I can see your frustration with the share performance to date there has been the CMA investigation ongoing and now today historical claims of sex workers in the Gaurdian through internal investigation founding nothing and results passed onto the authorities. The CMA probably come to nothing or worst people get sacked and company fined to what amount who knows. But I’ll stay in till no more and results day 9th June as I think the group as a whole will be trading well and look cheap which is the best time to buy as things become clear this could well bounce a fair bit.
disatrous share
someone knows something
For sure looks like time to dump these and move on to something new.
jeeze bad show so far
the authorities having one bite at this "corruption" cherry is bad enough.....but a second nibble smells....methinks we need a more robust statement.
Nice little bump back up to mid 60's pending .... I took the opportunity to top up too
Phil Bentley buys another 200000 worth shares I would think cma investigation will not come to anything as the company has all ready stated seem cheap cheap.
My reading of rns is that they tender system indiacted that perhaps multiple lotts would not be awarded and mto withdrew from one or more. Can't see a problem here have been involved in such bids myself - drop way overdone so bougth anothe £1.8 k.
let us see late 60s pls
Divi payout next weds, wonder if that will give share price a nudge up with loads of auto re-invested of the divi??
I am very surprised at the low mcap given the annual profit will be 20-25% of overall mcap!! It's bonkers. We should be at least 100p+ in my opinion especially when the economy is opening up.
Looking at my in-tray this morning to file my share holdings into the manic depressive drawer which holds Saga,Avon Protection,IAG and Rolls Royce but looking forward to putting my Mitie share holding into the todger pulling drawer alongside BP,Shell and Imperial Brands..lol
Yea moving up slowly it’s a boring businesses it’s not tech but keeps surprising on upgrades .Hopefully Serco another holding of mine may pull out another upgrade 2 GL all.
on the way now!
Did not even open up this morning could buy at 58.7 just wow what to people want.
WoW they seem to be going great guns no wonder directors holding on to there shares. There cheaper now than last 2 profit upgrades unreal if they don’t move much im in for some more.
Think will see run up to 70p before trade update 30th jan. Good luck all
Does any forsee a end to this early 60s .... we need to be pushing on through to the early 80s !!
Hit my top up point yesterday so added few thousand more.
Phil Bentley has exercised his nil cost again.
Mr Bentley has settled the charge to Income Tax and National Insurance in cash arising from exercising these options and therefore he retains the 425,094 shares.
He is ever increasing his share holding at ever higher prices this show his long term confidence in the turn around at Mitie in which I’m sure will show in share price soon.Out sourcing is a growing business Secro also comments on this through the CEO is a bit miffed at having to not bid for some gov contracts to do with defence just to look good on ESG so I’m sure Mitie will take full advantage.Any spare funds will be looking to add to my holding.GL all
I suppose it comes down to availability of space. I've seen some street charging ports. My neighbour runs a lead from his front window to his car daily. He gets about 30 miles off the battery I think. The problem with battery cars is that one can't hear them coming.
I'm not 'au fait' with the technology but I thought that the concept had lost it's way and was considered to be a deadend.
In at least one country they have swappable pnp type batteries -pop one out, pop one in.
"Britain is failing to roll out enough public charging points to match the growing demand for electric cars, the SMMT adds.
The number of plug-in cars potentially sharing a public on-street charger jumped from 11 in 2019 to 16 in 2020. That 16:1 ratio is much worse than other major economies, such as South Korea (3:1), the Netherlands (5:1), China (9:1), France (10:1), Belgium and Japan (both 13:1). " Source ; Guardian today.
Hopefully something Mitie can benefit from ?.
