So far, only 9 holes out of 29 have been reported.
The CEO says that today’s results are encouraging enough to keep the drill rig turning, with the next phase being planned for later this year.
As Ben has pointed out, the zone where there was visible gold has yet to be reported.
Get some perspective people
good point on AGM q's Hunniford - as I said, little is ever coincidence with reporting choices of this size company
Cheers for that
Come on ORR lets start trading in the pennies.
Well at the current market cap I think a lot of bad news was priced in to this share. I do think it was a bit cheeky to put a deadline on questions for the 11th knowing this RNS was coming on the 14th. Anyone with further questions on these results should send them in.
Hopefully we see a rise in SP though as we still have gold in the ground that hopefully can be worked at a commercial level. I guess that would be on e of my questions to the BOD.
so it im going to sell my ORR and buy AMC.
Good luck all
Agree Hunniford. We’ve been here long enough we may as well get to see the full picture.
The results are poor, however gold is in the ground.
Hopefully in the other zones, there is significantly better volume.
Remember nobody posting negative comments knew any more than any one else. It’s really easy to say “I told you so”.
The bit that is disappointing from the team is the title of the RNS as it isn’t true. That is very much misleading.
Unless they got mixed up when announcing the next zone……
Anyway, strap in, certainly going to be a red day, but equally we still have 3 more zones and Fare coming soon, so would hope this isn’t a bloodbath.
GLA. 3 more zone!
I posted last week exactly what came today (in terms of lots of poor intersections). If there’s a reason to hold it would be Senala.
My mistake re AGM though.
Sensible money waits for the visible gold in Lawa. Won't be selling at a loss before I see those grades!!
It's simple really:
You either believe the legal RNS released by the company which states 'High-Grade Intersections' and the obvious excitement from the CEO's statement, OR...
You believe strangers on a bulletin board.
I know which I'm going with.
Either way, the market will decide and these are the start of a lot more results to come.
GLA
Sorry that should say NOT selling.
Well you all have a choice now the first results have come out.
You can sell up or ride it out and wait for more.
I am selling I don't profess to be an expert in the commercial viability of what has been discovered, particularly if there are any local government incentives for mining companies. However I will be holding it out and waiting on the rest of the results.
I have always seen Tim as fairly honest so if he is still excited about things then I will keep an eye optimistically open!
It’s only high grade compared to the rest of what they found, which was presumably soil
UK - the AGM is not until the 23rd June, so stop posting rammel
Ben howel - which part of my post is incorrect? You effector agree with my post as the SP of OMI did tank. And the grades and intersections were far superior. The results here are poor, there is no question about it, and whatever little money I have left it I’ll take out. If you want to hold, and you think these are good results, then best of luck to you. Just they don’t seem good to me
Jack - meaning?
IMO it's a juvenile company demonstrating juvenile behaviour by releasing them later than expected. You win some you lose some and it's a role of the dice with mining companies. Either sit it out and hope for the best from future results...or respectably appreciate it's not going to be a blue day.
Hardy - for ref to that , see how quickly they released the first hole. Results would still have come back hole by hole if delayed not 8 all at once. And funny how it’s just post the AGM !
Shortest are out this morning trying it pmsl.
Good numbers!
BenH - logic and reasoning has been absent from this BB for a while, replaced by moaning and now conspiracy theories
Exactly this so it makes his comment look hideous
Well there is gold in the ground and we are formalising the process to own it.
Under the terms of its option agreement with Bureau d'Etudes et d'Investigations Géologico-minières, Géotechniques et Géophysiques SARL ('BEIG3'), the Company has satisfied the conditions to earn a 90% interest in RMC Cameroon SARL, which owns Bibemi, the Wapouzé project (20km to the north) and three licences in Central Cameroon. The administrative process to formalise this ownership is currently underway, including the formation of a new local subsidiary company into which the licences can be transferred.
They’re releasing the results by zone - ever stop to think they had the collate the (delayed) results as and when they were received from the lab?
Value finder, that is a very inaccurate post and "it went down" is a terrible description lacking all sorts of context.
OMI's results were these back in Feb:
· High grade gold intersections - 21.6m @ 6.02g/t Au, 12.25m @ 5.39g/t Au and 4.35m @ 2.53g/t Au.
At the time, their share price had been pumped to 38p, equivalent to over 100m Canadian Dollars, more than £65m. Our MC? £12m. I appreciate the results aren't as good as theirs but they were trying to justify a MC 5x more than us.
Shut up
