Moneybags1...now you have really tempted me to say what is really on my mind. Firstly the thought of GH coming on board is pure guesswork on my part.
Secondly i had promised other posters that i would 'calm down' somewhat due to my over-the-top postings and also being critical and disrespectful to other posters ( not true except if they are definite proven trolls).
So....I had been invested in Ggp since around 2008 on and off due to the heavy trolling there. Hence my averse reaction to trolls.
I got to know the stock quite well. l no longer hold them and sold the remainder of my shares when GH stepped down earlier this year to pursue other ventures. He is however still involved to a lesser degree.
As i had always kept an eye on the investments PJ
was making and i simply followed the money. It occured to me that maybe Paul Johnson and Gervaise Heddle could be working together behind the scenes to get POW fast-tracked to another JV / buyout similar to Newcrest Jv with Havieron.
Look at the knowledge PJ has gained legally to put to work on a new venture where prior surveys had already been done years ago!
I don"t know how this would sit with Newcrest but it looks to me highly probable that PJ had been given the nod and assistance with GGP.
IF i am right this 'new" appointee could be announced pretty soon.
If i am totally off the track...so what, PJ has already said someone big is coming on board.. ?
Does it really matter WHO?

"Someone else is coming soon that’s going to add major value to our organisation from an operational management perspective"
I have to admit I missed that on the first read, but it certainly is an interesting little tease. I think a lot of us feel PJ is being spread a little thin, and some help would be reassuring ....... the thought of Gervais Heddle .... now that really would be interesting
30% of Wallal minerisation runs into Rio. When the tenement parcels were first assigned no one really knew what was there. Since then iy has been shown thru seismic surveys that all the gold/copper anomalies do in fact run into adjacent plots. This was also known at the time of the Havieron and Scallywag oroginal surveys. Thid does not mean that their could be problems, rather that anything found by other majors in the vacinity of our tenements would bode well for us.
Borders DO NOT create natural bounderies...so moning can continue by each company up to their assigned border.
The oil barons of Texas thought that adjacent oil fields occupied by their neighbours were drawing off oil that each baron thought was theirs. So this set off a rush to install as many derricks as possible simply to get the oil before your neighbour does. Most of the barons began as ranchers until oil was found 130yrs ago. In thrir heyday many had dozens of nodding donkeys and drilling rigs on their ranched while cattle still roamed around. Thid eventually led to most wells being pumped dry.
The boundaries in mining simply stops at the line on the tenement boundary as drawn on the surveyers maps. Any worthwhile discoveries found closest to the borders can have a dramatic effect on the share price of the next adjacent minng op if they share the same continuous rock strata mineralisation, which may continue for many miles

"Someone else is coming soon that’s going to add major value to our organisation from an operational management perspective. It’s fabulous. I think we’re building something amazing.”
I wonder who this 'someone' could be?
If you have read thru this article thoroughly you would have noted PJ's connections to Greatland Gold. Speculation will abound. Gervaise Heddle recently stepped down as Ceo of Ggp. Or could it be a member of the BoD from Rio Tinto or maybe Newmont, Newcrest or BHP ??
All have interests on the Paterson and Pilbara region. The guessing is pure speculation but my guess PJ will maintain his ties with Ggp as a long term strategy to expand further if Newcrest buys out Havieron and other projects. The whole region is one giant chess board. I want to be part of the action and fun as this game plays out.
In the words of PJ......
"As for comparing Power’s Australian Wallal Project to Greatland Gold’s Havieron project, Johnson says that some investors should stop being sensitive and proprietorial because geology is geology and if there are similarities between two company’s projects, then so be it, but he is making the comparison from a position of intimacy. He was on the board of Greatland Gold at the time Havieron was the subject of a breakfast board review and then “People were more interested in their bacon sandwiches.”
Something big is unfolding....this is real and i hope we all hang around long enough to see this through to the end.

We are not normal. We’re going for a big scale organisation with huge levels of activity,” and then Johnson gets emotional. “We’ve got an amazing team. Someone else is coming soon that’s going to add major value to our organisation from an operational management perspective. It’s fabulous. I think we’re building something amazing.”
Johnson certainly hopes that’s the case because fully diluted he holds 9% of the stock.
In this podcast with Sarah Lowther, Paul reinforces the message that what he’s creating is a ‘beyond incredible’ global project. He says it has never been done before on this scale in London and suspects it will never be done again and that’s before he started talking about the lithium in Canada.

Power Metals don’t look, buy, curate, says Johnson. “We don’t adopt the usual junior mantra of picking up a project just because it’s popular and then just leaving it there and hoping the market likes it and buys our stock. If we go into something we’re looking to build a strategic business out of it.”
Away from Canada,“everything is happening” at the company’s Tati project in Botswana including prospecting, mapping and sampling which has resulted in multi-kilometre, multiple anomalies for nickel, arsenic and some ‘fantastic’ gold in soils. “Right now the team are in the field doing geophysics. By the end of the month we’ll be drilling with reverse circulation drilling some of the key targets there.”
“In my experience it’s the fastest exploration programme I’ve ever seen from acquisition through to drilling key targets. What can it reveal? We are hopelessly optimistic. We love the Tati project and we think it’s one of those great opportunities, but until we put the drill holes in we won’t really know.”
Johnson adds the mischievous caveat by deliberately using an over-used corporate cliché. “Yes the team are excited.”
As for comparing Power’s Australian Wallal Project to Greatland Gold’s Havieron project, Johnson says that some investors should stop being sensitive and proprietorial because geology is geology and if there are similarities between two company’s projects, then so be it, but he is making the comparison from a position of intimacy. He was on the board of Greatland Gold at the time Havieron was the subject of a breakfast board review and then “People were more interested in their bacon sandwiches.”
How things have changed over the past five years. “Little did we know what a monster that would become,” says Johnson. “You have to forgive me for daring to dream that we may have something similar in the Patterson project that we have with FDR – First Development Resources.”
He then unashamedly borrows that analogy by telling investors that he’s building Power Metal Resources into its own ‘monster.’
It will take cash as well as being canny to create that monster, and Johnson is doing that by spinning out projects into their own listed vehicles so he doesn’t have to come to market cap in hand.
“We’re at 14 months since the last financing. By doing these spin outs and creating the value now, I’m effectively providing the finance for a much larger business with much larger cash demands in the future as the exploration side of the business delivers a number of successes.”
“We are not normal. We’re going for a big scale organisation with huge levels of activity,” and then Johnson gets emotional. “We’ve got an amazing team. Someone else is coming soon that’s going to add major value to our organisation from an operational management perspective. It’s fabulous.
I found the script vrry faint and difficult to read. (weak eyes)...
So i copied some of it here.
…We are creating a monster as the exploration side of the business delivers a number of successes…”
The first thing that Paul Johnson clarifies in this interview is that his company Power Metal Resources is reviewing uranium opportunities on an ongoing basis.
North America, Africa and Australia are all being scoured for ‘yellowcake’ opportunities, and at speed, particularly as the investor community on social media platform Reddit have been using their collective buying power to push up the prices of uranium-related stocks. Take Aura Energy for example which has seen an over 200% appreciation in its stock over the past month.
So, Power’s ‘first gambit’ is the Athabasca Basin in Canada where it’s staked a claim in four 100% owned uranium exploration properties. Johnson describes Athabasca as an established uranium jurisdiction where many junior explorers have been working for some time. In fact Johnson had dabbled in this space during the noughties when he was at the helm of Metal Tiger. Timing is everything, and Johnson in his own words says ‘then’ was about six years too early. But now in 2021, this investment in Saskatchewan is just about right in terms of right place, right time and the licences are “very prospective.”
“It’s not pure moose pasture,” says Johnson citing historic evidential data which means Power is not starting Athabasca from zero, but from the position of indentified intelligence allowing the company to expedite its typical approach to work programmes which is to “crack on” particularly when work windows are condensed due to inclement very, very cold weather.
“Way back in the noughties, major, major deals were being done and great fortunes were made among some of the well-known British investors from the uranium space.” Can it happen again muses Johnson? “Well it kind of looks like it can, and it probably will to be honest, so it’s important to be part of that process.”
Did Power overpay for the licences? It depends on whether you think $7000 Canadian dollars for the cost of registration fees for licence claims is fair value. Johnson thinks it is. “It’s a very modest cost of entry. No encumbrances because we’re not acquiring someone else’s package with a royalty attached to it. So, it’s a fresh 100% owned interest for Power and it’s our starter for ten.” Johnson repeats the company is “looking at various other things at the moment.”
For some reason worzel it goes to a 19min vid on rare earth mining , however if you click on stockpot and then view vods you can see the one your on about above at 13 mins long.
Bit of a pain to fikd but was worth the listen , thumbs up
Yes it,s new i think. PJ gets asked at the back end of interview. About which is his most favorite. That question has been asked before. This time he mentions 4 that he most excited about.
There's an audio bar hidden away at the bottom, before the YouTube link to stockbox, strange it's so difficult to find! Think it's a new interview, no?
Bonkers. Strange that as when i click on that link it,s about PJ interview on the 17th.
Good evening Bonkers and Worzel,
I have an inclination to agree with Bonkers on this one . It appears to be more of a generalization highlighting the smaller companies going forward.
However, I would imagine discussions are going on behind the scenes and perhaps, things may continue to move at a more accelerated pace.
Enjoy the afternoon sunshine,
Fore!!!

Worzel I don't think that link acctually talks about pow , more about small companys in the rare earth mining
Bumble....investors in POW should take the time to really research these assets that PJ has amassed. I will be going in depth on all tthe other projects but currently the Paterson is my favourite.
He is taking a leaf out of GGP's book having been a major investor and was friendly with the management and Gervaise Heddle. He has obviously gained (inside) knowledge as to the potential in this mineral rich region. Once investors reaiise this they will not be too quick to criticize Paul Johnson. I followef the money when he got busy with his enormous holdings in MTR and GGP. The guy is a genious with a shrewd missus as well. Gla
Possible perfect scenario,
Tiny thrusting explorer hits a huge seam (fingers crossed!) next door to one of the world's biggest miners.
PJ sitting back with a wry smile as the CEO of RT turns up with an open wallet!
Would be nice!

Paul Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Power Metal Resources plc commented:
"It is important to articulate clearly the work completed in the Paterson Region to date and below we provide a summation of our overall exploration rationale, current findings, and future exploration plans. I would encourage shareholders to review this information which demonstrates the reasons for our building excitement.
We have identified geological and geophysical features within our Wallal licence that bear similarities to two major and recently discovered deposits within the Paterson Region at Winu and Havieron, both of which are under development.
Whilst awaiting licence grants at the Wallal Project we have continued to advance our review of all available existing data. We are now moving to the next stage with our own work programmes to generate new data and refine target information purposed specifically for a planned deep drilling programme.
In our view there is increasing potential for a major metal discovery at the Wallal Project, and as one would expect we are pushing ahead with some enthusiasm."

I find this article interesting being close to Havieron and WINU
Something big is going on in the Paterson with majors vyeing for a piece of the action.
