Because I was expecting the half year results to be last week and I'm impatient. : )
He's just banked some profit. Probably bought in to one of the other risers or bought a new Golf racket.
He only sold 50,000 shares on August 3rd. Not exactly a huge amount.
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/oNC-jyGObvJmNxZu8UOuXbqWsFU/appointments States he was a director before at Mi-Pay and resigned in 2014.
Anyone know who he is?
Yes Matador. Hopefully get something soon.
They know how to drag it on don't they?
James Anthony Leek reduced holding from 4.1% to 3.98%. Sold 50,000 shares on August 3rd.
I am heavily biased here, but I think the longer until we get the trading update the better it is for us shareholders. If things were flatlining or transaction values decreasing from 2016 I think they would have buried that news last week with the Contract Extension news. They even stated earlier in the year that transaction values in 2017 continue to grow as do margins. I think the news last week was a little taster for bigger things to come.
I think I might forgive that error Tom ;-)
Sorry meant to write final results for year 2016.
Tomshare is like having your own personal MPAY update app - thanks Tom. Much appreciated! Onwards and upwards!
Mi-Pay perfectly positioned to take full advantage of developments in online payments industry. From Final Results Mi-Pay 2017. "We connected with Amazon Payments, being the first to deliver their payments solution to the operator community and delivering 'in-app' top ups to a number of our clients during the year." http://uk.businessinsider.com/amazon-has-big-plans-to-disrupt-the-payments-industry-2017-7?r=US&IR=T Also from Goldman Sachs: "We see $28 trillion in online spending growing to $51 trillion over 10 years, driving $200 billion in new payments fee revenue"
Trading Update will be here soon, great news coming from all angles. Growth market, cashless payments are the future. 25p by end of month I reckon. Just added more shares today holding 56000 now.
A little recap.... From the Final Results issued April 5th 2017 they stated: “The group said it benefitted as consumers continue to migrate to digital payment channels, while eight of its top ten customers INCREASED their payment transaction value processed. That led to REVENUES INCREASING by 10% year-on-year to £3.3mln for the 12 months to 31 December 2016.” The next bit is very telling and gives us great optimism for the imminent trading update: "TRANSACTION VOLUMES HAVE CONTINUED TO GROW INTO 2017, WHILE GROSS MARGINS REMAIN STRONG, MI-PAY SAID."
Thanks Tom. I certainly will be holding here and I am experienced in AIM market and yes I agree that a lot of people lack patience. I am just s little surprised that there are so few trades but like you say, this will probably change once people realise the potential here. GLA
Bloody update, It was due on the 3rd! : )
A lot of people also just buy when they see a rise and hence waiting for news people get bored, sell up and chase a rainbow somewhere else. We saw that on Thursday too. I counted 4 sells over Thur/Fri. These were all from buys on Thursday and all sold at a loss. Sure way of losing money on AIM. Patience is needed and I will. Sdrtisnly be accumulating at these levels.
Hi Phirpo it's also because Mi-Pay is relatively unknown. Also a lot of people don't understand how undervalued we really are. Once people cotton on we will see and increase in volume. The spread will decrease and with few shares in public hands will see this rise very nicely. With a market cap of only 2 x revenue really is a joke when some of our competitors are up to 22 x revenue. Our time will come though.
Ok cheers Mata, I hope to top up soon. I will bide my time and wait for any drops (if they occur). Good luck all
People are concerned with the spread. They want to know if they decide to sell they'll not risk losing too much. it should close up after results. When they finally release them : )
Why so few trades despite the positive coverage and such a positive vibe about this share? Puzzled.
