Before covid was a thing, 1 in 12 international passengers on a flight were British - more than any other country in the world. Pent up demand will mean numbers will still be pretty damn high this year. That's 126 million. That's a lot of potential overpriced private PCR test revenue and testing machines, before you even consider govt contracts and sales to other countries. None of these sales individually are probably worth an RNS, but in total that could be £50m+ revenue alone. World will take years to be fully vaccinated and even then boosters will be needed and testing especially between countries for the next 3-5 years imo.

The British consortium might be getting all the headlines over the next month or so, but as above, revenues for this year I reckon will be on a par with last year, and quite possibly the year after. We could have £300m cash in the bank by end of 2022. Sooner or later the market will apply an appropriate p/e. The fact nova are very coy about sales isn't because there aren't any, but I'm now coming round to the conclusion the SP is being kept down deliberately, news surpressed and little in the way of acquisitions outside of manufacturers directly related to our cause, rather tha diversification, for one particular reason...
Yes credit MikeSilver for the screenshot of the test result - didn’t realise it was you from Facebook! Cheers
Whose PCR test do Collinson use? Looking at this page of their frequently asked questions which was updated on the 11/02/21 the PCR test can use a swab sample or saliva sample.

Also most importantly, Biograd are £20-30 cheaper than any other testing across the country from what I've seen
I enquired about the test as that's my test ^. They're using Eswab for the actual test and then Q16/32 for results. I would imagine all Biograd sites will have the same Primer Design kit. The question is would it be leased machines then paid on throughout or outright purchases ? I presume the latter which then leads to follow up use as we get embedded in various testing once covid dies down and hopefully continued use of our kit.
I was chatting to friend yesterday and our conclusion was in order to not find ourselves in a national lockdown ever again and the damage that would do and the effect on an already very fragile economy, that testing carries on for the forseable.
Not at the height of the Pandemic levels but still at a substantial amount with possibly local lock downs if a cluster develops, still a long way to go.
Note - MAG is a leading UK airport group and owns and operates three UK airports - Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands, so if we have a foothold in Manchester then there’s chance we’ll have foothold in East Midlands airport and London Stansted, these airports have c62m passengers each year. So once air travel reopens properly then you potentially have your ongoing revenues for at least a couple of years. Whilst the U.K. is ahead of the game in terms of vaccinations the rest of Europe/ rest if the world lag well behind and will do for a couple of years. So there will be continued need for private testing to enter foreign countries. No need to worry here guys, this is one of the safest investments I have in my portfolio currently.
We're still in the dark over where the long term revenue generation is to come from (more from that in Q2) but it's becoming clear imo that 2021 revs are likely to exceed 2020s...
Routy1 the same biograd which is recruiting 150 extra staff and massively expanding their testing capacities.....what was one of the lines in the rns recently about high throughout genesig pcr testing and private sector....check out the LinkedIn love in between Primerdesign and novacyt.
It’s a Fit to Fly by Biograd Diagnostics who use Primer Design’s tests at Manchester Airport - the guy who’s screenshot it is posted it to me on the French Facebook forum
I’m sure there are but that one is from Manchester - more evidence will come forward as more people flying.
Great to see Q machines being used.
Euro Tunnel also requires a negative PCR test.
