(responding to @persimmon's post): From the RNS of 6th May: "the Company intends now to release its Preliminary results by the end of June. Confirmation of the exact reporting date will be provided nearer the time"; on the company's Investor Relations section calendar "End of June 2020 - exact date to be confirmed".
Dogger me too paid £'s I now refuse to sell until I get a dividend (sheer bloody mindedness now !!!!!)
I hear you Dogger , I think we all have done the same with a particular stock ( become fixated ) I also had to learn that the hard way .
dogger....I remember buying into PFD many many years ago at about 5 pence. I was 'lucky and sold at I think about 15 or 16p (a multi baggy) Very shortly afterwards there was a consolidation. Got out just in time as afterwards it fell like a stone.
It seems I have been lucky twice here as at present it has just doubled since my buy earlier in the year.
On the flip side one or two of my others are not doing as well, but that's the game in a 'nutshell'.
It might be a new high for you......I have been here since the days of £3 !!
Smells like Results date may be imminent.
We are in a good place and unlike some other stocks ( mars , sig , cost ) pfd has not
had to raise extra finance to get through the covid downturn ) it will emerge a much
stronger business !?
New high ....
woohoo I can stop now gorging on mr kiplings cakes & finally go on a diet. This is my best performing stock in my PF never thought i would ever say that !
Thanks for keeping me sain with this stock. i think it will be a very good month.
Goodness what's going on here, are we going to hit 50p soon if we do it must be the first time at 50p since the rights issue about 5 years ago.
Maybe there is some very good news coming and someone knows what it is.
Could it be a bid of 80p
Still rising. Reckon there's a special dividend coming our way once results announced and pensions sorted. Hang on to your hats
Nearly choked on my slice Battenberg when I read that.
Looks like a move in the 50's
PFD Premier Foods..........

Someone actually selling at this s.p................Unbelievable !!
I hope your right, I bought in at top price, just under 47p, about six weeks ago??
When they issue the next RNS and full years numbers I can see this going up to 60p - 80p if everything does come out to be ok with growing sales and profits.
Why the lower buy price ? I would think the price would i crease. Is it the sheer volume ? Also, do we expect an increase as a result in volume. Im waiting for the results anyway, but i would have expected anprice rise, rather than decrease for the colume bought. Ive obviously not learnt much over the years.
looks like buys to me....has someone been given the nod before the finals?
!msn - do you know from L2 if the approx 6.5m share 'buys' late today really were buys?
So thats 20 million shares traded in the last 3 weeks managed from 43.5 and 46... should have a Holding RNS soon.
Sorry, wrong tag name
Thanks for this info, ,makes more sense now. Its up again to 45.20, so i expect the drop to 44 again.....maybe
