back in, maybe recoup some of my losses. RNS looks good.
Absolutely awful at 43%. No wonder there is no action here.
But 45k shares are worth less than a grand. Not even a coffee for an MM! For goodness sake keep a sense of proportion!
Have a good Xmas Mickey - I think NOP will have a much better 2016 with the funding now in place.
Hope not. Topped up today. I still have faith in the CEO and current business plan. Income from recent acquisition to help cover next yrs cost at POO average 47p. Plenty of potential in Italy and a friend in Shell
Me:-23.07p - my 2nd Eleven:- BLNX,CRND,IQE,PGD,TRT, VRS,
Current spread is a nonsense as when I did a dummy trade on TD Waterhouse it offered me a price of 3.05p to buy and yet spread on ADVFN was 2.5-3.75p. Need to get the rights offer out of the way and it will settle down. My assumption is we need to be in this one for the long haul and it could pay back very big. I currently hold nearly 500k shares and average price now just over 4p.
Good grief. You here! Not sure this is your sort of thing at all. Have taken up my meagre entitlement at a cost of about £50!
just the entitlement, to avoid dilution. Small potatoes in my case :)
Buys showing as sells. I got in at under 3p
All sells today and the sp rises 13.04%. The MMs must be trying to get their hands on our shares. Why else mark up so much? Is there something they know that we don't? After all if we can buy in the open offer at 3p who's going to buy at 3.75? Strange.
Previous holder and just got back in at what I think is bargain price.
I have also taken up the open offer. Like Mickey I hold a lot of trust in KB we can trust him.
Many apologies. I had overlooked the fact that AIM shares are now free of stamp duty - and IHT if held for 2 years before date of death!
Btw there is no stamp duty on AIM shares. Still got a few shares here although not posted for some time. I think NOP are doing their best here but the offer does not have a big enough discount for me to add to my few left. Just my opinion. My other oilie Faroe is also suffering despite fantastic fundamentals. Frustrating markets all round really.
If you buy in the market you will have to pay the going rate which may be more or less than the special offer price. Also if you take up the placing you will not pay stamp duty which you will if you buy in the market. All shares like this are risky but I have already told my broker to take up the offer. Debating whether to get extra which you can put in for with no guarantees you get them whatever you decide good luck!
Hi Just saw the open share offer at 3p and I was wondering if it makes sense subscribing considering the currently the price in the market is at 2.80p. Would it make sense to just buy them in the stock market at the discounted price? You can tell I'm new on this. Regards
If you bother to read the RNS in full you will see that offered shares cannot be at a price below the nominal value. So the issue of deferred shares is of a technical nature. As I always say " read what it says on the tin"! I must say it is refreshing to have a proper open offer for the participation of ordinary holders and not just I situations!
Published on Nov 17, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAjjrm01KVQ Keith Bush, chief executive of Northern Petroleum (LON:NOP), says acquiring assets in Northern Alberta, Canada is the start of the company’s strategy to strengthen its financial position. Last week Northern announced it would acquire assets currently producing around 211 barrels oil equivalent per day. Bush tells Proactive the work programme to be carried out over six months includes reinstating and refurbishing existing wells with the expectation of doubling production to over 400 barrels of oil a day. Bush predicts fairly low levels of production in Canada initially with the aim of growing production over two to three years which will fund projects including the company’s Italian portfolio which Bush describes as “value add.”
Another oiler looking for capital was Northern Petroleum which on Thursday said it was raising £1.2million through a share sale and launched an open offer for existing shareholders. It comes at it agreed the acquisition of additional production assets in Canada. 22256 showing as sold was a purchase made by myself. to take my holdings up to 50000. Although my original purchases were at 40p. so I do not understand why it is just showing a sale? Hoping for good news sometime in the future with NOP
Yes had an e-mail from KB just recently and without being specific he said that they were working on several things and hoped to have some news before the end of the year.
Small tick up in SP.Is there news on the way?
