I checked my iii account and I have made one quarterly payment of 22.50, but knew nothing about it. I think the charge was offset by trade credits or something. This must be a new charge as when I joined last year the account was definitely free if you maintained a balance of over 15k
Yes yes PH can't wait to take part in full in incoming placing.
Propping it up ,more like !
Nice to see Peel Hunt increasing.
As I understand it, iii make a quarterly charge but this is set against your trades, and as aerial says, the commission drops if you trade frequently. So, its good for the active investor / trader, not so much if you don't touch your portfolio for months on end. One nice thing about iii is how easy it is to arrange a proxy vote or a letter or representation, nearly as good as having the shares in your own name.
According to my calculations running cost for 2018 would be £1.9 m.
(2018) around the 2.4 million mark , so around the 200k a month .
I've been with iii since sometime last year May/June (3 Quaters) I think, and have never incurred any charges. Trades are 10 and can be 6 if you trade enough. My old Broker ADMSI charged 40 per trades, so I'm very happy with a tenner!!
iii charge £20 a quarter though. It actually works out pricy... used to be free! With a couple of quid a trade.. no such luck now.
I have account with both and iweb is great/cheaper for occasional traders like me as they only charge £5 per trade. iii charge £10 this charge can be lowered if you start doing regular trades 6+ Monthly I think? The price etc.... they both offer are always same every time I have checked. GL.....
I got moved to iii from shareprice recently but I dont like their pricing strategy considering I am not a frequent trader. I am looking to move my ISA account to iWeb. I dont know how good / bad is that, but pricing is reasonable and it is part of halifax. http://www.iweb-sharedealing.co.uk/share-dealing-home.asp
TrickyNic I moved my trading account from ADM Investor Services Inc to iii iii are so much better and cheaper. Now it's possible to fund my account and make a trade in 30 seconds. No more negotiated trades or 3 way telephone phone calls! http://www.iii.co.uk
I agree tricky, tides potentially starting to turn. Slade has a 9-12 month runway (pure guess admittedly there) to get the bottom line sorted.
Up on the Bid
Hi Wheeler1, would add a few more if I knew how to access my Barclays Stockbroker Account...
hi Nic Long time since we have spoken. Hope you are right, think now is time for news. Fingers X.
Nice to see the slightest glimpse of positivity coming back.
In my opinion and we are now in a better place than we were 6 months ago, long mat it continue...
fleshheart I think it's fair to say that things have changed some since then, and currently in-one-hit 12.75k is quite a buy if it's just a punt out of the blue. Begs the question why today?...
Interesting because we used to see big buys like that all the time! Dont think anything can be interpreted from it as to some people thats just loose change!
Based on last buy/sell L2 0.023 to 0.025 mms seem to be dealing within range,..which is very unusual imo
mms raise the Ask...
New part time CFO maybe :)
24,750.00 Not the biggest trade, but pretty big considering this stock is on the floor. Very interesting imho
Hopefully a profit,.....err I mean prophet!
