Scott After halving your share holding,[ if you did] why are you still in? Again if you were in at 8 pence you bought in knowing all that you are claiming. So you do not make sense being invested as you claim. I only mention these failures of yours in case new forum members actually believe you. Lol
Just want this board to go back to the friendly informative community it was. This RNS wait is making people sick, I recommend 80mg of Iclaprim.
Motif would have had discussions about deals over the last year or 2 and are probably sitting on conditional offers or discussed terms of deals, so there's no way they would be able to buy shares at the moment or for the last year or more. IMO they will be insiders to all sorts of price sensitive information.
If the saga continues, they could at least in the next capital increase...
There is absolutey no reason for the Board, not to pick up stocks!!!
GL still has a high salary and got the options for free!!! He had an idea and got money to develope this idea. In bear case he is loosing his time as investment, but no money.
Scott, if your break even price is 8 pence you either bought in fairly recently having knowledge of genius leader and bod or, you diluted down to 8p. Either way you have not followed your own advice. Bit foolish either way.
It doesn’t matter who the croupier is. It’s this casino you’re playing in that matters.
The only thing is the wheel could spin for some time yet before it lands on a colour!!
If you’re in a casino and have lost £100 and the croupier says - I’ll tell you what if you bet £20 on red and it come up,I’ll give you £1000 what would you do?
Hi Scott - that’s usually the way at it is with most CEOs these days. Look at Jeff Fairburn from Persimmon. Not exactly an entrepreneur but a company employee who got an HND at college and worked his way up to CEO and trousered over £100m in incentives. The only reason was governments help to buy supported by taxpayer. An extreme example but all CEOs are the same. Wouldn’t stop me from supporting another fund raise for motif if it gets over the line. Why stop now?
Hi Benjie,
I did ask GL about this at the AGM knowing the answer but his response as to having “ no skin in the game” well I have millions of options so am just as aligned as the SH.
It us just how the US pharma system works re compensation
well put Benjie.there are sadly a large number of "lifestyle" companies across the aim spectrum .however i have never regarded motif as falling into that category and suggestions that it is/was imo completely ignore the very real achievement in getting iclaprim this far at this cost.rest assured the incentives for the board (and II investors) to get this to approval are immense
If you look at the latest accounts £116m has been spent so far by the company developing this product. Most of the shares are held by institutional investors. You’re not trying to tell me that they would walk away from a final push to get this drug approved if there was an indication from the FDA that this is a possibility with further work.
The incentives for all directors is high. Ok the CEO doesn’t own shares but he has over 5m in options which kick in at over36p all the way to 2024. Look at note 16 in the accounts. All the directors have meaningful options.
So it it up to the board to convince investors that it can be done. the institutional investors have deep pockets
exactly ivy.too many straw men being set up here imo.doesnt mean we are out of the woods but at least it puts matters in a proper perspective
Nice post Boom.
We are all totally clear where the target market for Iclaprim is that is the standard of care or “ gold standard” but only in a very targeted of ABSSSI patients which is those patients currently receiving Vancomycin who are renally impaired and/ or have more co morbidities like Diabetes or being elderly or obese etc.
Your other points are well made
Good grief - nobody has ever claimed that Iclaprim would become the gold standard treatment for all cases of absssi or that it would replace Vancomycin.
There are always posters who claim that one drug should capture the whole market. If they're positive about a stock they use this to validate (usually ridiculous) future valuations and if they're negative they use it to explain why the drug will fail. These posters are either genuine but naïve or being disingenuous. Whether it's an cancer drug or an antibiotic, the markets are vast - and bios don't have to better the SOC treatment for every patient.
As we saw on last week, it can take nerves of steel to hold bios and it's so easy to create panic.
eleven posts already today.3 by 6.4 am.what motivation exists for someone to post 3 times before 7am.possibly different time zones? for a less tendentious post and as an antidote to sp's relentless obloquy i suggest reading ivy detailed post from earlier today.it warrants very close reading imo
So your clearly paid by Vancomycin to work the board and cause mischief !
As long as we remind people of Scott’s admission on Friday to an 8pence break even, it says it all about whatever he posts.
Break even price of 8 pence, darn right want his posts noticed for what they are !
Jesus Christ children, ignore the professional troll!!!! Filter him and ignore!!!
Or are you all working for SP250 and posting about him in order to get his posts recognised? Hmm.......
Bermudashorts - brilliant, brilliant and even more brilliant! Nice to see some humour amongst the OTT seriousness
Not that it matters but it was SP250...Friday 18.39...heres his post below
My break even is 8p and I am absolutely cr@@@ing it. Glad you are so calm
I believe there is more than one Scott posting and the 8p was an error by one of them. Especially the cra@@ng himself declaration. At 8 p that means I should be standing on tower bridge with a razor in my hand at my average.
