I think you missed my point, I originally brought share in NOP for just over 40p and I believed that the company was going places and even when their share price dropped I topped up and December 2015 purchased more as I still believed that the company was in good hands with Keith Bush however in 2016 I have not seen anything positive with regard to NOP especially taking into account in July 2016 the statements that NOP were providing was telling us that they were now self sufficient so please can you tell me why the company needed to raise further cash. I am not trying to be bitter, clever or cause NOP harm but would like to receive a directive from the board as to where they expect the companies position to be in 6months and 12 months time and if I liked what they were saying I would invest in NOP again, If you look back over 24 months ago this board was a lot more active and Keith Bush was a lot more active in providing information
I dont expect criticism particularly from some-one who cant spell.I was trying to make a constructive point but your observations go no further than your own ego. just remember losses to end June 2016 1,225.0000 £ to end June 2015 2,565,000 £....I hope for those who make interesting and valid contributions i wish you all the best with your investment. For those who cannot contribute its your loss. this is my last contribution on this subject.
Please ignore the wording. RKH as mentioned it was meant to be NOP
15k of Keith's money has purchased just over 470,000 of his share holding in the last 13 months and if Board had the belief that RKH have turned the corner I would have expected them to purchase more shares Since Nov/Dec 2015 when we were told we would be covering all our overheads and would be self sufficient. I would like a statement as why this is not the case and why it needed to to get its investors to give it another round of cash injection when as far as I am concerned we have had very little information in the last 12 months to give myself confidence to keep invested or to invest more. I was hoping that I could have given my 2 grandsons 20,000 shares each in 3/5 years as a long term investment for their future when I thought they would have been worth at least 50/75p per share With regard to today's SP I again personally think that it has come off the back of the hype of the over subscription and the increase in general of purchasing oil shares especially with the prospect of POO and will fall back to 3p - 3.5p within the next 2 months. Again if I am wrong I will apologise because I wish you all good luck
Delboi , many thanks
47k isn't exactly loose change now is it ?? Surely consistent buying on behalf of the board IS a sign of confidence regardless of the amount !! Any other observations you would like to make re the rise in the SP or is it just a fluke ????
Not according to bobbymacc's theory ... because it's alll about fundamentals.... I'm going to check with warren buffet just in case because he might have an insight on this AIM listed conoany eh bobbymacc ???? IMHO DYOR 8-/
Some nice buying going on here this morning... How about 6p by Friday ???
You are all kidding yourselves i.e. Keith Bush's share purchases 80,000. @. 31.18 Total cost. £26503.00 35,000 @ 15.79. .. £ 5526.50 330,000@. 3.00. .. £. 9900.00 140735 @. 3.50. .. £. 4925.73 Actual total costs of shares. £46,888.23 I am using Keith as an example consider what salary he's earning to invest personally only £46,855 in total I would expected him to invest at least 10 times this amount if he believes that NOP is going to give investors a return and this in my opinion is also is applicable to the rest of the board
What will the fundamentals look like at 800-1500bopd, when oil is at $65-$70? This company has a massive amount of growth ahead of it. It's current market cap does not reflect its true value. An oversubscribed placing supports that.
Well i would rather look at fundamentals and facts as opposed to making an investment decision based on KB share purchases.ASk Warren Buffet about Fundamentals.......I would be only encouraged to invest here when the annual losses disappear and the oil production is commensurate with there hyperbole.....PLease look at admin costs against current production...Not Encouraging......Not for me...but best of luck with your Investments..YOU will need it..

Some nice buys but what's going on?? Not complaining ....
You need to consider the operating environment NOP have been in for the best part of 2 years. Ramping production and selling oil at a loss makes no sense. With the oil price steadying, production will double/treble moving into next year. With many other opportunities and announcements to come. Confidence/interest is returning to the oil investment market. There will be many looking to get in at the bottom, I for one believe this has hit bottom and is now on the move.
This is AIM remember ... since when did it ever make sense from a numbers point of view ?? Surely you have learnt by now to pay more attention to directors dealings rather than fundamentals?
I am amazed that this company continues to trade. The difficulty they have is that of producing oil. they are very good at spending the company money.Net loss to equity shareholders 2016 1,225,000 in us $..2016 accounts please refer....They incurred us$ 3 in admin costs in 2016....The involvement now with Hpp will take 25% of any revenue from helping the current share price. The cash raise will be used to fund the winter work programme and also the directors high salaries 300th plus.....The directors of HPP will also want to extract income from the company....This company is very good at talking about potential oil but not producing it....and paying themselves large amounts of money without the Profit made within the company...The major shareholders Cavendish Asset Management and City Fianancila management need to take stronger action here and apply more rigorous financial control.
This share is completely off the market radar at the moment. I suggest you start by reading the RNS dated 7th July 2016. Then review presentation on the company website. That should give you a good indication of what's coming short term.
Hi Fellas , I have just heard of this company , but know nothing about the potential , assets etc , can someone please give me a quick run down please . I have iae for a while now , so i am up to speed on the oil market . Many thanks MAC
Where on twitter ?
I notice Mumford (Cavendish Asset Management) has bought into the placing and sees upside if 3-4 times current SP. Mumford has a solid 25 year track record and is well regarded. If NOP can get 1000bod out of Canada at the low production costs the cash generation would be significant. The current SP is very low with the new dundingbin place. I notice a few of the decent traders on twitter are now talking about NOP.
Short term expectations. 6-12 months I predict we are likely to see the price of oil back up at $68-$70 barrel. By year end, completion of a relatively low cost, low risk, well work over program doubling production. Contributing towards a healthier balance sheet. No payment fears as all our assets are in geopolitically safe location. Transformational growth opportunities over the medium to long term. All this needs is a steady realise of news and patience IMO
I think 3-5 yrs is a bit excessive, I'm not sure whether I've got that long to live. I am just looking for a decent return on my investment.
Thanks Rookie, I have other investments which have more than covered my loss with NOP however I for now are almost out of NOP shares but was intending to keep my original amount for another 3-5 years because I believed that NOP was going places but what I have seen in the last 12-14 months is a lack of positive information for me to keep invested here. Again I wish NOP well but they need to communicate a lot more as they did 2 years ago and hopefully this will give myself and others the confidence with the board again to invest with NOP again
I read your post regarding your disposal of shares. I think it was a shame that you took that route. I hold what I consider to be a substantial amount of shares and have just taken advantage of my full offer. I too was losing money but decided to hang on in there and presently showing a profit. I have a figure that I wish to achieve per share and then will probably sell but who knows what the future holds. The shares do appear to go up and down on a daily basis but I'm thinking positively. I hope you recover your losses in the future.
