I Have held lloyds since 2008 meltdown and looks like we are heading down again 6p has been knocked off the price in the last 5days.I Cannot see any positive news anywhere. The brexiteers seem to think everythings fine and nothing has even happened yet. That is why i sold this morning i hope to get back in when the dust settles .Good luck to everyone in these difficult times,
Farewell for now Mustard, I have held Lloyds for a similar amount of time but have decided to cling on. I have thrown away charts and analyst recommendations and gone back to foolish gut feel ..
*there is still a chance of a deal, who really wants a no deal. Ok, are are some but how many of them will be immediately impacted should it all go wrong.
*Lloyds fundamentals are still strong with an improving yeild aided by a reasonable buyback programme.
*Yes it looks like we are heading for a global downturn but fund managers will soon start to look for value and good returns.
*A hint of deal will make UK stocks look attractive, particularly as the pound continues to slide.
*US stocks needed to cool after the surge in July
*Traders will start returning to their desks over the next few weeks and look for value stocks.
You can probably tell the past few weeks have hurt.
I follow LTI amongst others, rely of them for a realistic take on what is going on.
mustard
'' i sold this morning ''
Thanks for offering shares towards my purchase
"*Lloyds fundamentals are still strong with an improving yeild aided by a reasonable buyback programme."
Lloy fundamentals are not sound , housing market over 20% overpriced , to which Lloy has greatest banking exposure .
Project Fear rolls on
Hahahaha
As long as Lloyd's pays my wages £20k annual Yield
Happy for us to carry on regardless eating up cheap as chips shares
Dear John
house prices have been 20% overpriced ever since they were built, and will continue to be 20% overpriced long after you've taken up residence at HMP, or the afterlife, which ever comes first.
As long as people have not been allowed to borrow 125% of the Value of the property don't think there's much of a problem...Hope good deposits have been taken risk assessted
Quilp,
Will Lloy reach 28p in what's left of my lifetime ?
Dear John, that all depends on what the tea leaves have to say on the matter.
Problem is Johnny Boy
While we have PPI and Brexit we ( Lloyd's) is a traders paradise
How long you got John? Decades one hopes! In which case, possibly
Onlyif - that made laugh. Nothing to worry about then ~phew~
Wids take your gold profits son
Run for the hills
BLIMEY There are a few del boys out there buying gold chains
Once in a life time just ask Gordon Brown
Hi Suff. Didnt GB buy high and sell low though? Never quite got to grips with this trading mallarkey did he
Shrimper.... patience dear boy, patience.
Wids times like this you do need a sence of humour ,it's no good worrying about things we cannot do anything about ,Lloyds is a sound business
Onlyif, sound business that maybe. These are not normal times, and things can change very quickly.
Sound or not is judged by your bank account.
Asian Markets are having another bad day, Dow Jones finished well down after Ftse closed yesterday and Dow Jones Futures is down. Looking very much like another big fall across the Ftse today with Lloyds dropping at least another 1p. I can't see things getting better anytime soon.
Not my bank account I assure you. Not normal times as you say, seems a perfect storm is being whipped up ,good and bad business 's will all be dragged down but it will be the good ones that will survive
