Does anyone know what the BoD's plans are for the company's future?
Are they just continuing to draw a salary until all the money runs out or do they actually have a plan?
To find out what is happening:-
"Please join by sending confirmation of your shareholdings screenshots and email…
Alanclarke1000@hotmail.com
You will be then be linked to the Telegram shareholders action group."
No thanks. I'm not signing up for another group just to find out nothing's changed since the RTO failed.
If there are any updates from the company I'm sure they'll end up here.
The Shareholders group already have more information than is shared by Mtb to you so you are wrong on that point.
I suspect what HSD is thinking is that how does a larger Shareholders Group affect any likely outcomes? If there is an outcome beneficial to both BoD and shareholders it is likely to happen however many people are in the SH Group - or am I being too simple?
And ... on the downside ... how does anyone know the SH Group is not being steered by bad actors - I know, I doubt it too but you just have to look at the sophistication of some of the financial scams out there and wonder.
Kettle - "The Shareholders group already have more information than is shared by Mtb to you so you are wrong on that point."
You can't expect to be taken seriously when your investor's group is run on the principle of "Tell me or I won't be your friend any more!".
What are you, five?
You can carry on being negative on a share chat site where possibly half the people aren't even shareholders. Then the very likely outcome is the company goes into administration and the end of Iclaprim proceeds (if any). Or you could join the many in the Shareholder Action Group who have all had to prove they are shareholders and with decent leadership. Your choice!
Dote59 "you could join the many in the Shareholder Action Group who have all had to prove they are shareholders and with decent leadership"
Thanks. I'll join as soon as I see some proof of that 'decent leadership' claim.
You wont see it because you cannot prove your share holding, just trying to get information from us on what is happening. Nice Try HSD.
Is there any point to being that secretive??
Disappointing FDA decision killed this, who's to blame, the BOD or the FDA? Everything was going great guns until the 'NO'
It’s not secretive proof of shares means you can vote, if you cant vote no point in you joining. If someone was new to all this it would be a great process to be in and learn a little.
Hi all,
Just mailed Alan with a screenshot of my now delisted shares. Sort of scary how £41k can finally disappear in just a line on a text like that.
Looking forward to learning something along the way with the SAG - although perhaps am still a bit too angry with both myself and the company to be of much use at the moment!
I really don't see the point in any bickering here. What's happened has happened. At least the SAG might be able to get some answers on how it was all handled so badly, from not sorting the issues that triggered the NRL to the awful nature of the proposed RTO deal.
GLA.
missthepenny62 - "At least the SAG might be able to get some answers on how it was all handled so badly, from not sorting the issues that triggered the NRL to the awful nature of the proposed RTO deal."
I don't even think it was handled badly.
I'm pretty sure the medical community simply weren't aware until a few years ago that some gram-positive antibiotics could cause liver damage. They had no reason to think it could cause a problem, so they weren't concerned about it. That would explain why the FDA didn't need that data until it was too late.
As for the RTO deal, we were offered the same price for our shares that they were worth at the start of last year. That doesn't seem unfair to me.
If the rest of the group don't think these points are relevant I really don't see what I'd have to gain from joining them.
I'm not a lawyer but, surely, if there are any votes that affect the future of any incipient company, wouldn't the Actual Shareholders Group be entitled and required to vote??
Yes your right so the more true shareholders {proof required } the better. There are some OUCH stories on large holdings and losses but you will have to join to read them but a nice positive honest group.
Jackdaw.... absolutely right, if , at some point in time, a new proposal is put forward by the BoD on the future of Motif, then ALL shareholders will be eligible to vote, not just those that are members of the 'Little Boys Club'
GLA
The Club you HAVE to PROVE you actually hold shares before you can voice an opinion. If Lse did that it would save a lot of wasted speech.
The only announcement from the BoD will be ADMINISTRATION due to the losses after the failed RTO. Iclaprim is held elsewhere now and administration would end any potential value to Motif shareholders. Gold wants an end to this situation and will retain his reputation by blaming shareholders for voting down his wonderful RTO. Any other outcome can only be achieved by joining the SHAREHOLDERS group to have your say and a vote.
Kettle - "The Club you HAVE to PROVE you actually hold shares before you can voice an opinion. If Lse did that it would save a lot of wasted speech."
There's not much left to have an opinion about.
You would not know HSD as you are not willing to show you have shares.
Not an advocate for freedom of speech then, eh, Mr.Kettle !!
You probably fully support what's happening in Hong Kong and Belarus at the moment as well !!
Stalinism Rools OK !!
I only know if i was so against the Shareholder group i would prove my share holding , call them all idiots and leave the group to make a point. Not pretend i own shares like all the idiot rampers/derampers we have to put up with across the share board.
Kettle - " if i was so against the Shareholder group i would prove my share holding , call them all idiots and leave the group to make a point."
I don't think they're idiots and I'm not really into name-calling anyway.
If they think they can achieve anything from being in that group I hope they're right. But I have no reason to believe that's the case. I'm sorry Kettle but until you can prove otherwise I'm not willing to waste my time and engage with you any further.
