I missed the 1.15, managed some @ 1.19 showing as a sell :))
Looking really cheap ATM, In @ 1.15p GLA BD
With the recent downtrend in SP I wouldn’t be surprised to see ‘drilling commences’ RNS Monday or early next week. There’s only 2 weeks left of November now and it appears to be on track. On positive results it could be a very good Christmas at PML. WD
If you include the fees etc you are basically buying on the placing price at 1.2-1.25p I can see a lot of interest at this level. Company have stated they are about to proceed with their 'program' expect when they start very soon RNS will get ramped up and so will share price. Their asset could potentially be massive and current market cap is very very low.
It defo looks cheap here now, just a question if the seller has cleared or not. If not then can't imagine they have too much to go. Still watching with interest.
Yea you might be right. Either way good news if seller has cleared. Offers a great entry.
It's just one sell that has been duplicated by LSE for some reason, must be some glitch in the software. It happens on a lot of other shares if you look + it's happened here over the last few days.
Yea you are right. I only saw the one trade but now can see two, not a sell probably an exchange.
Yup move down makes sense now. Should rise now cleared, news rich period coming.
Huge delayed sell - hopefully that’s the seller done now and clear skies ahead with plenty news flow to come
there's been a few chunky sells here the last few days, someone know something?
Another share with crazy price action. About to enter a news rich period and get sellers. It cant stay this low for long.
I understand what you are saying blue, however you can only go by the RNS’ at this stage and from today’s they seem confident. “Land owner agreements well advanced” and “the Company anticipates that it remains achievable for the drilling programme to commence ahead of the wet season in northern Australia” in the same paragraph sounds confident to me. WD
I don't doubt the drilling is fast, i was just airing concerns that there is a reasonable chance they won't manage to beat the rainy season. According to the RNS they don't have Landowner Access agreements yet either. It's a long wait til March if they don't. I have seen on the company presentation they are planning various surveys at Marengo and Copperhead but not sure if they would still go ahead in the rainy season. Don't get me wrong i am not knocking this or trying to get in lower, i'm just trying to understand what will bolster the sp if the drill does not go ahead til next year.
From today’s RNS: “In the meantime, Papua is making excellent progress towards its planned drilling at the Plateau Prospect, with the important Cultural Heritage Survey now complete and Landowner Access Agreements well advanced. Based on current weather conditions, the Company anticipates that it remains achievable for the drilling programme to commence ahead of the wet season in northern Australia and will inform shareholders once drilling operations commence." Looks to be on track to me. Also it should be noted they anticipate they can achieve one drill hole per day - so I’m expecting drilling to start very shortly and results fairly quickly after. Should be a continued news rich period for a couple of weeks
Very interested in PML, i've gone through the company presentation and the historical grades of gold and copper are very impressive across their prospects in Queensland and Papua new Guinea. The concern for me is will there be a drilling campaign ahead of the wet season in Queensland ? I contacted the new Papau twitter feed and asked the question and they were hoping to get a drill program under way asap, however it was down to when the wet season starts. Now the wet season runs from December to March in Queensland so they are defo pushing it fine. It seems a bit touch and go whether they will get anything going now as there has been no RNS about a drilling programme or anything regarding a rig mobilisation. I see the sp is cheap at 1.325p currently. If the drill is delayed though then i may be able to pick them up a little but cheaper still.
The First Equity view... "The BGM deal significantly transforms PMLs asset base, revitalising it with new exploration projects within the prolific mining district of North Queensland" "What we also particularly like is the significant investment made by both existing directors and new incoming directors in the placing totalling 267.9K, with existing directors investing 149.5K and the remaining 118.4K invested by the new directors. This shows a very strong alignment of interest with investors and monetary vote of confidence in the new strategy ahead."
As with most stocks people will start to buy when this is already well on its way to 2p. I’d much rather build a good holding at these levels and sit and wait like I have been. I suspect a matter of weeks now before drilling starts and results should be fairly quick to hit the market too. WD

Yes, it's certainly quiet and for now the herd are nowhere to be seen. Maybe the drilling RNS which can't be too far away will grab some more attention. "In the meantime, Papua is making excellent progress towards its planned drilling at the Plateau Prospect, with the important Cultural Heritage Survey now complete and Landowner Access Agreements well advanced. Based on current weather conditions, the Company anticipates that it remains achievable for the drilling programme to commence ahead of the wet season in northern Australia and will inform shareholders once drilling operations commence." https://investegate.co.uk/papua-mining-plc--pml-/rns/exploration-licence-application-at-lighthouse/201711160741586850W A good few were happy to pick up stock on the drop earlier.
https://investegate.co.uk/papua-mining-plc--pml-/rns/exploration-licence-application-at-lighthouse/201711160741586850W "Papua Mining (LON: PML), the gold and copper exploration company, is pleased to inform shareholders that it has recently applied, through its 100% owned subsidiary BGM Investments Pty Ltd, for a new strategic and highly-prospective exploration licence (EPM 26705) immediately adjacent to its 100% owned Lighthouse Gold Project (the "Lighthouse Project") in Queensland, Australia." and "Based on current weather conditions, the Company anticipates that it remains achievable for the drilling programme to commence ahead of the wet season in northern Australia and will inform shareholders once drilling operations commence." So drilling program likely to start before the wet season.
