08 Apr 2024 Group of companies' accounts made up to 30 June 2023
pdf link at Companies House https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/03203042/filing-history
Sounds like "Cheerio but never say never". I see no mention of us ordinary shareholders. Isn't that telling us something.

As there is nothing I can find since 5 December on the OBC mess site, what were the resolutions reportedly passed at the AGM? To henceforth buy pizza from an independent pizza parlour using Deliveroo? To call it a day after another round of pizzas? To be a better person in 2024? What were the mentioned AGM resolutions?
I think we were unfortunately expecting today's news....
AIM deletion on Wednesday according to the FTSE Russell dept mentioned in News.
I don't know any more than that, last time such happened with another share of mine it was bye-bye to every penny. I've lost my money here too if it's the same again, thankfully I sold some a few years back, so it would've been worse if I hadn't.
Were you there when Clem treated us all to pizza? Had a good old chat with BMD!
The UK Companies House site says "! Accounts overdue Next accounts made up to 30 June 2023 due by 31 December 2023 ..." ( find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/03203042) and OBC's website, which looks amateurish to my eyes with scripts or markup I used for my own websites in the quite distance past,. does not seem to have any news or anything uploaded since 5 Dec. I don't know if Umbria is or isn't active etc, perhaps someone else can check. If they don't have a new adviser and don't get an extension, I suppose a delist is next and then I don't know. Last time I had a share delisted about 20 years ago, my money was gone permanently. I got off lightly, I know of an accountant who lost house money invested in the same share 20 years ago, poor soul. OBC's impression on shareholders like myself currently resembles a n unfunny Rocky Horror Show. Of course, perhaps OBC will break their silence if someone mentions a 2-for-1 pizza order.

Anyone going to the AGM today? its at 10.30 would appreciate any feedback if you are...
I note the AGM news, but still is this their way of permanently exiting stage left? I lost hope and was resigned to losing my money anyway for some time, so not a big shock to me, I just held on here after selling some a few years ago in the hope that someone at OBC would truly close their flippin' pizza boxes and do something they can be truly proud of, and I don't mean resisting the complementary Viennetta.
Deffo bad news!
Thank you, I do not know that.
They no longer have an Advisor thus have to suspend

There is a clear correlation between BTC/Crypto spikes and a rise in the OBC shareprice
It doesn’t do anything with crypto though?
With BTC flying this is not the time for the share to be suspended.

3p placing rumour. Rubbish like this won't survive in this market.
I sometimes read a piece of news and then go out and buy a share on a hunch. Hence I now have a small stake here because AI and a Synthia which can manage communicationsand translate languages looks very useful. I should add I am 66 years old and actually saw The Rocky Horror Show live in London in 1978 ish. It remains a great show imo.
This is pretty cool - if successful, it'll be very disruptive for the modern secretary or PA.
Would be interested in using this though - so much time is lost trying to schedule a meeting when others internally

I can see the applications for this new AI assistant.
When you're sat in the garage and short of a slice of pizza you can get your crypto reserves sold immediately and then more pizza delivered quicker.
Maybe Cynthia can get Alexa to stick on some rockin' tunes while you enjoy the £2.68 profit from some random Rocky Horror NFTs?
Excellent Dude!
You weren't far off the mark there on 1 June, Darien :D
(Dunno why I'm laughing ... I hold!)
Gohigh, search this thread for "pizza" because it seems to have been very good advice thus far. If anyone has one of those time machines they mention on Ancient Aliens, or if it's true that the past, present and future are all one timeless hologram, please dial me 'back' to Q1 2021. TIA.
Anyone knows of any particular reason for this drop!
Waiting for these tw4ts to announce that there nfts are AI . They really are total carpetbaggers and chancers

Thanks for checking it, B. Much appreciated.
As some may speculate, all the toppings, probably.
This one aside, I hope your portfolio shows you handsome profits now or very soon, B.
That graph you link to shows a major transaction (I presume a sale) and that then precipitates a sharp change in the price.
Pizza fund needed topping up and they daren't try to place shares at this level? Who knows.
Would I be correct in saying Umbria dropped from about 48 cents a few weeks ago to a fraction of a cent?
Sentiment or real reasons?

Good to get the sellers out, now onwards and upwards!
Should hit 28p minimum tomorrow ;) imho
darientaylor
If there are PI's out there that link the two then they are linked haha
Bit more buying pressure and she’ll fly ;)
Looks like the idiots are still equating BTC and blockchain...
You got that right, K3NTY (up 25%).

201 trades so far. I can't remember what the volume was 2 years ago when it got much higher. I assume it was crypto sentiment then and now too. Obviously I wish I'd bought some at 10p or whatever it was a few weeks ago, would have been laughing thus far. Sigh.
28.50/29.50 was the peak (so far) today. It is now down from that peak by quite a bit. (I hold, no idea where it's going next, it often surprises in both directions. It was briefly over GBP1 about 2 years ago.)
Someone is keen. 10k buy, 13k buy and 3k buy all at 11.08am
I suppose simply because of the 30k and 20k etc transactions.
Day high broken. Look at the order book. Wowser

Mick , buys are back test 30p then on to 40p
Only 14 million shares , and in tight hands . OBC have turned over 1.1 million so far today .
Hi mick
Yes, few buys and off we go again .
40p is also conservative Dom. MCL went from 0.40p to 2p on Thursday/Friday. I would expect at least 60p here this week IMO as liquidity is very good in AIM at the moment.
NT to buy currently but can sell 50,000 at 26p. They want shares.
DYOR
Nice 91k buy at 29p

Mms collect a few shares ready for the next leg up
Yes and BTC hit $21400 overnight. Another rally like that and the herd will pile in here.
Also a nice tight spread Barnet
I agree , but the crypto is flying so this time there is a big difference.
Yes this is a mad stock . Just be aware it fell from 25p to below 12p in a couple of days recently on nothing much. Always worth buying at the lows because it spikes hard.

AGM in the garage with Bill and Ted.
I heard they passed resolution 4a and added Pineapple.
Not exactly a sold out Wembley for Queen or U2....
Apparently they had their AGM. Anyone go? Was one of the resolutions to get delivery from Domino's or Papa John's?

There was plenty of time to sell these for a good profit this year. The stake in afn and the other assets underpin the company although it is risky of course. Something like 6 to 8 pence is a great entry price for a punt. I have a freeroll on these and will watch to add. Crypto may recover next year and if it does so will this but who knows?
worth a punt on the drop imo
So the summary:
we have £1.95M of balance sheet value - a share of AFN which has reduced in value and enough cash to cover another year.
We have 2.5 million Umbria tokens which are valued at £NIL, but have a current sale value of $1.50 each, so in theory might have been ascribed $3.75M in the books, but weren't because of the crypto volatility and issues with the wider crypto market/future.
We're burning through £1M a year including paying "directors" £100k each and for some reason a bonus of £20k too.... all from a revenue of £100k.
As it is so sweetly put in the opening blurb - you're either a skeptic or a believer. The current SP really does say it all for now.
Sigh. Back to searching for cans in the bins for me.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but most of this shares value is in its ADVFN holding.
OBCs chairman used to be ADVFNs chairman until recently after he tried to produce a dividend from ADVFN and failed,
So no divi pay outs for OBC.
OBC don't own narni neither is it a subsidiary they are purely "advisors".
OBC have staked ETH in narnis liquidity pools which generates them ETH.
Does anyone know how much ETH OBC have staked?
Seems to me that at this point with ETH at yearly lows and no divi from ADVFN the chairman should consider selling some of the 17.64 holding (just over 1% could buy 100 ETH) and staking it in narni.
Important to keep it real - understand the value of an asset based on the fundamentals, not a Bollinger band.
This week a major Crypto exchange has gone to the wall (FTX) and here we have a PLC backed Narni bridge technology rapidly growing. That's the compelling case, not a graph.
The opportunity (risk) is all about this tech. and how it can be adopted by mainstream banking services.
ignorant- previous resistance I get to be 40p so if it broke the 30p barrier the thats where I was looking to.
Thanks for the gaps definition, B. I also heard a lot of things here about TA in the now distant past, and I've never known TA to work on smallcaps like this one that have potentially huge volatility. I absolutely cringe when someone says the brokers/MMs can't fill the buy orders and similar, and then it drops. Even if it were seemingly so at the time, someone's only got to back out of an order or decide to sell and that observation is for the birds. I wish you well and if it climbs properly from here I'm going to be angry with myself for not putting another hundred quid or two in it last week, but such is life.
Hi Ignorant.
Nobody can give you advice you should follow - only you know what risk/timescales suit you.
"Gaps galore" is hype speak for "this share will move up in steps, similar to the 60% we saw on RNS day, but repeated over and again till the share price is much higher than now".
It's never to be taken seriously as it's always a ramp by someone who is desperate for an exit price or a quick trade win.
I hold long term because I did the maths on 16.7% of AFN and the belief that the Narni bridge will either do very well for us long term or be sold for a big profit - either way I think I'll gain, but that's just me. Lots of AIM wins are about timing and sentiment and that's impossible to predict correctly all the time.
