Thanks JackG 👊🏻
These results are incredible and we're doing more than what's needed in terms of emmisons reductions until 2040 (where 70-80% will be the new target at this stage - we already working on that solution BMZ - forgot who named it that but it's a class name), so that's 16 years worth @30% emmison reductions and cost saving, environmental targets we can deliver right now. Amongst all the other benefits, we get 7% more engine efficiency, just the icing on the cake. Wow! How much cost saving is 7% engine efficiency alone worth? Does that essentially mean the ship can travel further with less fuel 🛳️🤑
I'd also imagine some sort of emmisons financial tax which is lower the closer you are to set target. So if you make no effort and keep spitting out Co2, the main GHG atmospheric offender and other toxic gases with a business as usual attitude, then you should expect to pay the maximum fines by these regulatory bodies. No idea what they will be but it's enough to get these tycoons to sit up and hopefully fast track major changes needed to comply.
Meaning our clients would have to pay zilch if we can already get the 30% - 45%, whilst making crazy cost savings anyway and being easier to transition our technology without making huge upgrades investments on the ships. Money talks at the end of the day. Last time I checked MSC they are worth 92 bill 🤣
About as no brainer as it gets to crack on and get the ball formally rolling, putting pen to paper.... Or digital signatures since covid lol. 😎
