Looks like happydays has called quits and sold today.
Eerily quiet from happydays after his "gamechanging" RNS.
I did post some time ago that the BOD implied that there would be no quick fix here, my best guess was a 3-5 yr turnaround. The only real value is the listing, an acquisition would be the only escape from this perpetual nonsense we see every year. Don't lose focus, they have never made a profit hence an abysmal track record by the current management team. There needs to be a fundamental change in strategy or a change at the top.
results are okay in that the second half was profitable and the cash situation seems stable . The 'ongoing' income seems to be growing but overall it is 'stable' rather than exciting hence the term Okay mid way between v bad and very good imv.
Results are okay ? Compared to what ?
results are OK but this needs a significant contract announcement to push higher imv.
well we got to keep all of it today never seen that before'' interesting..
won't be long now to hear something i expect
The waiting is almost over....the financials will be detailed, hence the position will be black and white. There will also be an update re acquisition and outlook etc. Next week is going to be a big week! We can then analyse the trolls expertise and counsel versus the facts!
Eloquently put and probably not far off the mark from what I've seen previously released by MDZ
No doubt we will also see some of the usual hyperbole to follow also........
I'm gonna get my crystal ball out and predict what's in the upcoming RNS....
"Excellent potential for acquiring new clients. Made new relationships with several vendors and extended talks with existing relationships which has the potential to lead to material contracts. Significantly extended our pipeline of potential clients which have expressed interest in our fantastic offering.
In order to take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity, we are placing new shares to fully capture the fantastic opportunity afforded to us by several new contacts acquired over the period that could lead to significant future growth".
So MDZ, do I get the job? PM for a quote.....
The second half of the year showed notable improvement in the Company’s financial performance as demand for new projects increased.
Cash in hand at the period end also showed improvement upon the prior year and the half year interim results.
The Group expects to announce its annual financial results EARLY Feb.
MDZ CONTINUES to experience STRONG DEMAND across key sectors including Retail, Automotive and Corporate Office spaces in the new financial year ending 30 September 2022.
Key project highlights in recent months include a new Innovation Centre for leading supply chain and logistics provider Wincanton, the new Rockar Jaguar Land Rover dealership in London’s Canary Wharf coupled with several new stores for each of long-term clients Pets at Home, HMV, Post Office and Lululemon.
The Board believes the anticipated improvement in financial results and the foundations in place with several existing long-term clients provide the Group with a platform from which to grow both ORGANICALLY and by ACQUISITION in 2022.
As such the Board has recently engaged with several potential acquisition targets, in the same market as MediaZest International, with a view to possible business combinations. These discussions have been POSITIVE to date.
If someone invested in this company's future at any point in the last 15 years I assure you they would be very disappointed in the returns. Its been a death spiral all the way down to the fingers tips on a cliff edge moment. They've survived on dilution and loans but there's no hiding now for the management.
There he is.....what an informed, savvy PI does is they invest in the future outlook of a company! For MDZ it is:-
Financial results start of Feb (will be materially better than last year based on last year's RNS's and acquisition news). I want you on here when the next RNS is issued...no hiding.
All good thanks
Yesterdays increase didn't even break out of the spread so not a lot to crow about ?
I noticed someone spent £6K on shares yesterday, maybe they didn't notice that MDZ only had £16K in the bank account at the last set of results with well over a billion shares in issue, do the maths.................
I’m a bit concerned! I do hope Rocka is alright!
;-)
Love the business, nice website. Big clients
Ready for a merger or takeover at such low price.
Refer to the RNS in Dec.....annual financial results are out start of Feb....in the RNS it states there will be a marked improvement in financial results and i.e cash in hand. That is reflected in the previous RNS's for last year released in terms of contract wins and renewal of long term existing contracts. We will now find out the revenue for all these contracts.
MDZ are in active discussions regarding acquisitions...either joint venture (they refer to as business combination) or accretive transaction acquisition.....acquisition by larger entity.
Exciting times ahead.
Hmm what's going on lol
A few 2 mill buys couple 1.5m buys .
Absolute bargain.
Is that big?
Largest trade is £1,680
Big buys today. Something definitely brewing
Ok Triumph1 - fair points. Thanks.
I was just talking about the trades that go through the book every time an rns drops. There is no appetite for these shares whatsoever with the investing community as can be evidenced by the matching trades, buy in the morning and sell at a loss by noon/early afternoon. Its punters taking a gamble.
I never said the company cannot turn things around as anything is possible. However with current management, historical performance and nothing of note changing, why would anyone expect things to miraculously get better. Why would anyone expect contracts to land out of thin air? Why would anyone expect a 15 year trend of dissapointment and loss to randomly reverse?
The best thing here would be an RTO with an entirely new company in a completely different industry with new leaders and rip down the MDZ banner. Clear the decks and start afresh. The only value to be had here is the listing itself. MDZ is basically a shell company.
Of course I am interested here purely for the abnormally low mcap which makes interesting things happen on AIM. But that's it.
Triumph1- appreciate your reply but its hard to be completely sure of so called 'facts'. Most 'punters' like ourselves do not have an intimate and accurate knowledge of a company's business operations. We invest on public available information and a bit of the old gut instinct.
This share is risky I would agree - but its certainly not the only risky one on AIM.
All the best for 2022
It's not in my own opinion sl100, it's FACT. Check the trades, it's not difficult to do given the volumes here.
