Morning invested PI's. Having worked on a number of acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures, my two pennies worth in terms of what interested parties will be taking into account in terms of acquiring MDZ (as per the RNS-accretive transaction) to name a few key factors is the following:-
The biggest factor will be the 3-5 year financial forecast (the golden cow market will be the corporate market and their business plan to attain a significant market share, the 3 other key markets retail, automotive and education they are much more established already).
The existing contractual client base (both new and long term existing clients as well as mature contractual discussions with additional new clients)
Property
Stock
Employees
Branding etc
Stock market listing - very attractive to buyers as it costs a lot of time, money and resources (both legal and investment mgt) to establish this platform
Given the next 3-5 years will be MDZ best revenue generating years given their established place in the market and the huge demand for MDZ services given the impact of covid particularly in the corporate market, my thought process would be that MDZ will be expecting a value of £12M+ and the good news is that they are speaking to a number of interested parties which generates competitive tension in terms of bids etc.
To summarise without seeing the business plan etc....my opinion is that you can easily see a buy out being in the region of an SP of 1.2p+ which would mean a multibag of at least 10 times in comparison to todays price.
DYOR PI's.....exciting times ahead.
For me , any potentially acquirer or indeed merger partner will see the list of established blue chip clients as hugely attractive in terms of supporting expansion with new clients and indeed organic growth. Those relationships are probably worth the mcap alone to the right party. We shall see how this pans out.
They'll also gain some very inept management, a win win all round eh ?
Rocka, bit harsh describing the management as inept- running a small company is hard, survival shows some level of competence and on balance I am expecting a great year , consequently have increased my holding by 50%!
That's blasphemy taverham, comparing the arguably finest piece of machinery to ever grace this planet compared with MDZ.
What relationships? I can phone up apple asking them to use my processors...does that mean I have a relationship with apple? The only relationships that matter are those that are revenue generative. None of MDZ "relationships" are as evidenced by that RNS as its the same old nonsense they have been pumping out for years.
I don't disagree re the market cap, and stopped clocks tell the time twice a day so any surprises could create a spike, and I do trade this, but sell on any spike immediately. Let's not fool ourselves that this company is anything but the dog of AIM
Taverham, lets not kid ourselves, the only reason MDZ are still here is the incredible amount of dilution over the years. That source of revenue looks to have ended for now but who knows, there's not much left to dilute now?
Rocka999....you just repeat the same nonsense, are you stuck in time or something....there was no party right?? lol Get with the script and focus on the RNS at hand and the year at hand.
Key points that again the trolls miss and do not have the competency to understand...in any acquisition or merger the incumbent exec are made redundant with a golden handshake and the resources below are retained. That is called economies of scale and the buyer reaping the benefits of the transaction.
MDZ RNS approach over the last number of months has been to announce new clients, acquiring new long term deals with existing clients etc but not to announce the financials, but provide a highlight summary update indicating a significant turnaround....RNS legalities mean that you cannot state that position if not true.
All the financials will be announced in the new year in one big bang as per the RNS legal requirement....you can only expect a bumper year given the language used and legally they are bound by that position. I am dismayed at your lack of understanding.
Its been their strategy for the last two decades happydays to not report revenue. Why...because there is none to report. Hell would freeze over if they reported an actual profit. Why do you keep talking about mergers and golden handshakes? How is this waffle relevant to MDZ?
It's been the same language for years and years. As Einstein said, only a fool expects a different outcome from the same experiment.
Given your and MDZ definition of relationship, I have a relationship with most high street stores and banks. Perhaps I should list myself and write an RNS talking about my amazing relationships and me forming a new relationship with a company because I went to their office and got a free pen once. Nevermind revenue and profits,
Let's just form lots of lovely relationships and forget about revenue. Are MDZ getting into corporate dating?
I see the chancers started bailing out today, spread out at 25% again, the MM's must be rubbing their hands with glee at all this easy money
Lol.....brilliant Rocka999 your insightful posts are amazing. Your life is worth the $hite on my shoe. Remember I want you on here when the financials are posted for the year in early 2022 and when MDZ is acquired for 1.2p+ in 2022.
P.S what are you going to do then when there is no longer a MDZ LSE board post being acquired????.....your life will be $ucked and in ruins....ultimately that is the day you are dreading most when your trolling posts have been given the ultimate retribution from your perspective...no more options to post $hite! That day is coming old boy......you need to think quickly of what you can re-invent yourself as other than THE MDZ troll for the last decade hahahaha.
Jeez happydays, no wonder you lost your hair....you'll lose your wig at this rate too.
What were you smoking when you wrote that? Some seriously strong stuff. It would take a looney asylum escapee with £15m for that to happen. Who knows, one may win the lottery and the first thing they do is buy mediazest for £15m.
I think you have far more chance of this happening than mediazest making any money to be fair.
How much do you actually have invested here happydays? We know it can't be more than £10k otherwise we would have seen a tr1. I suspect you have between £1-3k invested, or are MDZ management as your posts are so ramptastic that no one would be this passionate about what is essentially peanuts. You don't post on any other board other than here, an obscure dog of a company with less volume than a bud light with lime.
Happydays has probably got ten pounds worth of shares invested here that cost him £20 to buy, that seems to be the order of the day with MDZ investors. The main man Geoff has an insignificant holding and when he doesn't invest no one else should either.
Triumph1 I love the fact that I live rent free in your head and you spent a weekend trawling other social media platforms to identify other posters with the name happy days because that will definitely be me!! Brilliant........Your intelligence levels and your life can be summed up by that action.....tragic!
As a xmas gift when MDZ is acquired next year I will let you know how much I invested, how much money I made through the last couple of years, triggers to recognise, tips that you can utilise hopefully moving forward as it is evidence based that you are a failed investor and I can tell you are crying out for help. (Asos, Boohoo and Alien Metals what a legend you are when it comes to investments eh!)
There is no doubt in mind that you are fat, ugly, old, bald and the rest....but the greatest reward is that I live rent free in your empty head. Hahahahahaha
All that great news in the RNS and the SP is back where it started, I said the market wasn't impressed at the time, it was just a light sprinkling of fluff and nothing more to keep the despondent investors here interested.
It's funny to watch the trades on these "multibagger rns's" when they drop. 90% of the trades are chances and punters that buy in the morning, realise they have just brought into a dog and sell a couple of hours later at a loss. You can tell as most of the morning trades match exactly the afternoon trades lol. The remaining 10% sell on the spike and cash out from the punters. No actual investor would touch this dog with a barge pole.
I wonder if happydays brought on that rns if it was so great? Come on happydays, share your trade with us. The volume is so low that it can easily be verified haha.
And why do you keep saying living rent free in my mind? Is that code word for something? I don't get it. In my mind you are still living with your mum despite the fact that you are about 50 and bald, so yes...you do live rent free in my mind lol. Never seen anyone so feisty about a peanut investment. Don't worry happydays, you only lost a tenner haha
All in YOUR OPINION Triumph1. Maybe you should conclude your post- IMHOO - DYOR.
IMOOO= in my humble opinion only- unlikely to be humble in your case
DYOR= do your own research
IMHOO misstype
It's not in my own opinion sl100, it's FACT. Check the trades, it's not difficult to do given the volumes here.
Triumph1- appreciate your reply but its hard to be completely sure of so called 'facts'. Most 'punters' like ourselves do not have an intimate and accurate knowledge of a company's business operations. We invest on public available information and a bit of the old gut instinct.
This share is risky I would agree - but its certainly not the only risky one on AIM.
All the best for 2022
I was just talking about the trades that go through the book every time an rns drops. There is no appetite for these shares whatsoever with the investing community as can be evidenced by the matching trades, buy in the morning and sell at a loss by noon/early afternoon. Its punters taking a gamble.
I never said the company cannot turn things around as anything is possible. However with current management, historical performance and nothing of note changing, why would anyone expect things to miraculously get better. Why would anyone expect contracts to land out of thin air? Why would anyone expect a 15 year trend of dissapointment and loss to randomly reverse?
The best thing here would be an RTO with an entirely new company in a completely different industry with new leaders and rip down the MDZ banner. Clear the decks and start afresh. The only value to be had here is the listing itself. MDZ is basically a shell company.
Of course I am interested here purely for the abnormally low mcap which makes interesting things happen on AIM. But that's it.
Ok Triumph1 - fair points. Thanks.
