Watch for the TR1 .if you cant see a buyer in the background you shouldnt be investing mon amis.
Who is the "big" buyer ?
Aye yer right .on the other hand theres also a big buyer scooping them up.
Invesco are ditching and it's got nothing to do with the recent placing diluting their holding.
Mallinckrodt in **** in US
for giving us the benefit of your many posts
Agree, I would have more confidence if the placing was at a premium of 30 or above. The way I see it now, we will rise here, but the rise will have nothing to justify it, ok , we may have an rns that implies something and the herd will start ramping it up........but when the dust settles and the sp drops like an anchor, we will be left with pi's left holding the placing shares which they will have paid a premium for, only to see another placing in the near future at an even lower price. Dont get me wrong, you can make money here....as a day trader and not an investor. Since Woodfords demise, all these small start up bio's have lost their backing in the market. Gla
The problem here is there aren’t any real big investors on board, Invesco selling why? The recent disguised placement at 18p was disgraceful really. Why didn’t they offer us investors the chance to buy at 18p?? With 20% (roughly) of the company still to be sold it’s going to be a long long time before this becomes an investment.
The FDA currently make it very very difficult and costly for small pharma like mereo to get FDA approval. The big companies pay huge backhanders to them to get there’s approved and in a timely manor.
You only have to look at what happened at motif to realise what could happen here but the thing is it happens very quickly, one dodgy RNS and it could be 3p!! If invesco and link had sold out I feel a punt may be worth it but with those still actively selling it doesn’t currently make sense to invest.
Nasdaq close 2.40 USD (+3.45) next week we will see if the SP is in process of rerating
Rns....not rands
NicetoMichu.....agree could be possible, but why only those two reported and as you say percentages a bit off
Additional shares added approx 11%
Link down approx 12.5%
Invesco down approx 10%
Maybe I'm just a bit weary of news reported in rand's......they often say one thing but it can mean something else...lol. Time will tell, gla
10% more shares now in existence so Link in keeping the same number of shares will have a lower proportion of the total now in issue ? All other existing - declarable and non declarable- holdings similar.. may be small off loading or adding in parallel in some cases too...
Why would he buy Invesco ect shares when he will be providing the funding going forward....at a price he calls
More than likely the New investor had agreed to take an amount of shares and are now on the market buying more displacing invesco and / Link as they see an huge opportunity here
For a long time dealings in this stock were sporadic at best on Nasdaq. Now Nasdaq is taking the lead. Given that an alliance on the brittle bone disease product [potentially blockbuster status] has a decent chance of being with an American major then maybe, just maybe, there is something in the wind.
Invesco and link offloading, a new investor buying in at 18, with the same investor on standby to supply more funds at an even lower price I presume.........even though I thought this sp was about to hit the roof, I am now thinking it has a better chance of tanking until all new funds have been allocated. Gla
Well rns is here at least woodford and invesco have offloaded more and price holding up.
With all the recent movement theres talk of news on stocktwits Usa.
And thats me back in .this share can move up at the drop of a hat.
Gathering a nice head of steam!
Funding in place with shares in sticky investor hands and an imminent meeting with FDA!

Finishing price equivalent to 35p over here, nice if we can catch up today or even better, push it a tad higher.....we are not far of cash in hand at this price.
MPH has been underperforming MREO by 15% during the last 6 month

Nasdaq Close 2.32 (+26.21%)
Looks a lot more promising than it did a couple of days again. Feels like the price has been heavily manipulated behind the scenes when you look at the movement since October . Flying on the Nasdaq at the moment at USD 2.30 so maybe it will move a lot higher over the next few days now funding is sorted?
Director incentives set at $1.84?
Quite a premium do they know where this is going?
