictated by the clients process which are slow. These processes involve multiple layers of bureaucracy, which are inherently sluggish but ultimately once your in your in. So I guess it's just a waiting game until it's not!

Big 27K buy earlier. Bit of a quite couple of weeks recent but let's hope they are busy in the background & good news in on the horizon soon. Could be go boom in June? Who knows? Not heard much on Morocco for a while so surely we are due some news on that front!

Tbf based off what JM said I cashed out my shares in CAB payments which has now 2.5x bagged since and my investment in QED is 40% down so I'm about 18K worse off which is very frustrating but I still think we will come good in the coming months. Obviously the potential is massive here. Any idea what's happening with the morrocco project? Also in the Marine MSC update they said they were going to give us an update in due course? Any idea when that will be?

Wowzers what a great bit of unexpected cheeky news. I think this is massive not only in the context of displaying our technology in front of high-end potential investors/shipping community but the fact that BMZ will be a Zero emission fuel is major news in itself and this is a clever way to test and accelerate the concept to market. So showcasing this kind of thing in Cannes is a double whammy. Literally showcasing our technology and solutions in front of multi millionaires. Hopefully they can crack the fuel, every faith in the world-class chemistry wizards we have to make this work and perform well! It would be a great advert for us.

I thought it would take them much longer to develop BMZ to be honest….is this why they needed extra money from the last raise for this R&D on this front? I’d be interested to know how far along they are in developing/testing BMZ at QRF. Fingers crossed this all goes well, it could be massive for us and Vertoro. End of the day we have to be planning ahead because we want to be a one-stop-shop for decarbonisation solutions! Simple as. Don’t underestimate what it could mean. Just because they are planning for the future doesn’t mean they aren’t focused on the present and delivering on current core projects and in fact it only adds more reasons for MSC to want to pursue QED when they have a MSAR platform which is adaptable and flexible depending on what fuel sources/blends they use. The IMO are implementing incremental year on year carbon tax across the shipping industry, right up to net zero by 2050, where I’d imagine by 2050 the Carbon fines would be quite financially crippling, kind of like buying a pack of cigarette right now in the UK lol, so if you are MSC you’d want to have a plan in place for the future. Hence why they are working on it because it could essentially be QED’s golden ticket to being a blue-chip company. Jasons gonna be sailing the ocean on a BMZ fuelled Yacht smoking a cigar haha.
