That’s been expected since a while as I understand it from online media, and that it was more a question of when they’d be announced. I, from my viewpoint, glad to learn there is a more long-term strategy being put into place. Fine with percentage holding being reduced somewhat further eventually as a result of this. Well pleased with renaming.
Change is good.. Be good to see an upward movement. Also nice to see Roland taking shares... ;-)
Hmmm, what’s everyone’s views on the options?
What pleasant start to the week
Judging by the recent holding RNS'S i don't think there is now going to be any share churn taking place which should bode well for the share price over the next few months.
I also think that if there is going to be the first of two drill's later this year some long lead items will have to be ordered by the end of July. Which might give an idea as to managements feeling's as to how well they think the refrac has gone.
Not far off Conger.. I'm sure I've read 30-45 days for fracking. So mid August is the earliest and beginning of September at the latest..
All depending on fracking start date... ;-)
I think the fracking result are more likely in September just to be realistic VF.
CCS Application results
Rig mobilization mid June
Fracking begins mid July
Fracking results mid August
Not long left .. If you haven't taken position or increased your holding, Now is a good time whilst still cheap.
JV will be very close to fracking results..
;-)
Me talk to an FA lol ...... I stopped talking advice from FAs 25 years ago when i became more qualified then them. I have a masters in Finance and tax and am a Fellow of the association of Charted Certified Accountants. so rest easy Neutronic, i know all about the risks! :)
After holding shares in Oilex for 8 years I cashed out twice from Oilex for over £100k profit in the last few years. Anyway I picked up the another 5m shares yesterday at 0.185p bringing my average to under 0.20p.
Conger, its easy to see that money as "free" to gamble on something like this.
I'm not a FA, but I'd suggest you make a safer play on that cash rather than something more risky.
Each to their own tho.
Why only 370 million shares, it should have been 750 million according to the original RNS.
Yes Espen. Brings their holdings to what I think, is the highest ever 16%. That is quite a difference in sp, but oddly, it is unchanged on the day, with zero shares traded. Let's see if it has any effect here. Atb.
Just out at ASX, I’d say that pretty good news: https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02530090-6A1095011?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4
Couple that with ASX price equal to .23 GBP, quite a big difference currently.
What the bet they reissue or extend their life ......
Snowball's in hell, come to mind Espen. Lol. Atb.
Remember there are plenty of share options expiring end of this month, exercisable @0.476 I believe - just saying ;)
I hear you IMP but it is impossible to judge bottom and easy to miss the current price will work very well 2 to 3 times on a great frack result is really not unrealistic. So a 20% drop vs a say 200% gain with odds put at 75% success rate by Roland.
being a lth it is a big decision , i think that some ppl are getting cold feet and can see this one dropping to .15 which is a def buy in price for the gamble
This week for oilex

Next week or two

????????
Just debating should I increasing my holdings again , I have access to fair amount of cash now with a % the proceeds from a house sale in July.
Defiantly a dice roll with the fracking but good result would be a game changer.
Decisions / Decisions / Decisions.
There is a high pressure system in existence. They have said they will connect to it if production is enough to make it worthwhile
last post should read to build - problem with phone on the move deleting words
Big thing to remember is that we know we have the gas. the worst case is that we have built a modern low pressure system rather than a high pressure system which Roland alluded to on one occasion. Which can then if required be converted by the pipeline operator. Having said that I think that a refrac is likely to work as there has been a lot of advances in fracing since the last attempt and we have all the data from the previous attempts so we know what is required.
Morning pj, yep that’s me. Total holding is up since last TR-1, however percentage wise it’s down due to the new shares issued.
Most people lose money on these little companies ...... Roland is a winner tho......
