Oke1 : "Ditto they are comfortable to wait for Mologic biotech to get HUA via visitech"
I think you're onto something here.Colin could well be holding back from committing machines and resources to anyone other than Mologic, the non-DHSC half of the 2m per week capacity at least. It is he afterall who has been at the centre of negotiations with potential partners..he who knows what kind of verbal agreements could be on the table in anticipation of Mologic's approval,.meanwhile he's content casseting i.e. he's waiting to get his hands on a bigger piece of the pie.One way or another, this company will soon be firing up the starting gun and making millions of tests.Just over £8m revenues last year..just imagine how much this figure will rocket by when the orders drop, which they will.
Dave, obviously your call but I notice that the Dow is up 400 points and FTSE up 100 points possibly on reduced fear of a China meltdown. With the press confirmation that ODX are currently assembling the Surecreen test (hopefully whilst waiting for our own test to be approved) are you reconsidering your position? We have all been there and you may just want to walk away but a £300k loss is significant for anyone - you might want to buy some back, your average will have gone up by 7p ish but if this comes off now you will be kicking yourself.
blubutton - Monkeyspaw - I like it.
yes indeed, please dont contact Walbrooke flashy...
they will definitely mess things up.
i don't even want the walbrooke idiots to comment on the DHSC contract when it begins because they will accidentally create a negative aspect to it, walbrook should be renamed MonkeysPaw
Can imagine Colin on Zoom to his NOMAD on one side and corporate lawyer over the NDA - which if there has been one Surescreen have well truly made it null & void ?
It’s just the terms now - I guess
"keep every ODX and walbrook employee away from twitter, cut their broadband lines, put them in a faraday cage .. no speeding tickets !"
amen to that.....can you imagine what is going through colin's mind at the moment!
Mentioned earlier over HUA etc
Colin not in control of the news flow at the moment, look what’s happened today in market hours
Could be more good news dropping anytime.
I was about to email Wallbrooke to see if they want to commebt on this - but I image they will put one out pending as this is new info that we didn't have visibility of before. Cheers
indeed Okehurst
UK financial regulatory market klaw states anything price sensitive must be released to the market (as a whole) as soon as is reasonably practical.
i.e NOW !!!
its about fecking time, whether its today or tomorrow
a long long journey, lets see what happens over the coming days, however we can now define soon as days (hopefully) ;)
Cat out of the bag springs to mind … RNS in the morning:-))))))
keep every ODX and walbrook employee away from twitter, cut their broadband lines, put them in a faraday cage .. no speeding tickets !
Weirdly I can’t see Omega putting a tweet out on this one - before an RNS
We know how they love a Tweet - has to be an RNS ?
it can’t be to anyone with a Twitter account, must be to the market then they can Tweet ?
The first home grown LFT ? Has to be RNS ?
Material news
Buying frenzy today need more days like this GLA
What is it, all sell at 52p read you like a book
TW, agree
Well we didn’t see this one coming - it looks big news
HUA - EU
USA - potentially
To follow, looks like rerate has started, we get confirmation on either the volume of cassettes of the 2 items above and we get serious rerate upwards
Good day today
"I am not that hung up on the £2.8M to DHSC after all we have £17M of their kit? We don’t the know the terms of that agreement as yet but it’s not material today."
I'm not hung up on it either, but the lack of payments whilst apparently doing stuff within the contract, suggested the payments were less than what was owed and hence had implications for the volume of the work. However, if the contract is not with uk gov, it opens up different possibilities.
TW
Agree
It’s all stacking up … Surescreen been enjoying was it £25M a month from the Government
Omega have been getting their cut off Surescreen hence we didn’t show up anywhere
We have been manufacturing the cassettes / Surescreen the rest - we may well be manufacturing 7M cassettes a month? £1.70 if same price as RTC deal @ 50% gross
I am not that hung up on the £2.8M to DHSC after all we have £17M of their kit? We don’t the know the terms of that agreement as yet but it’s not material today.
One last guess, we must have an NDA with Surescreen so Colin couldn’t divulge the supplier other than say it was for a Government supplier
Christ, once again no comment on anything to do with the company, just forever the whinger, even on potentially the discussion thread we've we've had in ages. If you want ot name call, theres' loads of thread for you to pick.
Now, back to the actual news, wonder will this reveal result in any more info coming from ODX.
Well done to those that bought at 46 today GLA
Happy with my investment
Happy with being patient
Happy days …. :-))))))
kate, you do impression of Yoda ?
Twat a fool you may have been
Where’s Dave gone ?
It would be crazy to have sold this close
to the finish line
Buy back in quickly !!
"good news that we found out that they have been doing something after all."
We've known they have/had been doing cassetting/assembly work, ODX simply have not provided any colour whatsoever as to the volume of work.. I agree with Okehurst, we need some visibility from ODX in relation to volume.
We also know that ODX have not received a penny from uk gov in the last 3 months, which means 1 of 2 things.
1) Whatever the level of work, it has not been enough to repay back the pre-production £2.9M which in the contract said it would be paid back.
2) This work is NOT happening under the gov contract, but is an entirely separate agreement between ODX & Surescreen, with uk gov giving ODX dispensation to use the gov machinery (as after all these are tests that are ultimately for the government). Someone did previously mention that CK had said this assembly was a separate contract ?
Definitely could put a different shine on things if the volumes are significant. But then would be very surprised NDA or not, ODX have not informed the market of the significance of this arrangement.
