G'day riddler, are you calling the bottom here or agreeing with the charts? http://quote.barchart.com/texpert.asp?sym=PIM.LS&code=BSTK
holding up well today when many others are dropping by the minute it seems! My watchlist is covered in red, but only a few drops in my pf so could be a lot worse! A few small buys today, think it will need a few more days like that or an increase in buying volumes before it starts to recover, although PIM has suprised me a few times!
I was out so missed it too! Very nice for anyone who got in sub 23/24p though, still watching and waiting with a small amount of cash, so many others I would like to top-up in too though. Richtea - must be the same seller at 20p, must be desperate for the cash too! Hope we all had a good weekend.
Yes, someone sold 100k at 20p on the 20th showing on PLUS, today's trade for 109k is on LSE, I'm assuming its the same person offloading bulk.
top slicing
did someone sell a load at 20p last week or am I confusing this with another share?
Thanks for the info/help ShaunC
Agree that 109k sell is the reason for the drop.......but there were lots of buyers waiting in the wings to pick up the slack. This one has been on my watch list for a few weeks so I'm grateful that I spotted your intial post this morning that alerted me. I'm in at 21.725, a good price IMO.
big sell at 20p which was well below the bid. Could well be the same guy as last week (also at 20p). Hopefully (for those already in) he just had to sell, and he's all finished now, but he may have more to offload. Complete speculation on my part.
23p - hope it does not go bust now! ShaunC DYORamping(TM)
either - bad news on way or MMs spilt coffee on his keyboard
can't see any reason for this drop. No trades on PLUS and nothing to justify this drop on LSE. Not in here yet but puzzled
at 25.5 if that helps shaunc
Any ideas what all the mid price trades have been today? Unusual to have such a narrow spread and at the same time be so far adrift of PLUS. Looks like they have decided not to play today.
yeah, I always get too greedy when I see a price drift down. And most of the time it becomes another "one that got away". But if I can get anything below 25p tomorrow, I'll go for it. The funds I had available today went into AST which I just noticed you bought as well. I thought there's more of a probability of news coming out with that one. But PIM is one my list for tomorrow. Probably have to sell LAM to buy them.
just seen the 25.75p trade on here, and the bid moved up to 25p, so its possible that it has found support?
where is the support if current c.26p is broken? Looks like 1 buyer got in at 25p this morning on plus, and a few at 25.25p on here, still waiting to see where it is going, but dont expect it to stabilize, more likely bottom and sharp rebound, would like to know when that might happen, as I' sure we all would! GLA
I said I would buy in sub 26 and we might even be there now, but looking at the charts, with my half-trained eye, it looks like it's saying wait. the three-month bollinger has gone beneath the lower line (and the bollys are sloping downward which i think is also negative). I also don't like the look of the 9-day SMA on the 3 month SMA. The RSI and Stochs also don't inspire confidence at the moment. Hopefully Riddler can confirm my musings tonight. Obviously like this company - just looking for the best entry point
I agree that MMs have been walking the SP down, and that good news must be due soon so I will need to secure my holding before too long! Would love to get some at 25p, but doesn't look that likely, will see how it goes. ATB mate
looking to top up if this goes lower GL and thanks to ur usual sterling efforts ShaunC
hmmm I regretted not buying last time the ask was continuously dropping, could have got sub 20p! I do share reggieP's concerns however at the dumping that seems to persist every now and then, and the lack of interest from funds and Institutions, which I fail to understand. The fact that the MMs were only willing to pay 20p for the 100k shares today is worrying that the seller was desperate enough to accept it. MM's may be tempted to drop the ask further to entice the buyers, as they will be making a profit at anything above 20p. Will wait and see how the market reacts tomorrow..... Having said all that, I do think this is a very promising company with some exceptional products, and the limited number of available shares means there is no point waiting for news to buy, as you will pay a premium to any previous price. I did think I would buy if it went sub 30p again, but have been busy researching and buying into other shares recently. Definately want to secure a holding here at some point though!
I also noticed the ask seems to be edging down but if ithink if i can buy at under 26p, I'll go for it. GL
saw the good news, have the 11th Feb in my diary. Some good buying pressure today, but the ask still seems to be coming down! Must be due to the 100k sell on plus at 20p! Still keeping a close eye on this though! Have you looked at TMMG at all? Check the BB for some great research! Hope you are well mate
back in today 29p! can u move it upwards now LOL ShaunC
In reality, the bolinger has turned upwards because of the expectation that the sp will turn upwards at or around the break point. Problem with that is this share has little liquidity and could continue downwards if support weakens. The selling in chunks at every recent opportunity is either a large individual holder or institutional, so I would be more cautious. What is needed is more interest from funds, and as yet there is no sign of it.
