A few thoughts http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/business/private-punter
Unfortunately the only way we can find out is wait until tomorrow.
'If' not 'I'd'
Wonder I'd today's sp movement is 'shaking the tree' ahead of tomorrow's preliminary results.
jump looks interesting, is there something going on in the background
Have just sold out - has been a good investment having bought @ 23p. Could be a very choppy Q4 for the markets so taking profits. GLA.
looks like those jolly big buyers recently dont agree with you
all out now...with good profit
Yep..u will be okay here. growth on last year so good results.
Some comment that may be of interest. http://www.privatepunter.co.uk/News/today-25-february-2015
Everything in line with expectations, revenue profit and margins all slightly up and future sales good, also don't see much of a rise today but its back to normal and nice and easy does it. Just how we like it.
Very quick first glance before heading off to work suggest trading although in line with expectations has been broadly flat. Nothing to get excited about. On the whole pretty boring. But, lets see what the market makes of it all; not very much I expect. Not expecting much if any move North in the share price. Rather disappointing but nothing desperately negative; just doesn't live up to what I thought may have been released. Regards CM
Interim results are out making good reading, very strong figures with double digit growth and continued stregth of performance through into the second half of the year, makes this a strong buy for continued growthplus potential aquisitions using the £10m cash reserves.
Good evening Boardguy, welcome to the board. This board tends to be a quiet board; it can go for days without anyone posting. That imo is no bad thing; better than having to wade through countless posts of drivel and irrelevancies to find something worth reading. Yes, according to a previous RNS, NET will report their 6 month results tomorrow. Looking at the last RNS it would suggest it will be positive and hopefully free of any "unexpected nasties"; although of course we just don't know. Personally, I am not expecting anything exceptional, it doesn't seem to happen that way with NET. I will be content with increasing revenue, profit, EPS, etc. and an increase in dividend. I expect to read about the contribution made by the acquisiton last year of Serengetti, and possibly news of any new contracts, although these are generally reported as and when they happen. A rise in the share price by close of play would be good and to see the start of a reversal of trend to a more positive direction. To see 60p again would be my short term aim and to secure a support base there whilst pushing for the mid to high 60s by mid year and to 70p plus by year end. I think the share price got ahead of itself earlier in the year along with a number of other shares and the retrace was inevitable. I always feel a little restless/nervous ahead of any results and seeing how the market reacts. Hopefully I/we will be able to rest a little easier after tomorrow. Good luck with MONI and all of your other investments you may have. Regards CM ps I hope you add to your holdings in NET because the share price has gone UP, not down!.
This board has been a bit quiet recently.. I've been 'in' Netcall since early last year and very happy so far. Also hold MONI for those who care to know. According to Netcall website, they annouce 6 month results tomorrow, so just wondering what people are expecting for this update and the year ahead? Recent pullback on the price seems to be taking it back to a norm/still slightly above norm position assuming a consistent growth over the last few years (avg around 40% share price growth per year if you take the last 5 years). I'll be adding to my position if the price lowers <50pps anytime soon. (STRONG BUY opinion is a general opinion, but currently holding and watching for the right topup point).
I definitely know what you mean I have the same problem, I like Netcall as it generally keeps you sane, and it pays a Divi too which is also very nice for an AIM share. Thinking of Netcall I just need to go and find my slippers and pipe its now the time to take it nice and easy. Cheers PP
A gentle trickle is fine with me, I've got enough others going up and down like a *****'s draws to keep me busy!
Warri yes it would be nice to see more volume, but as a general rule this share has always been a gentle trickle'r look at the last few years, its only since last November it has come a bit more volatile, now I believe the share is going back to its old ways of nice and easy does it. If your wanting an AIM share that is likely to double in the next sixth months then don't look here this has a different agenda, best place is to look in oils, software and bio technology. Cheers PP
To be honest it would just be nice to see the volumes lift a bit and the price begin a gradual creep up. I think there is still quite a lot of scope for upward movement over time.
Welcome to the board Warri. Yes, I think it is too much to expect the sp to hit 70 in 2 weeks time. 60 much more likely, 70 maybe later in the year all being well. Steady rise throughout the year with no spikes and rapid retraces would be nice. Regards CM
Given that we saw the sp hit 64 following the news that the results on 25th Feb (just 2 weeks now) would be very positive. (http://otp.investis.com/clients/uk/netcall/rns/regulatory-story.aspx?cid=101&newsid=387949) Is it too much to expect the sp to hit 70 in 2 weeks time? That would be 24% return in 2 weeks based on the current sp
Cheers CM. Seems as I expected. I only have a small amount to invest but as you say this seems much lower risk than the other option I had
