Pernix, their plans for using cash are very clear in the RNS, they're using it to pay down debt.
Lucky: Anything can happen with shares prices at the moment. I don't know what to do either, Buy What? At What price? PFD went down to 104 this morning and not sure that is lower enough for me to buy. It may even swing higher sometime in the coming weeks. Just nobody knows. Sitting on a big pile of cash for now. Even that Boo share is down another 4% today (324). Re: PFD RNS - Uncertainty about a Dividend and how to use their huge cash pile is quite negative as they don't even have a clue about way forward, negative here.
Here we go again, probably 5% down at close! You can set your clock to it.....
I wish i had done the same yesterday morning but congrats on your strategy. I am sure there will now be some chances to buy back in . Green eyed monster here !
PFD share price needs to drop more. Before buyers think its worth buying again. Me & Dans23 got out as we saw this coming. I sold 100% of my holdings yesterday. I had loads of these PFD shares. This market is heading down as I said yesterday. AO.com was down 7% down just now and its results today were really good.
Spoke too soon.
Well another great set of results, now I want pfd to follow it's normal track for the last 5 years and the sp go down after a good rns so I can buy more at a lower price, but will it?
irrelevant now it looks like we are going to lose ground today no new 52 wk high today for sure . I think SP would struggle with a takeover bid even in this climate. You know what they say you got to know when to hold them know when to fold them & know when to walk away ! I think a hold em scenario today !
After that update it opens at £1.10 and I think we all expect it to close down on the day "again following a great update", I must go kick the dog.
Go to www.premier foods.co.uk it’s on there
You should not be investing if you dont know where to look for an RNS.
Very impressive results and quite some turnaround within 12 months. This will attract new investors with little sign of current trading being curtailed anytime soon.
Can i ask a question can any of you on this BB pick up the trading update in the above News live rns folder above?
Wow. sales as expected really but it's the negatives the city want to see some movement on ,net debt down & at this rate may be cleared by end of 2021 maybe next announcement we may see plans for divis ,in usual times the sp would rocket with a trading announcement like this! Trigger finger ready ilooking for an out between 115-120. Good luck everyone
They will be.....eventually. Always a bit slow on here !!
ok ty, shouldn t they be on this platform under PDF live RNS?
I reckon the sp could get to £2 within a 2 years or be taken over. The business is transformed.
Rock. I get them daily by logging into london stock exchange
Brilliant update.....no justification for an SP crash....but who can tell ?
wheres the RNS please?
Another exceptional quarter of trading, now expecting Trading profit to be in the range of £145-£150m this year after increasing Q4 marketing investment
• Q3 Group sales up +9.0% and up +12.5% year to date
• Q3 Branded sales up +12.1% and +16.0% year to date
• Continuing to outperform the market, gaining volume and value share3
• Online continues to grow strongly, up +90% in Q3
• Five major brands received advertising investment over Christmas period; more to come in Q4
• International sales grew +43%4; continuing strong trajectory so far this year
• Further £40m part redemption of Floating Rate Notes due July 2022, saving further £2m p.a. interest costs
• Net debt/EBITDA5 now expected to be below 2.0x by year end
Stella set of results. No dividend yet but the possibility is mentioned. Prudently paying down more of their expensive July 22 FRNs. New international markets opening. Whats not to like?

Don't know if we'll see a decent rise or nothing tomorrow. But even allowing for the huge gains we have seen this last 9 months, I'm not fearful of any short term blips as I see this as a totally different company from the one I first invested in.
Made a decent wedge in the pre Darby days and again this year and have sights on dividends within 12 months and hopefully soon.
GLA TOMORROW
with new positive covid results dropping like a stone in all London boroughs & vaccinations now creeping up to 350k a day perhaps we may have a good day in the morning. As I said this will be an outstanding update but tough to call .
PFD no buying shares pressure today. Would have expected surge of buying at days end today. I guess folks think equity markets have peaked for a while. No doubt PFD trading results tomorrow will be wonderful but will there be any lasting share price gains or will it fall on this trading update? I'm with dan23 here. Boo shares down a lot since exceptional results last week & not recovered. Only small gains with other supermarkets like Tesco.I think larger downsides on shares market coming soon. Too fast too soon risen. Biden comes in & change a foot, S&P500 down nearly 1% today. I for one took cash off the table today and kept my profits safe.
