Look at JKX.
Where best to put ophr funds now? RRE? JSE?
BoTs won the day for Medco .... easy to pick up any company that way on the cheap.
This is nothing about valuing a company correctly but legal market abuse imo.
Absolute joke
This BOD has sold OE at a bargain and should be ashamed. 55p?
Offer of 55p in lol.
Will take it
Just as a reminder (as I forgot) the extended deadline is 5pm on the 31st, Thursday. I wonder why Thursday...hopefully there's another bidder or some positive escalation tomorrow. Finally, good luck to those who sold. I was tempted myself but want to see this through to the next 'stage' at least. That said I only had a few thousands here and I'm not in a rush to get it out. I can't imagine what I'd be thinking if I had 10s of k here.
Thanks Harts
Forgot to mention it gets a bit more complicated if Medco offer a reduced offer but with a dividend as well.
As I said below normally yes if offer confirmed the MM's will raise the price to 55p. But if the offer is not confirmed then I would expect a drop here initially and then an increase in SP over time as we continue to generate more cash. Either way you look at it 50p is a steal for these assets and cash production. The poor investors who bought above 60p will want the offer rejected so that Ophir over the next few years can realise its true potential which is north of £1 or so that Medco increase their offer. What I'm hoping for is another big player to come in and stop Medco getting us so cheaply and then the bidding war begins. Hope that helps.
If offer is 55p
Does your holdings automatic go to that price
How long does it stay at 55p , could it not rise with this company,
If they have big plans for the future, do you hold and see where it goes
Any answers would be appreciated
Thank you Harts
The share price will normally go to that price and you can sell there and then. Only reason it hasn't gone to 55p now is because Medco haven't confirmed the offer.
If an offer is accepted how long is your money tied up before you get the funds back if you choose to holduntil the end?
The board have been trying to sell Ophir since last summer. As soon as Alan Booth took charge it was the only play he was looking for. No attempt to get a new CEO and closing the London office all points to a wind down. They will all be handsomely made off as well. It is CRIMINAL!!!
Why are they not fighting to save this company they are supposed to be looking after?
Why, how long will they be ‘tied up’ for?
Sold this morning at 50p, didn't want funds to be tied up for a potential 10% gain. Can't see offer price being higher. GLA

It IS a steal at 55pps ... MedCo are playing a tough game ... as it retains the right to CUT that figure if there is a dividend!
I am a holder but an annoyed/happy one!

Nice...
It’s an absolute steel at 55p which stinks of corruption to me so if Medco didn’t follow through with an official bid they are very very foolish.
Presumably Medco have talked to the IIs so at least they have a good idea of a price. I guess each had their own version of value for shareholders...after all 1 in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
What’s the chances of this already being a done deal? Surely this has to be far to low for ii’s and is not delivery any sort of true value to shareholders?
Totally agree Harts
