Not sure anything can move the bid.
Excellent! Looks like things can happen in August. Fingers crossed that's the first of a few more RNSs this month!
That's one big piece in place next for the biggest
Morning.
That's another box ticked at least.
Let’s bloody hope so. Painful wait here.
Should release the brakes
That's better 100% owned now probably what cotec was waiting for so we owned hypromag outright
Nothing happens in August
I suspect it'll drop in a month or so - happy hour SP before then I guess/hope.
I'm still highly confident everything will come off here... just wish they would get the party started! I've got some more dosh on the table ready to shove in if it drops another penny... so, for now... not too bothered if it wanders a little more... surely news by the end of next week??
Having said that the full ownership of HyproMag news and the follow-on newsflow that will unlock is now overdue...They give out builders estimates when comes to timelines here :)
They are engaged in multiple game-changer talks with potential partners/investors plus grant funding on everything, down to the final few points for the MDA 'Something to bare in mind for all our investors, this is the largest commercial investment in Malawi for over a decade ' Alex Lemon...
MM just pulling this down with that spread any small sell down it goes any small buy keep it down... they know this is going to pop on the right news...
An update on ALL our activities as to where we are with the projects we had an upbeat investor presentation and it sounded like things were moving in the right direction especially awaiting Malawi and Cotec.
China’s overseas investment in metals and mining set to hit record
Beijing intensifies efforts to lock up access to renewable energy supply chain
China’s metals and mining investments overseas are on track to hit a record this year, new data shows, as the country races to secure resources to defend its position as the world’s biggest producer of electric vehicles, batteries, solar panels and wind turbines.
In the first half of this year, Chinese investments and new contracts in the mining and metals sector topped $10bn, according to a report from the Green Finance & Development Center at Fudan University in Shanghai reviewed by the Financial Times. That figure is more than the 2022 full-year total, and puts this year’s investments on track to exceed the previous record of $17bn in 2018.

Great to see. Very positive noises. Still feels like Groundhog day though. Every day that goes by with no news the BoD loses credibility in my eyes
An example of how keen the USA is to fund our sector.
Lynas Says U.S. Doubles Funding for Heavy Rare Earths Plant

Dow Jones News
Lynas Rare Earths (ASX:LYC)
Tuesday 1 August 2023
By Rhiannon Hoyle
Lynas Rare Earths said it has signed an updated contract with the U.S. Defense Department to build a heavy rare earths plant in Texas that includes a more-than doubled fiscal contribution from the government for the project.
Australia-listed Lynas said the U.S. government now intends to contribute roughly $258 million to the project, up from about $120 million in June 2022. The revised contract follows detailed design work and cost updates since the initial design was completed, Lynas said.
The company recently bought a large site in Seadrift, Texas, where it intends to develop both heavy and light rare earths separation plants.
"This further support by the DoD demonstrates the priority being given to developing robust and resilient rare earth supply chains," said Amanda Lacaze, the miner's chief executive
Good to see some chunky "unknowns"

MMs flipping shares now to my eyes - usually a good sign.
Fingers crossed for at least one RNS this week. Or a press release from the Malawi Gov...
'The Malawi government is not leaving the sector’s success to chance. Several measures have been put in place to enhance the growth and profitability of mining. To encourage investment, the government has implemented tax incentives and established a mining and minerals regulatory authority. Moreover, it has identified roads leading to potential major mining projects for upgrading.
The government has also opened discussions with the Ministry of Energy to ensure power supply to these major mining projects. Other strategies include the introduction of community development agreements for large-scale mining projects, the establishment of the Malawi Environment Protection Authority, and gold and gemstone buying initiatives by the Reserve Bank of Malawi.'
Major Mining Projects on the Horizon
Currently, seven larger projects are set to kick off and may begin production by the end of the decade. These include Kanyika Niobium Mining in Mzimba, Songwe Hill Rare Earths Mining in Phalombe, Malingunde Graphite in Lilongwe, Rutile in Lilongwe, Makanjira Heavy Mineral Sands in Mangochi, Tengani -Heavy Minerals Sands in Nsanje, and Kangankunde Rare Earth in Balaka.
