Solder a reasonable point but on reflection no, not state aid. The equipment was supplied during a time of emergency in contemplation of an order that was required for the good of the nation - with the order having potentially lapsed there will at some point be a need to account for the cost but as I have said before a simple rental agreement on favourable terms of £2/300 k for annum would tick all the right boxes. ODX of course would need to be undertaking commercial opportunities, utilising the machinery before they would be prepared to enter into such an agreement, until then it can sit where it is.
Want to explore your “aids” comment before it gets removed and you get banned?
Great news they are getting to keep the expensive equipment. I still feel the DSHC will use Omega if things get really bad with this new Aids Variant.
omega tweets...greta responds "blah blah blah"
Would just using this equipment for commercial operations outside of manufacturing for government not be classed as state aid and also give rise to competition lawsuits from other manufacturers that have not had the benefit of the government giving them their machines?
Even if they wanted to just buy or rent those machines the government would need to run a competive process to be see as getting best value for tax payers and not providing a single company with an unfair advantage.
Wad
In odx shambles of a presentation ck said they were in discussions with the gov as to weather they could use the machines for there own commercial use . So to me the to tweet that statement tonight must mean they have had clarification in the last 24h from gov !
Another question , if they here having discussions regarding using the machines does that mean they are expecting to use them for some good size orders ? Hopefully all will be revealed soon
Probably what he meant was only good news Friday - I’ll take any positive.
The tweeted info. is in the RNS :
"DHSC are still providing us with access to the government-funded equipment to provide the infrastructure to grow our business"
As i said last night..many positives have been overlooked. One approval and we're back in business.
Maybe he is fed up with inept advisors. Inmo .
Now I’m even more confused.
Why was Colin’s presentation so depressing yesterday? He knew all this, beyond belief that he didn’t use this to bolster the SP and avoid a sell off.
(Yes, I listened in, and Jesus, Joseph and Mary, it was so monotoned and boring, I lost the will to live)
Maybe I’ve lost the plot??????????
Stew, I'm gonna tell you a story. A long long time ago there was a Friday night tweet about a Tesla........
Fantastic guys just a shame they tweeted late on Friday would have been better in rns Monday morning
Only realised the day before the presentation of course.
Lansdown on the case, signed up DAM, largest in clinic next to Boots, but with a global twist (so better thanBoots?) and growing like crazy. So now has 100m tests for retail, go Lansdown. £29 per test boom
They gave the machines to odx just in case they fall short of the Chinese tests they want them to keep them for now just in case of a emergency like the one we had earlier when the f in world was running out of lft,s hence the £374 contract just in case, never intended while odx tell everyone they only just realised the contract date has expired, both as bad as each other fook em both
I reckon this will go through the roof Monday ! It’s way oversold and now the variant plus the news post close !! Roll on Monday
Looks forward to that RNS on monday then. Along with, what are they going to make & who is going to make it?
Sounds as though they have approval to use govt machines wow ser
They tweet again on a Friday night something contradictory to what they said in the presentation (access to Govt machinery/ongoing discussions to use Govt machinery). This, the day after (to paraphrase) a formal approach to social media in future. The question is, who didn't get this memo? what facts did they receive? or are they just scheduled tweets? Either way it's another example of amateur hour again.

Strange post(Understandable) I care and want my portfolio to turn positive again (Odx)and I wouldn’t of topped up first thing this morning to bring my average down just below 40p first thing this morning if I didn’t think that target wasn’t achievable.
Covid is running wild again and the demand for lft’s will be in huge demand.
I know we really need the approvals and hopefully they land very soon so that the sentiment goes in to orbit.
Ps stay safe oakhurst imo this will come good gla
That's the end game. When anger turns to ridicule. Shame, so much potential.
If omega are tweeting tell them to foooook ooooooff as I don't have a twitter account many thanks
I don’t think anyone cares anymore - they can tweet what they want but it has no weight
Official contracts via an RNS with some detail of £value
"Where is the demand going to come from?"
