Belfry17, I think the market has awoken to the growth and banking, future profitability and this undervalued asset and company. Both with future banking licences, current assets to liabilities, future dividends, plus the insurance, loans and banking IPR software and applications this ORCH Funding has. Plus with a 6% divi / year and current so at 52p, when it should be nearer 72-75p. I see this ticking up to somewhere near 62-65p, by next x-divi date and payment in June 2022. Also with market report due in March for last 6 months, things are really looking up!!
Plus I had another nibble and bought a few more at 50 and 51p. As well as quite a few others buying in!!! At least 250,000 shares bought today across the board of buyers from where I don’t know? I bought another 2 x 60,000 lots at this very cheap price! Plus a friend bought 20,000 at 1230 for 50.5p.
Lots of chunky buys have just gone through without price movement. Maybe we’ll see a sell trade soon or exchange. Interesting.
Belfry17 - If growth and current and new clients increase then we are on a safe bet, plus with the possibility of a banking licence by year end if all growth and escape from the doldrums of the pandemic pass things are looking good. The divi is an extra bonus!
Taken from the last results:
Cash: £2,107,000
Current assets: £30,019,000
TOTAL liabilities (short and long): £16,640,000
TOTAL assets (including above current) less total liabilities = £15,800,000 or 75p a share
The above is after a less than ideal period, in which they made profits and paid a divi but looks very cheap.
Fallingknife,,not heard anything from you in a while are you still invested? Any views or notes on the share and market?
sp ticking up nicely, the message and ORCH funding must be being noticed in the wider market and on the up for 2022!!!!!
Hi Belfry, I don’t think the Bond issue if they have one, will be this year. They have enough funds themselves, plus a new bank funding to more than cover all new and existing clients. As they come out of this pandemic and life returns to normal as does industry and retail, this will rocket to the high 60’s.!!!
Watch this share!
Nice one. What impact do you think the bond issue will have? Cheaper way to raise funds to then pass on to clients? Is it as simple as that?
Hi Belfry, yes, I have gone in big and I am really happy with the growth forecast. The future banking licence and the great 3p annual dividend, plus keep topping up at 50 and 51p, for when later in the year the sp trickles up to 61-64p price range by July 2022.
If they do a bond issue I’m in!
Is that you in the RNS Pete? :-)
I have no idea, Pete. I just think that we are undervalued here and should have a good run towards £1, proving there are no nasty surprises. The last results stated that things picked up, and they also still made a profit and paid a dividend in a poor year. I had forgotten about the dividend until I saw it in my account, so that was a nice surprise.
Belfry - Do you reckon there isa chance of being acquired by a bigger player in this arena? Given asset value and cash in bank?
I was considering adding around another 30,000 shares today, but see more sells yesterday and today, not looking great short term, unless we get a message, strategy or RNS on new contracts and work?
I think it is getting close to being valued at just two thirds of its current assets less ALL liabilities, and NAV Per share is higher than that too. That is crazy, but I know the current assets are largely made up of loans to clients.
Belfry17- I am a long term holder for now with a target price of 80p. With a bank licence hopefully in 2022 and the growth and progress now we are out of a Pandemic nearly, should see them slowly move up each month, once whoever is buying or selling behind the scenes??
A well run company which could easily be acquired by a bigger player, it has plenty of cash reserves, well run and has a excellent client list!
Interims should be at 61-62p by end of March.
there may be a seller/ transfer of shares going on recently.
What is your target, Pete? I like how there is a dividend whilst we wait to get there :-)
Share price settling and starting to rise today at 51.5, let’s hope for some banking licence news and maybe even a CEO presentation and strategy overview for 2022 this month?
FallingKnife1 - Just done some research and spotted this what looks like a growth share with a good BoD and plans Znd actions to take this forward to back into the 61-66p sp range before year end. In profit with cash and paying a divi, what is not to like. Bought two lots of 150,000 shares to test the water,??
I am surprised this one hasn’t got more attention. It achieved a net profit during a very tough year, it had/ has just over £2m cash, its net asset value per share is about 75p, and even pays a dividend. The results also said that borrowing improved towards the end of the year.
I like this share, Been beaten down but recovery is underway. Keep buying.
but the only trade of the day so far. Buyers paying full ask even for large amounts is hopefully a good sign.
Not been able to get a live price for ages so now wonder any buying drives this up. Still going to add more when I can as it looks undervalued to me. Even after today's strong jump.
which means I am a buyer again. Very good yieldand not the banking license if off the agenda there can be a clear focus on the core business. Which in fact has not performed too badly. Hope it stays off radar while I pick up some more.
but maybe wise in the circumstances. The spread is wide and will deter buyers. But depending how deeply Covid affects the business this could be a good turnaround play from here.
And two identical trades at 15:53 but this time a sell. Fat fingers day?
but might be voided or at least one of them. Two 47k buys in quick succession. There has been a lot of buying recently with little outcome so I wonder if someone is building a position here.
