Vargas increased his holdings to 8.75%. Only in charge since begin this year...
Azvalor Asset Management SGIIC SA 17.43%
José Manuel Vargas 7.98%
This is for me THE reason I bought myself a nice chunk of PDL.
Big risk for breach of covenants at this pace.
Does anyone know what changed with the previous? THX

If my math is right this is now 50% down on the old money price before the last consolidation.
Look at the net debt levels vs that point and you can see why. Unless the market picks up soon this cash burning machine can get worse from here.
V.good UT trade at the end there. 40p. considering there was a 333,593 sell at 38p today I think that was a good close!
take away some of the selling pressure then theres hope this can head towards 50p. there isn't alot of resistance from here at 40p. sp is now below where it was when covid struck surely some upside potential from here..
Or big buys? It's the way you look at it!
Bottom is set imo.
Let’s just wait and see where we are in a years time who was right.
Just because someone dumped some large shares and someone purchase it doesn’t mean it’s a great buy.
Hardly a sinking ship then.
*sinking ship
I would agree. I sold out when this looked like a shipping ship - this company is not taking on water but has sunk.
I reckon in a year or two you will see a rights issue or debt to equity restructure again. Feel sorry for any shareholders who have lost money and hoping.
The management will stretch this as far as they can go.
You got to love how their RNS try to mention any positives and nothing about the negatives. Net debt spiralling again in a backdrop of weak prices and production.
Yep get ready for all time lows !! 20s is a given now the management use the company to self serve their lifestyles that's all petra is ..
There salaries are quadruple what they should be .
Weaker price outlook
Weaker production
Growing net debt
Wondering what the carrying value of the Koffiefontein mine was before it was put on care and maintenance?
As if the sale of the mine goes through, as the management mentioned that terms had been agreed. This would be beneficial for the company due to the removal of the care and maintenance costs as well as the proceeds being used to invest in mine expansion and paying down the company's debt.
Starting to look scary again!
I was referring to the posters that came on when the stock was in the low 40s advising holders to take a short position
Up almost 6% today.
There are no shorters listed, the mm's have let 20% of the rise slip and upped the offer price a couple of pence today.
They are now low on stock imo.

Nice to see this spring back into life, if only briefly. May actually buy a few more as B’day gift to someone who likes diamonds !
So are the short contracts due to expire, or is this just a bit of post - Christmas nonsense? Not posted on here before but have been a holder of this share for years, lost my shirt on it, but still can't help keeping an eye on it - maybe that is the power of gem stones? Still with what residual shareholding I have I know which direction I prefer to see it moving. Anybody any views on future moves in the sp?
I hope not to many where sucked in by the shorters a few weeks back.
UT trade. 38.70 mmmmmmmm
