La cejita for me too AG. Majority of the big deposits on the mid cauca are porphyry - which judging by the geochem- Le C looks like it could be- but who knows...
I actually don't think it matters when the other areas are stated as being better than Apta. Such a vast unexplored region. When you consider the fact we are only scraping the barrel at Apta because of the ease of access I am genuinely excited by our other plots. If I had to pick I'd opt for Guaimarala as it was planned for early 2021. Are we not still waiting for granted status on La Cejita? Though to be fair I still think the majors have unfinished business at Apta I really think they like it.
Question for me, where to next after Apta?
La Cejita? If they get the go ahead here, you’ll see the buys flood in. That geochemistry anomaly map within the presentation highlights just how prospective of a target it could well be
If Anza was just a stop gap, get ready to be blown away when they stick a few holes in across Anza.
Buyers are coming back again.
Some left in fear and sold having lost.
There was no more money to buy more.
How many end up poor?
Silver horse, Colombia is very pro Mining. Our neighbor is Buritica which Newmont sold to a Chinese firm for $1.4b to focus on Anza. Plenty of very large finds in our region, hence our CEO describing it as elephant country.
One trick pony with Newmont, the worlds number 1 gold producer as our majority shareholder!
Columbia is not all that bad these days and if you consider the area Anza is situated in then you can see why there are not one but two majors in amongst this. Columbia are moving away from coal and into precious minerals also in which the government are heavily backing which makes sense when illegal gold mining is work a few billion dollars annually in lost revenue. It should also help with licencing applications, permits etc. Obviously not Australia but not all bad as all. Also mining in Colombia is classed as key and although South America have been hit quite badly by covid the drilling has been going rather well apart from the delays at the lab in Lima, Peru. Certainly worth you keeping an eye on though.
Just found out its a 1 trick pony - gold down today - there is some very good things very few shares - will watch. Columbia not sure about that country
Apta **
“Apart from drilling at APTA prospect, work commenced on regional mapping and sampling across the wider lease holding”
These samples may not be directly Core samples linked with Apta drilling, but general sampling practices undertaken and sent off to the labs. Companies can send these kind of soil and rock chip samples off in their hundreds and thousands.
By completion of the last hole, I take it we have 7 holes to report from Anza which is exciting on its own.
Silverhorse - not much of a catch. Big drop recently, sentiment low as a few got caught buying in the 30s to 40s and delays at the lab. Lots going for omi though. Have a look at the recent rns' for clarification but nice time to buy in my opinion. A good few have averages much higher than today's price.
I had some difficulty buying this afternoon, and had to divide an order of £19k into two parts (unlike Friday, when there was no problem).
Hi, Rebs.
I'm not sure you're right about this. The wording is very ambiguous: "Company remains subject to delayed assay results, with over 2000 samples currently in the laboratory awaiting assay." I took it to mean that there were 2000 samples from many companies (not from OMI alone) waiting to be analysed; which was therefore causing a delay in the analysis of those belonging to OMI.
I will email the company for clarification on this point.
Whats the catch here?
Yes, it looks like we're off the bottom. There comes a point, where everyone who wishes to sell has done so. And the gold price is in our favour, too. The next thing that should happen, is for the volume to pick up; then we know we've made it through to the recovery.
17p paid.
TWO THOUSAND sample assay results to come.
whats not to like, especially when we've seen multiple huge bonanza grades already?:)
Definitely a good time to buy back or top up. With the price of Gold above $1800 there is no reason for the SP not to recover as the actual drilling results continue to support the idea given by the historical drilling. Furthermore, the CSA noting that all previous drilling was of a high standard, and that with some minor modifications would be amenable to be included in a resource estimate in future when that is warranted further confirms that what attracted Newmont and Agnico Eagle to the ANZA project was the right information and that has only being enhanced by the current drilling.
Very odd to see OMI rally today given what the rest of the market is doing. :o
hopefully that's the bounce we've been waiting for
Had to look twice - are we actually rallying? 16.25p BID!! lol
