As a guy with a smallish position here and a very large one AMER, I couldn’t agree more AParky.
I doubt the messages on this board ever reach Mr Levine, but....keep the faith, Peter; many of us believe strongly in you!
shocking fall for this s/p again today.. a few months back I decided to follow this all the way down and so have been topping up regularly into this ongoing demolition.. added another 50,000 shares just now and would continue to add clips of 50,000 every .3p this goes down from here..
how low can it go? no idea and I didn't think 3p in truth ( zero seems extremely unlikely, in fairness ) ( I have 200,000 of these now with an average price in mid 4'sp.. May well get my average decently into 3's at this rate .. and just hope at some point it comes back from such awful levels. even with very bad possible awful Argentina macro unfold, 3p seems very harsh here imho .. but it is what it is and can of course go lower.. sadly.. but it can rise too of course and very hopefully
Apologies for the last post being a bit jumbled
Kld1, AParky- Agree with both of you.
Vaca Muerta Law sounds like it would be a game changer if passed. Interesting in Argentina is that the Provinces control the Oil & Gas operating rights, so VM could pass a law that would insulate VM from any negative impacts that Argentine Gov laws might have.
Brasso- 7000BOPD was the target by now. All the factors that could help make up the 7000BOPD are still in play and it still can be achieved. I'd say that I wouldn't bet my house on it though, but that's more of an expression, and I pretty much have!! Haha!
Spot on
Agree with you Kid1 especially the your comment on Peter Levine, some people tend to have short memories.
How many oil companies on aim have a leader with so much skin in the game and has a lot more to lose than any of us. Every share he owns is paid for un way or another, again compare that to the likes of Giles Clark and Nick Harrison over at Amer where they can let the company go at a price that stiffs most of their retail investors and still make a killing them selves because they continually gifted themselves free shares over the years .
Yes things haven't always gone to plan but the hell, who the hell said it was easy.
At the moment I feel there is one major factor which may make a huge difference to our position going forward
The supposed VACA MUERTA LAW touted by Guillermo Nielsen.
Can VM be developed so as to give Argentina $$$$$$ to pay off debt. The consensus is yes
To do this Argentina needs to ring fence the Oil and gas industry, a level playing field and no moving the goal posts. This needs to be written into law for anyone to show interest
If it is then it takes away almost all the geo-political risk
Then the super majors come with billions of dollars
The 2 billion pipeline will get funding as will
the 5 billion LNG terminal
A lot has been learnt in the fracturing business in the States in the last 10 years. NOT MUCH MONEY HAS BEEN MADE ( actually 250 billion has been blown. However the majors are moving in as they believe they can now make it profitable.
I am lead to believe the quality of geology in VM is better than in the States
So all you want for Christmas is this LAW to be implemented.
Brasso you're going to make yourself ill if you carry on like this!
You have a break even of probably just over 8 pence
It will not take much for the stock to get to that level
Consider how many other investors are sitting here with breakevens at 20 pence plus.
YOU MAY NOT FEEL IT"S THE CASE BUT WE ARE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE PETER LEVINE AS A CHAIRMAN AND MAJOR INVESTOR
He"s down £50m
