Ouch! Take a look at PFC this morning.
Over expansion, overdosed on cheap debt and....
Pleased to say POS in a much safer financial position.
Is another contract award pending?
Just a hunch, no clear economic intelligence to support it but signs of life in N Sea O&G.

UK Regulator to Crack Down on Emissions From Oil and Gas Fields
While the situation in the North Sea is dire this news might encourage oil producers to use Pos Grip by Plexus.

As expected, back in profit with a personal expectation of more orders/contracts this year.
Just a matter of patience imo.
I believe the synopsis say something like:
One swallow does not a summer make but it feels like it's getting warmer so dust off your BBQ in preparation for when it arrives.
I'll stress I'm no accountant but reading that update you bloody need to be one. At first glance you think wow what a turnaround massive profits from losses, then you think why have the liabilities doubled if they are raking in the cash. To me they are still loss making but showing profits due to one off in the accounts right or wrong folks ?
Next tranche of deals coming ££
Check managements shareholding for why --- Ben is unlikely to sell for cheap or after the significant pain & hardship it went through to survive the last down-cycle...It would be silly to sell at this point of the recovery of the whole sector...
Trio of satellite craft can map hot spots of methane leaks in a battle to address the second largest accelerant to global warming, namely methane escape. Obviously there are many different sources both natural and man made. The oil industry is right up there. Presumably there will be enforcement orders if not already
News of a contract on its way?
I think 2024 will be a decent year for POS as many North Sea well heads need to be mothballed, plugged etc.
Could be availability of shares.....any enlightened person out there with knowledge of who owns the majority of shares? I suppose the company website ought to have that info.
I have a not insignicant amount of shares in plexus, mainly because I feel like it's at the bottom. However, maybe you've hit the nail on the head oogle, why hasn't a big company snapped this up? At the current market cap you would have thought it be very affordable for one of the big oil and gas companies.

I’m just amazed it didn’t get bought out . I took a reasonable stake in the last blip. Always wary of something that looks too good to be true. Having looked at the actual kit I am very impressed although nothing to compare it with, where as the well experts obviously have. The complication of recent deal and no one quite able to explain the implications made it even more intriguing and volatile. Like many of these things it’s a great idea, and it’s great that they continue to make improvements. As I said at the beginning hard to understand why a big oil service company or even one of the majors would not have snapped this up by now. I wouldn’t put my shirt on it(no names mentioned) but risk reward looks favourable under 30p even
"POS-GRIP technology helps operators to fulfill their ESG responsibillities, and Plexus has provided leak-free wellhead performance in over 400 wells."
The above is from the PLEXUS.com website landing page. The addressable market worldwide must be 10M+ oil and gas wells: 400 should be telling any potential investor all they need to know about what the industry thinks of the "money saving" technology.

Five years ago the North Sea Oil & Gas industry was doing relatively well.....since then Net Zero, 75% tax on profits and the 2020 pandemic correction. The current share price does reflect reality, some of us averaged down and are in profit, others still underwater but holding on.
Five years ago trading at ~60p. If the technology is as good and money saving, as the management have consistently claimed, Plexus would not be trading at pennies. Time for reality.

It is not a Boom! kind of RNS merely news that they are producing a potential new product in partnership with a client. I doubt the market will notice the RNS this morning but we will find out shortly.
Seems like a bit of a 'nothing' RNS to me. They need to give us the outcome and net affect for Plexus. Ie we noticed this '...' the net impact is this '...' and net affect to plexus is '...'
