The rising price forecasts to which you refer presumably make commodity based assets more valuable and therefore more expensive to buy. So increasingly less affordable for Ormonde with its declining cash reserves and low share price.
Good luck.
Er, greater demand ?!
The directors are waiving fees for now, which preserves cash as far as possible.
Maybe check out some commodity price/demand forecasts.
Why would the time be right because of rocketing commodity prices? Surely it makes doing a deal harder. The value of the acquisition target goes up, while Ormonde's cash and share price have gone down.
The current risk off environment might delay things. Then again rocketing commodity prices might mean the time is right for a good deal now.
I remain fully invested but some news around direction would be nice. Bottom draw and wait for the red dot
God knows. Seems mothballed
Been extremely quiet here for a couple of months, is the company still open?
New project in the pipeline?
thanks for your replies guys. its always nice to see some sign of life on a BB now and again.
I'm waiting patiently with high hopes.
CGNR (Irish gold) where ORM's CEO Brendan McMorrow is a NED, seems to be going well as a project. Hopefully ORM can get stuck into a decent project too.
People getting fed up and bailing, can't blame them
be good to understand their current thinking asset / investment criteria. TA must know comms are key in this game. I'm confident that when the cat is out of the bag we will get a strong rise. This has had bugger all volumes for months and is certainly not a crowded trade
Hard to know . . . should be an RNS sometime soon hopefully by the end of Q1 with what the plan is going to be. An RTO (mentioned previously) is certainly on the cards but it all depends now really on what Tom Anderson's plan is. Cash more or less equates to the current market cap, assets on the books valued at 2m potential for sale (but hard to know if will be realised plus have tax losses etc. also which may provide further value. Cash burn should be very low with Directors taking shares /options rather than wages now. Tme will tell hopefully some value to be there for long suffering shareholders.
can anyone please briefly summarise the path forward for Ormonde? I'm not hearing any chatter around this share and I can't find much to go at on the internet either. Thanks.
Simple - use shareholder money to support his other, private companies and investments…
I think its time to reveal his plans to take this company forward
Games
1 sell and 10% down .
WTF
Agree, we should get an update Q1. Even if is a just a more focused statement of intent. However I think we could be in an RTO position Q1
TA sees value at current prices, thats good enough for me
SP might creep up now on speculative buying, a bit of hope/expectation building maybe? The new bod have been in since Sept, and we might get an update soon?
I think imminent. TA used last year to clean out old Board, then appoint his own board and then increased his stake on Christmas Eve. Ducks are lined up so not long to wait I reckon.
This could go up my many multiples. My issue is when which we do not know....
Watch this comfortably multi bag in a controlled manner this year. TA has been waiting patiently to install his new Board and now that’s been achieved the big asset will be next.
£3m cash in bank and TA in total control of what asset is going in here.
Let's ve realistic. Time will tell. It could take some time....definitely hold.
Theres a business program i listen to on the radio thats saying this time of the year theres plenty of money sloshing about from investment houses and the like sniffing for deals ,so it could be a bit of that.
if tommy and co release an RNS soon detailing what we all THINK is gonna happen it could be perfect timing for a kick in the share price .
either way its nice to see the price go north again after languishing for so long.
