I've read through the RNS and the key point is, as far as I can tell, that CL17 has agreed to pay the receiver €170,000 to give up their 30% rights in any settlement, which looks pretty good since 30% of €700,000 is €210,000. CL17 are betting that the Venice Court of Appeal sets the hearing date to approve the settlement before it issues its ruling on the appeal, otherwise the offer of €700,000 will be void. If you subtract the €170,000 paid to the receiver, from the €700,000 expected settlement, CL17 will be in pocket by around €530,000 once they receive the settlement funds.
CL17 are still pursuing the main defendant and one other for the remaining €5.575 million since they aren't included in the appeal, or the €700,000 settlement. It's hard to know if CL17 will ever be successful in recovering the outstanding €5.575 million, so far they appear to be struggling to persuade these two defendants to pay up.
The reason I believe this to be irrelevant, is because at best it'll cover QBT's operating costs for a couple of years, should they also receive the €5,575,000, but it'll make no difference when it comes to the success or failure of QBT's product offerings. The only thing that'll save QBT is if their innovations show real world efficiency improvements matching those seen in the lab.
Well this is what we are waiting for fleccy, the methods are in the process of being ported and tested at the moment so we are awaiting results of this and live testing as per the last update 2months aga.
Should see a proper uplift when the money hits the bank which should be the next few days and then a further 10.
Sp should act accordingly as we are updated you would think.
Fleecy ! how's it going , thought you may pop into today lol
Fleecy- its so irrelevant you decided to grace us with your presence today. Thank you for keeping a close eye on Qbt as per usual:).
Oh no someone posted an opinion different from mine. I best counter ad hominum rather than debate using facts and logic.
'funds have been recovered'
No they haven't, you can't have read the PRN.
Fleecy look at this posting history, his interest is not in crypto ,it is in Qbt. Facts don't lie, but he does
Today’s price doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Everyone knows were it will go on a positive product update. North.
Brew feeling the pressure from his GSA bosses it would seem. Throwing in a few latin terms to keep his lies company, and getting it horribly wrong 😂, it never made it past the intern desk clearly
It wasn't Brew that lied. It was PAS. No funds have been recovered yet. Even if it was true, then going on to say 'and that demonstartes further funds can / will be recovered' may not be a lie but it is certainly disingenuous. More shining examples of people making stuff up and projecting their own behaviour onto other people just because they don't share their views.
Well funds should be in the next couple of days if you count the days mentioned in the RNS
As a result, CL17 has agreed with these specific defendants currently protected by the February 2023 court order to settle a portion of the judgment awarded to CL17. The settlement is for a total cash consideration of €700,000, to be paid in two installments, respectively within 20 and 30 days from the execution of the preliminary settlement agreement completed on 29 April 2024.
'getting it horribly wrong'
A miner spelling mistake, point still stands. As evidenced by your posts, obsessing over a fantasy that I work for some City shorting outfit. Complete fabrication but it allows you to attack me rather than counter any of the rather decent points I make.
It's irritating, and childish, and lazy but I guess if it gives you a buzz of satisfaction llewellyn then crack on. Whatever gets you through the day.
‘a miner spelling mistake’ 😂😂
Crack on with your GSA coursework now.
Avoid the latin, and focus on the english 😂.
Thank me later 👍
Hexam. An agreement is in place so unless someone breaks that agreement ….
More recently, most of those Sipiem defendants who benefited from the February 2023 court order offered CL17 a settlement, subject to, among other things, the Receiver's waiving pursuit of any possible civil and/or criminal claims against them. Such settlement would involve an insurance provider for these specific defendant……
Looks to me like a done deal….
'a miner spelling mistake'
That was clearly a bit too subtle for you.
'Looks to me like a done deal….'
Until the monies are paid it could still fall through. Not sure how efficient the Italian courts are
'In the event, however, that the Venice Court of Appeal does not set the hearing date to approve the settlement before its ruling on the appeal before it against the original Judgment, the preliminary agreement will be void'
Share price should react properly next week when money in the bank. Expect the SP to open up a good % higher on that news so no getting in cheap then!
Suthy, I'm interested in Crypto, QBT and many other things. I've chosen to post on here because it's a busy forum and I have an opinion. Instead of discussing the points I've raised, more often than not the responses seem to be focused on me and not what I've actually said.
I've never hidden the fact that I dislike BTC, or that I have serious doubts about QBT's ability to achieve the same results on the BTC network as they have in the lab.
We all have our own opinions, some on here have full confidence that QBT will achieve their goals and see the share price go stratospheric, personally I put the chances of QBT succeeding at less than 10%; But only because it'll upset too many if I said less than 1%.
Fleccy , what a load of cobblers. …. You’re here running down QBT at every twist and turn …. You’ve never ever had a positive thing to say …. Ridiculous …
Hexam , it’s no lie , moneys as good as in the bank … what’s the point in the PRN if otherwise , but as usual you just like to find the downside and fan the negativity … as per Fleccy , youve never had a decent word to say on QBT , have you ? Why invest ?
Absolutely, there is nothing like cash in the bank .
Expect much more ..
“Hexam , it’s no lie , moneys as good as in the bank”
Seems like you missed this part of the PRN (unless you’re somehow privy to the workings of the Venice Court of Appeal)?
“In the event, however, that the Venice Court of Appeal does not set the hearing date to approve the settlement before its ruling on the appeal before it against the original Judgment, the preliminary agreement will be void.”
Rest assured if they provide any proof that any of their ‘products’ actually work then I’ll be saying plenty of decent words about QBT. Until then it remains a highly speculative gamble with long odds but potentially huge rewards - and that is the simple reason why I invested. That doesn’t mean I have to fall in love with the company or read things into company announcements that aren’t there (or ignore things that are). That would be just foolish.
