I did post here a few months ago, on response to another poster's enthusiastic post about the company's revenue. I remarked that the revenue was going straight into the directors' pockets, re-iteratg what an earlier post had noted about the size of directors ' salaries. I don't know why, but both our posts were removed. I note that some other oil companies have recently raised cash for the purpose of drilling new wells. Not so Northern Petroleum. The stated purpose is 'in order to finance general working capital requirements.' That is clear confirmation that the company is 'living beyond its means.'
A bit of a mixture here..... They could have done the placing at a later date.... Although at a premium the placing will result in 50% dilution whether this impacts the sp will remain to be seen.... One for the watch list... GLA
as I always say use a proper broker not on line who will negotiate with the jobber ( in the trade come closer) that is within the spread. By the way spread is now 19% still outrageous . Shows they do not know which way it will jump.
I would be interested in your thoughts as to where do we see NOP in 1 to 2 years time? I have been a shareholder for over 2 years and have regularly topped up but over this time it appears to provide very little chats especially over the last 6 months. I would appreciate people thoughts
Why increase the Ask to 4p and leave the bid unchanged? Hopefully, news on Monday , but that's a pure guess... Gla
32% spread who is making the money lol not the PI's once it starts to move it should settle down this will move fast once things start to improve, good luck, Al
Up 6% on nothing - looking forward to some good news and then , with luck, the SP will fly... Gla
I'm just waiting for more news here but am happy to wait and see the expected increase in oil production. If the SP gets below my buy in price of 3.3p I will buy more. Gla
When is NOP going to raise the £3m they have said they need for the winter work program. They have said it's going to either be raised by equity, debt or farm out of Canadian or Italian assets. News must be round the corner.
Could be profit takers - I was tempted myself...looks like I should have , however, still think this a little Gem of a company worth good news coming our way. Gla Ps can't blame anyone for taking a profit, that's why we are here...
Come on NOP
Rocket
The latest one shown here is from June 2015 and the 80p valuation is hardly relevant. Gla
Hardly any sells it looks like. Need spreadtk tighten
SP over 4p on Google? What gives?
And this looks like a little Gem !!! I also liked the interims and if they double production and get the gas opportunity up and running I guess my entry price of 3.3p might be a bargain . Gla
Thanks babs for tipping this one mate
strangely quiet too... may sneak in a buy on open - assuming I can below 3.5.
