None of the directors have invested a significant amount of cash that I was looking for to give myself confidence to take my holdings back up. Do other shareholders belief that they have put enough of their own cash in for us to believe that NOP are going to give us and them a reasonable return, because I don't but I hope that I'm wrong GLA to the people who are staying in
Just noticed that Keith Bush bought another 140735 shares at a cost of £5629.40p on 11/01. That doesn't give me much confidence in his views of the companies future
I'm in !
And my open offer shares were executed - delighted.....
Maybe strong buy is over reaching. However, I certainly believe we are now poised for the next step up.
Sorry about the spelling of Glossy
I totally agree with your posting apart from your opinion of a strong buy. We need more factual information not clossey information that appears to me have been given over the last 2/3 years. Yes I would like to see the directors increase their holdings substantially as this it would give us more confidence

Completely appreciate the frustrations of long term holders here. This share has been hammered over the past number of years. Arguably due to the market conditions and oil price, it seems nosencical to increase production and deplete assets at a loss. 2015- 2016 was about weathering the storm. Never known cercustances where a management team took pay cuts to satisfy shareholders. Would a move like that devalue both the management and the business? Having said that, management should have evidence of Lean cost cutting measures put in place. Has anyone emailed them? What NOP management now need to provide shareholders with is a detailed plan on its execution plan for doubling/trebbeling production over the coming year. The finincial and technical infrastructure is now In place. They have had 2 years to develop that strategy, P2P joining is certinaly a step in the right direction. We also have prospects that offer transformational opportunities for the company in the medium to long term. The market needs visibility of these plans in order to build momentum. More PR to increase our visibility inline with a steady release of news. I am confident that 2017 holds promise for shareholders and like others here hope management have backed themselves by increasing there holdings. I would be interested in hearing other share holders thoughts from an operational/ production development stand point and what they believe the impact of doubling production will have on our share price? GLA
It will be very interesting to see how many shares the directors buy? If they buy a large amount I will apologise if not I think they are taking us all for a ride. I still have some shares in NOP but have reduced my original 100,000 to 15,000 in the hope that I am wrong but in total I've lost over 2k I made this decision because I honestly believe we have not been given the correct information and they have used our money to keep receiving their high salaries
Very exciting time for the company. Firstly, excellent to see H2P getting onboard, this is the type of new direction management need. They will also provide the technical and financial support required to grow and strengthen the asset portfolio. With a market Cap of under £13 million, 2017 targets to double production and strong medium to long term growth strategy. Very undervalued. As always DYOR.
Really like the fresh outlook for this company. http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/171381/northern-petroleum-open-offer-was-oversubscribed-171381.html
With the placing at 3.5 and the shares sp over 4 taking them up was a no brainier.
Well this could apply to me as well but I hope not. I emailed my bank the day before the deadline confirming I wanted to take up my entitlement plus three times more than I was entitled to take. I then received a message stating they only opened my message at circa 2pm - two hours after the cut off time - arghhhhhh. Hopefully, all is not lost as they claim to have requested my order gets fulfilled despite being two hours late..... Will I never learn ?????
I am a numpty and missed the deadline. Feel a bit foolish but cannot do anything about it now. Hopefully onwards and upwards here
Yes, Red, and that s why I will not invest in this company. There are other oil companies that are worth investing in and I don't see why I should help keep this gravy train running. My guess is that the share price is being supported by the oil price.
I did plus large surplus
Thats a good idea. Will do the same.
I have applied for my full entitlement but immediately sold the same value of shares which resulted in just over£40 profit. This is because I'm not putting any more money into NOP until I see something more positive, for a start why do they want more cash a year after their last cash injection. With all their RNS telling us how they were going to make to be self sufficient, personally think the high salaries that the board are taking is where our cash is going and if the board really belief we are going to prosper I would like to see that the board members each personally purchase £500,000 worth of shares each. Which would give me belief that they can see the company moving forwarrd rather then the present gravy train
Anyone else here applied for their shares??
What's happening with the company? Not been taking much notice for a while.
That was meant to be up and down. Sorry.
Unfortunately it's now showing 3.58p, they go up and more than a pair of w**r*s kn**k*rs, excuse the term.
If the price sticks here the open offer at 3.5 is a bargain!
