Let's hope the cash isn't recycled into more deadbeat tiddlers
Yes whilst the investment policy gives scope for investments in a wide range of sectors and technologies their recent focus seems to have been on green power generation, the returns for which recently have been very poor.
There is plenty of tech out there, which is doing well.
Take SND - UK high end chip design and manufacture - market cap - £10M. About to run out of cash, hence the knock down price, but if PRIM were to supply some cash and the company was rescued, on suitable terms, then the sky could be the limit, think ARM, NVIDIA.
Cash of at least £5.5M could give PRIM serious leverage, if used correctly.
Rupert has been made aware of SND
There is also a substantial investment in engage
I wonder if that is making any progress
Prim also has Fresho where a floatation event may happen in due course which will be worth several million to Prim. Getting funds from Payapps has come at a very crucial time for existing shareholders and I'm surprised the SP isn't much higher. Rupert who owns approx 24% of Prim ( which dwarfs my nearly 3%) plus completed a capital reorganisation of the shares think that is important here for some of the funds. Will we see some share buybacks? Anyone know why it may be important?
Remember on this one we still have an investment in the remaining part of Payapps which will be sold. We also have several million in Fresho which is a sucessful company we have 1 mill in ALTE which is in the middme of a RTO, plus Engage etc etc etc
I,m confident that Rupert will do his best for shareholders just hope any investments are near term or a special situation.
Good luck all.
No reaction as yet to the award of management options in CPH2, at various prices but mostly the vast majority dependent on a share price of between 60p to 80p.
Current price around 10p, PRIM sitting on a big loss atm, but indicative of a direction of travel, perhaps.
PRIM remains unknown and unloved outside of a select few.
Hopefully that might change.
It looks like someone (possibly several people) went on a bit of a spending spree in the last hour of trading on Friday.
See what transpires Monday, if anything.

37.5% - huge. Hopefully it'll open at a more reasonable level. If it remains it could put investors off. Those of us who have sat patiently on Prim know that there is still potential for it to double again but for a new investor to know it's got to go up by nearly 40% once broker fees are paid just to break even might be of putting. If the spread goes back to 10% l will be topping up as quickly as I can. New car time!!!
Scam market makers. They’re the only winners!
Despite the share price having almost doubled in the last few weeks Mr Ball still sees these as worth buying.
Corporate action coming soon?
SND still require cash and pretty soon too.
I wonder if Mr ball is associated with any other parties
If memory serves me
Alistair Clayton had a personal holding of 1.4 %
In payapps nice pay day
