Agreed , If The trials are going well , the uptick could very well be sustainable .

We may get an RNS soon about the PFAS remediation trial in the USA which would be good timing ;-)
That is exactly one of the questions I asked myself Shearclass. I calculated £50m but the assumptions will be broadly similar. Seemingly able & incentivised management with a good product emerging at the right time. Competence x Zeitgeist.
Much more scope.
If Connie has good news for us .
Well done All Lucky holders.

There seems to be a push behind the stock at last. Their PFAS solution provides an excellent growth opportunity, and to have a strong balance sheet and decent board helps greatly too.
Let’s see if we can break the 70s to £1 this time.
Some things that I liked about this company when purchasing:
(1) Insiders have significant holdings (Connie Mixon: 12.8%, Hal Alper: 6.5%)
(2) No significant dilution in past 7 years
(3) Debt-free
(4) 2019 market cap was 5x compared to today; 2014 market cap was 10x (disclaimer: I have no idea whether or not there was a dilution prior to 2015 as I do not have that data)
(5) The development of the PFAS products at just the right time
(6) I see the possibility of multi-bagging from this level within a year.
(Do your own research)
A huge market is opening up for Mycelx. It has the right technology and is based in the USA.Here are some benefits of Mycelx's PFAS removal technology:Since 2006, research and development have driven this enterprise’s success, from laboratory testing to full-scale in-field deployment.PFAS Global is the only technology to remove all PFAS analytes to below detectable trace levels.Outperforms all other PFAS removal solutionsSmallest footprint – 1/20th size compared to GAC and Resins
Agree, I've taken a position this morning - hadn't quite realised the value disconnect here. Was £2.70 in early 2019 and there has been zero dilution since. If this was a new IPO they would be priced at a minimum of £40m market cap IMO.
With the Biden administration planning to spend billions to remove PFAs from the environment and Mycelx being a company that does *exactly that* and a market cap of just £8.5m and no debt, there surely is a PE company will to take a punt here. It would be pennies for a company like Elementis. It's an amazing opportunity.
Price still rising. I think somebody has recognised the significance of the announcement.
Wow, that could be huge. Great find! I'm now wondering if the PFA aspect of their business could potentially become the dominant one.
Buys at full ask coming through.
Good find panda1. It may explain today's rise. Onwards and upwards.
Also worth reading this article from yesterday:

Very positive news for MYX
https://www.wsj.com/articles/biden-administration-seeks-to-accelerate-cleanup-of-toxic-forever-chemicals-11634565600?st=fkxuj0vq80n51wc&reflink=article_email_share
Well, at least it's positive. A lot of the rise is due to the excessive spread though.
The simmering continues.
Good news from Connie may help a reversal towards £1.

It does seem to have consolidated at these levels so could well move up past the recent high in the 70s.
Could be back over 40p today .
Longer term things are slowly boiling up .

Accidents happens, this is the solution this company has
more contracts to come....
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41893-021-00774-8
as oil is on demand, shipping oil and transportation does have mishaps, so I reckon MYX would see more businesses for their and services.
GLA and Dyor
Yes, £100m is a bit high for now as we only had $14m in 2018, which was a good year.
Who knows what their PFAS solution will bring, but for now I will be happy with over $10m.
Gidget
keeping it more realistic, £100m is not much when some of these oil Disasters costing billions of dollars to remedy the situation.
you never know when the next big contract coming from.
some of the oil Disasters are so big it destroys billions.
