I know but read the article
"Well I thought I’d join in watching you guys for so long,"
a voyeur. ewe.
sure you did.
BBLs are 100% underwritten by HMG, there is zero capital impact on metro neither do they assume any credit risk. The only thing they get is 2.5% pa as like a handling fee
Well I thought I’d join in watching you guys for so long, I quite fancied metro bank at one bit too. Btw Google BBL defaults and read the FT article
That comes up I don’t think you want them too much.
"I often read these message boards for fun, I used to have an account and posted ..."
for a mere reader, your doing a fair good job of posting..................
Well with that kind of outcome in the horizon you have to ask management why have the not put the business up for sale. The upcoming H1 update will make or break this company. I will not want to stick around to next September if the update is poor
Big smoke I can’t remember my account from that long ago.. all I can remember is people posting inane rubbish about mysterious hedge funds ect
£500m *13%*5years = £325m, that's a massive transfer of value from equity holders to bond holders. Significantly more than the current market cap
Cud’s I really think you are quite delusional...
You probably shouldn’t invest in anything...
As for the rest of the threads same people, I wouldn’t worry too much about the BBL’s
https://www.ft.com/content/8a551c37-2de8-446b-a8b8-d4a61d33ef73
Doesn’t sound like you would be missing out on much..
Bond holders will get the last laugh, when metro go to issue another 500m of mrels in 2021 don't expect to pay any less than 13%
it's not even 9am...............................................
I see on twitter the BBLs are still not up, metro has 150k current account holders, wonder how many will stick around
makes a lost of sense. not.
unless you mean you got banned. ahhhhhhhh...........
This is the thing that’s stupid cud “bond holders haven’t helped either” people who hold bonds have the expectation of money being returned they sell down because that expectation is less likely they sell down to protect themselves... metro isn’t a religion but you make it seem like a cult that it’s everyone’s divine duty to hold and buy more even if the fundamentals aren’t saying great things .. anyway the 26th is the next payment date..
Used to post - years ago now I just read the stupid instead of getting bogged down in it..
good for you. and thanks for wafting your condescension around.
you used to post, but LSE has you at post 1. hmmmmm.
I often read these message boards for fun, I used to have an account and posted on bpc and RRL, anyway. I’m always amazed how the people on theese boards think their posts have any baring on market performance or anything at all, when it’s down it’s always the evil shorts and derampers... people constantly looking for reasons the market isn’t working for them.. the posters of this board at most and I’m only saying it because I saw some guy said he owned 0.1% count for maybe half a million £ in the Mcap nothing at all.. anyone who can seriously move markets or make or break stocks will not be reading the mumblings of some home investors.. the only reason I’m here to look is because I own bonds from you guys and I’m trying to work out if metro will be good for the cash or not... just take a step back with the conspiracies great to read by the way, I’m sure you’ll all great people too, no amount of posts affects the underlying if it’s good it goes up if it’s bad it goes down... eventually. After June the 27th depending on the outcome I may even look at this share one way or another.. albeit the broader market is in better shape but I bet if you stick about this might come good...
yeah, guid yin. very clever. next.
logical thinking like setting up a LSE account 2020 and deramping for cash?
non events?
0.02% is nothing really though.
it appears so
