Two more months to end H1. Will Paragon get IRB as expected?
MTRO Metro Bank had its IRB application delayed again last year, after years of waiting, the regulator seems reluctant to give its approvals to specialist lenders. will we see Paragon gets it H1 this year as expected?
what about OSB?
IRB is the big catalyst
Awaiting IRB .
Paragon PAG will be the first one among specialist lenders (PAG, OSB, MTRO) to get IRB. It will make it more competitive
The trend is starting to look good for specialist lenders
2x PBV valuation?
Will Paragon get IRB ? If it does, could PAG gets 1.5 - 2 x PBV valuation?
The cheaper the stock the better for shareholders as buybacks continue
RNS. Share buybacks
Share buybacks. it makes sense for specialist lenders OSB, PAG, MTRO
If paragon gets IRB as expected H1 2024, it means their capital requirements will decrease. This will be the catalyst of the year
Valuation will increase if gets IRB this year.
specialist lenders OSB and MTRO may also benefit
Will Paragon get IRB soon? I read somewhere it’s supposed to be H1 2024. anybody has opinions on this?
Yeah, it had already arrived this AM when I checked. Shall see if the price rises at all as people's DRIPs kick in.
Anybody recieved divi yet, a superb price today to reinvest.
Wow not liked at minute yet there printing profits, and lots of it, banks look out of favour, this is not a £6.50 share, I've bought a further 18000 low 640s.
675p,and I'm buying a new shotgun, only need 25p profit per share had my eye on a new pheasant gun, £4,800,skimming of top to pay, I love free stuff.
640s shocking, as before there lending extra 30 mn a month, buy to let, 14% interest wow n ouch but buyers desperate for loans ect.
A buy in my book, not advice.
Fitch reaffirms paragons BBB+ Rating siting, very stable outlook.
This should be in £7 range the 1.32% short increase is wild, £8.50 target, UK lse is nothing short of MMs skullduggery.
Can't see why shorters playing games here, they increased, PAG stated there ahead of figures, buy to let's in demand, plenty in banstrange onek, debts covered with a strong line of credit, good divi.
Hmmmm
Thanks - I keep holding and wondering why the sudden drop in price despite all the good things.
Shorts increased to 1.32%
Superb growth, company advised, ahead of figures, pumping extra 30mn a month in to buy to let demand, and milking millions profits.
Bide your time here, good things ahead, don't be surprised if a approach offer comes, anytime, 1.5bn is nothing for book value and future earnings I've added again,
Anyone know if the company is exposed to the car finance mis selling issue- is it the dealers or the companies ? I am thinking of investing here.
RBC CAPITAL upgrades from £7 to £8.50
Stating we have underappreciated the quality of PAG.
It's a buy in my book.
PAG, was late in joining in the sector uptrend, however if PAG, can overcome overhead supply from previous trading, leading up to 609, then there is no price resistance, beyond that point. Fast movement is currently confirmed by the two Bollinger bands separating. If the lower bollinger band begins to rise, instead of falling , there would probably be a price retracement beginning.
