Yes it is early, and likewise for me JohnZ I would need to leave home around 7am for comfort. I would be interested to know if anyone from here is going, as would consider it subject to other commitments on or nearer the day.
news before the 21st March - Progress Report maybe?...
Will need to leave about 7:00AM if I was going????
badasah Perhaps open two joint accounts, one each: You/Her & Her/You if there is no combined ISA opinion available!?.... Total cost if not funded by trading credits is 25p a day for each account
I think that is good piece of information about adding the partner - Thanks. I am not sure how it will work for ISA though as we both hold individual ISA accounts with iii. I will get in touch with ii to get more information.
Hopefully Prox are fully aware of other projects around the world. I would imagine they are, but might be worth sending Mark Slade the article!
Unacast raised $17.5 million in a new funding led by a number of new investors including Telia. Big vote of confidence in the sector. It all depends how we look at it but Barclays and Peel Hunt might be accidental investors here.
Interesting read suratosa!
badshah Sorry to hear that. I can only speak as I find, and have found them to be excellent. I opened my account with iii in April (just checked back) because of changes to the CASS by the FCA rules which changed my account status. The opening takes minutes and the complete process actually took about 5 weeks, much of which was due to ADMSI dragging their feet. Within weeks I opened a joint account adding my wife because I realised for her there was 'No Legal' or Beneficial Entitlement to the 'Assets' and limitations with regard to Third Party Authorisation. In a word: If I dropped dead she previously would have had no easy access to my account or the funds within. Now she can access the account and book a cruise without breaking a sweat! Worth knowing imo if you have family that one day might need access to your account.
Telia invests in Norwegian location data services provider Unacast Thursday 15 February 2018 | 12:50 CET | News Telia Company said it is investing in Norwegian start-up company Unacast, which provides contextualised location data. Together, they will offer advanced data services in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Unacast was co-founded three years ago by CEO Thomas Walle and COO Kjartan Slette, who were part of the team that started Tidal before Beyonce Knowles' husband, rapper Jay Z, bought the music streaming service in 2015. Telia said Unacast uses data to enable companies in various sectors to understand human activity in the "real" world, while maintaining user privacy. In 2017, Telia launched Crowd Insights to enable data-driven improvements to services such as buses, or for event organisers to find out where customers travel from, so they can improve transport connections and even venue choices. Crowd Insights uses aggregated and anonymised mobile network data. Through their partnership, Telia can combine Unacast's insights into the connections between people and places with Telia's insights into outdoor behaviour. For retailers this can mean smarter store locations and layout, more relevant advertising and even tailored opening hours. It could lead to better town planning such as pedestrian-only streets, bicycle lanes, public toilet provision, parks, lighting and other services.
aerial - iii would charge 22.50 each quarter which can be used as trading fee. But as I am long term investor and not trading frequently, it doesn't appear appealing. Hence looking to move to iWeb. I asked iii today about the transfer out and apparently it takes about 8 weeks currently!! I was not happy with them today as they didn't fill one of my sell orders - their excuse was that the price was above my limit for few seconds only even thoguh couple of other bigger trades were executed :(
I'm ok thanks, still sitting on a 7k loss but hey ho...
Too much control IMO ,manipulate sp @ will ,one thing for sure they won't let many others profit bar themselves ..
Rinse and repeat chaps. 10% up, 10% down. Pretty basic That's what they're doing. I'm pretty certain PEEL will be privy to news before the market to cushion any future losses or letters of intent. Just my opinion of course.
How are we, The remains i had from here put it in imm and made up my losses at the time
A takeover, or the hint of a takeover would show real positivity to the invested, and it would certainly put the price up in the interim. Personally (pure un-based opinion) I can't see that happing from the current company status as we understand it,.....but never say never! I'll be happy with the slightest snippet of fresh news/information if it moves us forward.
Do we know whether they are lining up for a take over or are they acting on behalf of a client?
They’ve been doing this rinse and repeat for months.
Are you still in JohnZ?..
seem to be using PROX as a cash machine, buying low and selling on the rise?????
Hopefully some interest/informative news to come!
:)
My point Ken!
I'm pretty sure Peel Hunt know what they're doing
Cashking Peel Hunt propping us up? I think you are right! Begs the question why? Perhaps they know something that we don't, or can see the potential, or have they just decide to throw money away?...... I'll take propping us up all day, thank you very much! :)
