"...Conclusion “ shares could easily double If all this was not good enough to excite investor interest, it is well worth noting that the group management estimates that the sale of 100% of the Islandmagee gas storage development project could generate between £35m to £50m that is more than the groups current market capitalisation of £30m, with its shares at 17.15p. They have trebled in price since last November and have peaked at 29p within the last year. At the current price medium-term investors could easily see the shares double."
Currently plan is 20% of Chinese will be sequenced by PCR in the UK and France according to various websites.
I guess they can spot them by their passports if not on a direct flight from China.
Covid ain't going anywhere for a long time unfortunately

Americas COVID-19 Testing Market to Grow by 1.61X its Current Valuation, Surpassing US$ 7.2 Bn in 2031: Future Market Insights
Rising severity of COVID-19 due to frequent mutation of virus is prompting the market players to do research and develop new testing kits which will offer early and precise diagnosis of the COVID-19 and effective patient care, says Future Market Insights.
Strategic merger and acquisition and new product launches are on the cards to cater to rising demand. Rapid spreading of the virus in the world will encourage market players to expand their production capacity to cater to the rising demand for testing.
For instance,
In June 2021, Novacyt Group launched two PathFlow COVID-19 antigen lateral flow tests (LFTs) in order to explore new opportunities in point-of-care (POC) settings and strengthen its COVID-19 test kit portfolio.
Biomerieux SA recently launched VIDAS anti-SARS-CoV-2 serology tests which is CE mark certified and can detect the presence of antibodies for SARS-COV-2.
Some of the leading companies operating in the Americas COVID-19 testing market are:
Sky Medical Supplies &Equipment LLC.
Sugentech, Inc.
Groupe NOVACYT !!!!!
Aurora Instruments Ltd.
PRIMA Lab SA
SD Biocapteur, INC.
Gold Standard Diagnostics

Vietnam has uncovered a new Covid-19 variant combining characteristics of the two existing variants first found in India(#B16172) & UK (#B117)” Health Minister said. “The new variant is very dangerous” and “spreads quickly by air”
Very worrying - let’s get Vietnam on the red list before it’s too late.

Talking about PCR tests needed for travel once airports open up properly...
Here’s a spoiler - demand will be huge and much bigger than current capacity.

Exactly my thoughts Saintsmith - nothing else makes sense he’s definitely keeping good news under wraps whether it’s for a take over or to let funds buy in cheap to stabilise the price moving forward is anyone’s guess.
Holding long term and buying dips so if I can get more cheap shares along the way so be it.
Huge news!!
From UK Gov website - testing here for years - time for the re-rate
Private testing market
The government anticipates that private sector provided testing will form a crucial part of day-to-day testing as we move into the long-term management of COVID-19 and reopen the economy. We therefore expect that this will require considerable expansion of domestic production and potentially an increase in imports to ensure there is sufficient supply to meet demand.
Naturally demand for COVID-19 tests has grown greatly since the start of the pandemic. Both in the UK and around the world frontline medical services like our world leading NHS worked tirelessly to rapidly increase testing capacity on a massive scale. This demand (though less than at the peak of the pandemic) will remain for years to come as preventative measures through testing and early identification becomes the norm in managing the virus. We expect strong demand from businesses to test employees and, in certain circumstances, customers. For these reasons, we require a strong private sector capability in testing. Though we expect demand to be for the most effective tests, and thus the market to respond to this over time with an increase in quality, this will take too long to meet our short-term public health requirement as such a market failure currently exists, and regulation can remedy in the short term.
This has got Novacyt written all over it IMO...
The Test and Trace scheme - which has a two-year budget of £37billion - is set to become a 'permanent part of our national defence', the UK Government has said.
The intention was outlined in the Government's plan to 'transform' and reform the public health system that was published today - and includes the creation of two new health agencies.
The policy paper, titled 'Transforming the public health system: reforming the public health system for the challenges of our times' has been released on the Government's website.
The policy says the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic "has shone a light on our public health system" and "what needs to change in public health".
And it explains that that "genomic surveillance" - the tracking of genomic changes to a virus - and "our growing test and trace capability" will "form a permanent part of our national defence".
"Our experience has shown we need a relentless focus on our health security, while also preventing ill health to improve the general health of the population," reads the paper.

Watch the attached from today’s BBC News.
The proposed EU vaccine passports include the results of Covid Tests - you still need a negative (PCR) test whether you have had a vaccine or not.
This is why I believe PCR testing for travel will be the biggest revenue generator for Novacyt over the next 10 years (if not taken over).
25 new jobs in last 24 hours - big news coming very shortly IMO.

Great summary of recent news
It’s a Fit to Fly by Biograd Diagnostics who use Primer Design’s tests at Manchester Airport - the guy who’s screenshot it is posted it to me on the French Facebook forum
I’m sure there are but that one is from Manchester - more evidence will come forward as more people flying.
Great to see Q machines being used.
Euro Tunnel also requires a negative PCR test.
