Well at this rate the market will take half of it back today if it carries on knocking another 1% of double digit trades.
Not sure the upgraded broker note, northstar and fortuna news could constitute to a 17% rise here....something is at play
Jeffries have put out a note saying buy with a 720p target.
There was also small bit of news in Canada as well
Well it surely can't just be the Czech deal that popped up on the news feed here? There's no RNS and nothing on Playtech Investor relations about that...we'll be the last to know. Again.
Big jump today maybe some leaked news coming out they having come to an agreement and settled case out off court who knows but that could to the Snail business been spun off or takeover target again.I did not wait for October case have already doubled down on these
Dunno but im back in....
Takeover ?
We certainly need something to change! The sp has been in the doldrums for what, two years? A bid, a big divi payment anything to raise the profile of the company.
It shows as 14th on HL but the company website financial calendar gives the date as 27th March.
Weren't they supposed to be out yesterday?
Page spread in I.C. this week re Playtech, appears positive over various scenarios that may playout.
The 8 analysts 12 month price targets for Playtech PLC have a median target of 719.63, with a high estimate of 882.41 and a low estimate of 616.83. The median estimate represents a 59.99% increase from the last price of 449.80.
I'm worried here, they cancelled the fy results date ages ago and have yet to rearrange.
Why does that take so long
Could see action here today
Falls every day at US open time or just before.
God its frustrating being invested in a market that is so lame and easily influenced by the fecking yanks.
Wiped all our gains off in an hour thanks the them.
Smells a bit fishy to me, no January TU like last year, and the FY results date changed from 13th March to TBC on their calendar.
Analysts expected to be at the Gee Gee's so delayed by a few days. New date expected shortly.
Sorry yeah was down as 13th.
I emailed them a few days ago as was half expecting a TU on Thursday just gone but no reply.
I had it down as 14/3/24 but anyway it is indeed now showing as TBC. I emailed IR but whether they will reply is as usual who knows...
Hmmmm
On their website the date under the financial calendar was listed as March 24th, however as of Friday this has been changed to TBC.
This is a bit worrying maybe.
Anyone expecting one today?
Have to say their IR / communication with shareholders/ market is awful.
Just jumped into the ShareChat on LSE and couldn't resist chiming in on the dynamic world of Playtech and the gaming industry. As we navigate the market trends, it's always intriguing to explore the broader landscape of entertainment and gaming. Speaking of which, I stumbled upon this gem – a captivating list of the top 5 casinos in Milanat https://www.mitomorrow.it/vivimi/i-top-5-casino-di-milano/ , considering Playtech's influence in the gaming sector, it got me thinking about the symbiotic relationship between gaming companies and the broader entertainment scene. Milan, known for its sophistication and flair, brings a unique twist to the gaming experience. How do you reckon the gaming industry, especially companies like Playtech, might leverage or be influenced by the thriving casino culture in places like Milan?
I do find it interesting that 888 has surged on the bid talk lately put playtech actually remains arguably more of a target and is significantly undervalued itself:
